The concert that night was a huge success. Pamela and Vera had taken a chance by booking huge football stadiums for the tour. In setting up the concert at the stadium in Jackson, Mississippi, Veterans Memorial Stadium, the seating capacity would be slightly over 40,000; it would be embarrassing if she didn't draw well. However, despite Pamela's lessening popularity the concert was sold out. There was a buzz of excitement right from the get go as her fans anticipated a wonderful time.

Pamela and Natasha were identically dressed and with the aid of the presence of the ubiquitous huge screens the entire audience was treated to the full exotic effect of their provocative costumes. Pamela's new songs were well received and greeted by thunderous enthusiastic applause.

Natasha's contributions were exactly as Pamela had envisioned. The audience was vowed by her playing. Her violin playing complimented the other musicians to elevate the music to maximum listening pleasure, but Natasha was skillful enough not to let her performance overpower and negate the rest of the band.

Having had the benefit of viewing the 'bond' videos, Natasha pranced around the stage very seductively as she was simultaneously playing her violin. Her antics prompted constant wolf whistles and enthusiastic spontaneous cheering from the male members in the audience. At the end of the concert everyone in the audience felt fully entertained and satisfied despite the fact that most of the time Pamela did not play the kind of music that had garnered her initial fame. Pamela was totally thrilled by the audience reaction as it augured well for a successful continuation of her show business career.

At the end of the concert, Natasha finally met her half brother and sister. Pamela had arranged her children to see the concert and to come back to the dressing room which she and Natasha shared. Peter was now fifteen and was a spitting image of his father. Little Hannah, now thirteen, and although very much like her mother, possessed unmistakable features of her namesake: her maternal grandmother Big Hannah.

Given Pamela's constant disparaging of her motherly skills, Natasha had come to expect that her sibs would be snooty and obnoxious typical of so many celebrity children. However, Peter and Little Hannah proved to be well mannered betraying no conceit. After the initial awkwardness they got along splendidly. The meeting was a total success and Natasha was totally pleased to acquire an addition to her circle of family relatives.

Leonid had retired. With Vera's financial assistance he and Grusha had acquired a comfortable retirement home in Jackson. Thus after the concert, Natasha went with them to this home to spend the night. Some of the rest of the family had tagged along and so an impromptu party ensued lasting a few hours before Natasha finally got to sleep.

The next day Natasha went to Anna's home in Crystal Springs where almost the whole Starikovich family and in-laws had gathered to take advantage of Natasha's visit. At six o'clock Natasha left for the Grant mansion to meet her paternal family and have dinner as planned by Pamela.

To say that Pamela Rose and Larry Grant did not have an orthodox marriage would be an understatement. Still their marriage worked and as far as their adoring fans knew it was a successful one. Their marriage really worked because of the understanding they had established before the wedding. Each of their desired lifestyles was not changed but at the same time they enjoyed the benefits of being married. The main principal benefit was the image projected to the public, which in turn had a positive impact on their careers.

Thus, despite each leading what most would consider tawdry, lewd, steamy sexual lives, such behavior never came to light. Even if some members of the media did suspect that all was not as honky dory as it would appear; both Pamela and Larry comported themselves in public as if they were a couple in love with each other and enjoying the happiest of marriages.

They always explained their separate residences as merely the result of the exigencies of their careers not as a result of any discord. Since Pamela and Big Hannah were not close to any of the relatives they had, they always made a point to celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas at the Grant mansion in Crystal Springs. Pamela was sure to emphasize this fact to the media. You could always count on Pamela and Larry to appear at appropriate social functions as a couple. Whenever not with each other neither one of them was ever seen in an important public function in the company of another person of the opposite sex.

Outside of public events, if Larry was spotted on a date, he was always able to explain away the circumstances and insist he was not on a date. His dates had no inclination to protest such assertions since considering his amatory skills they never wanted to admit to their closest friends that they had agreed to a date with him. As for Pamela she never dated since she was only interested in sex with men not in companionship with them.

Pamela and Larry even occasionally had sex with each other. For Pamela she was always curious to learn if Larry's sexual techniques improved any considering the ever increasing number of women, she was aware he had fucked. Amazingly enough despite his extensive sexual experience he still refused to spend any appropriate time on foreplay. Pamela had gotten used to such lack of skill on his part that she was able to will herself into arousal when the occasion should arise. Thus, she was not dry when he penetrated her. That way sex with him although not exciting was at least tolerable.

The viability of their marriage was able to withstand even a potentially truly ugly sex scandal that recently surfaced in public. Some two years previously in pursuing a sexy reporter assigned to report on the team he was then playing for, Larry sent nude photos of himself to her. It was a dumb idea but as the female was not really interested in him nothing came of it. But in June of the current year the photos were discovered by an acquaintance of the reporter, and he caused them to be released on the internet.

To protect her own public image the reporter avowed that she was humiliated and hurt by Larry's unwanted intrusion in her life. She had wanted to forget about the whole thing and that is why she had not come out in public until she was forced to by the exposure of these photos on the internet.

The NFL alarmed by the potential image harm of the story chose to penalize Larry severely. They suspended him from preseason training as well as the first six games of the new season. Given his age, Larry knew he would unlikely be able to regain his starting QB job with his team after such a lengthy absence. Thus, he chose to retire and to take up a position in public relations with his father's businesses.

The furor of the scandal threatened the carefully crafted perfect marriage image that Pamela enjoyed. But she was able to defray such harm by her public reaction to the scandal when first approached by a reporter. When the scandal broke out the entertainment and sports reporters were clamoring to get a comment from Pamela. The first reporter to do so had spotted Pamela when she was in midst of shopping at one of her favorite fashion stores in Beverly Hills, CA.

The reporter accosted her for an impromptu interview and the following transpired:

"Pamela, I'm Shannon Calvert of the Hollywood Reporter. Can you spare a few moments to answer some questions?"

Pamela ever mindful of the need to cultivate the media, especially entertainment media, replied, "Sure Shannon. By the way I am always entertained by what you write. So fire away I can spare a little time."

"Great Pamela! Just to be brief do you have a comment on the state of your marriage?"

"My marriage? Well, I don't know what you mean by that question. Perhaps you can elaborate."

"Is your marriage in trouble?"

"In trouble? I really don't think so. I certainly am not contemplating commencing divorce proceedings. And as far as I'm aware my husband Larry Grant hasn't served me with any divorce papers either, and I do not suspect he has such inclination to so. Of course, I might be wrong on this point, do you then have different information?"

"Might not your marriage be in trouble in light of the news about your husband?"

"News about my husband? What news?"

"You mean to say you haven't heard the news about your husband? It's in all the papers and all over the television networks."

"I understand Larry is a pretty good football player so that he's constantly in the news. I am not a rabid football fan, so I don't read about him. Actually, I don't read about myself either for that matter, although I do read your columns Shannon."

Ignoring Pamela's obvious patronizing of her, the veteran reporter persisted, "But this is not sporting news. This is a scandal, a sex scandal involving your husband. Are you certain that you have not heard something about this?"

"Scout's honor! I am totally ignorant of any scandal sexual or otherwise about my husband. If you want me to comment you are going to have to enlighten me about this so called scandal."

"About two years ago when Larry was playing for the Miami Dolphins, he sent pictures of himself to Jennifer Sturgis, who at the time was a sports reporter for the Miami Herald covering the team..."

Pamela interrupted, "Wait a minute, let me see if I got this straight. Larry sent pictures of himself to a woman two years ago...two years ago? And this is news now?"

"Well, these pictures were recently discovered and made public now. Ms Sturgis claims she has been humiliated."

Pamela looked genuinely incredulously at the reporter and interrupted again, "This woman was humiliated because Larry sent pictures of himself two years ago which have just now become public. That seems hard to swallow."

"They were pictures of himself naked."

"And she complained?"

"She claims they were sexist."

Pamela scoffed and replied, "As Larry's wife I can truthfully say I've seen Larry naked countless of times. He may be sexist in his views like I daresay most men, but he certainly has a magnificent male body that any woman could admire. That is unless I suppose if one is a lesbian. Is this woman a lesbian then?"

"No she's not. Or at least it is not known that she is. But never mind that. The point is do you have a problem with all this?"

"Am I supposed to?"

"Well, aren't you at all infuriated that your husband has sent naked pictures of himself to another woman?"

"Not particularly."

"What about your marriage vows? The sanctity of your marriage?"

"I'm obviously not a lawyer and I'm certainly not an expert on the Bible; but I do not believe sending naked pictures of oneself to another person albeit not a spouse constitutes an act of adultery, neither in the eyes of the law nor in the eyes of God."

"So, you're OK with this? There's no problem in your marriage then?"

"I have no opinion on this matter except to say that it does not inspire me to commence divorce proceedings. I gather from the tenor of your questions that there is no news about Larry contemplating starting divorce proceedings either. So ergo there seems to be no trouble in my marriage and I am bored with this topic. Please excuse me I would like to finish my shopping."

The reporter happened to have a free lance camera man with her, so she shopped the video of the interview around. The segment proved to be very compelling such that it was aired in virtually every television venues possible throughout the nation and in some other countries as well. It was a segment featured on hard news, sports news and in entertainment news airings. Pamela's nonchalant reaction took the sting out of the scandal and the public quickly lost interest.

Both Larry and his father Lamar were extremely grateful for Pamela's support and totally appreciated her significant contribution to make this story go away. Sensing the goodwill she got from the Grants, she took advantage. She got Lamar to agree to invite Natasha for dinner after the Jackson concert and Larry to agree to finally meet his natural daughter.

Natasha was very agitated on meeting her biological father and his family. However typical of any child wanting to know something about his/her non-custodial parent she was very curious as well. As she arrived at the Grant mansion, Pamela did the honors of introducing Natasha to Lamar first and then to Larry.

With the introduction Larry took Natasha's hand to bestow a courteous kiss and said, "Once Pamela told me of her intention to introduce you to me and told me something about yourself, I looked you up on the internet. I also got your CD and listened to it with great pleasure. Although I'm not a classical music fan I was still moved by your recorded performance. I also saw the concert last night but because you were meeting your siblings, I did not want to spoil it for you by an unnecessary intrusion.

"I must congratulate you on what a fine young lady you have turned out to be. Your accomplishments already are truly remarkable considering how young you are. I can only regret my stupid decision not to have been at least partially involved in your life. It is one of the stupidest decisions I've ever made. I am proud to now meet you and as you are my flesh and blood the rest of my family is equally proud to meet you.

"Finally Natasha, please call me Larry there is no need for us to be any more awkward by referring to each other any differently."

Natasha was pleasantly surprised by Larry's gracious remarks which put her instantly at ease. So she replied, "Thank you Larry, I am pleased to meet you. Like any other kid growing up without a father I was naturally curious about mine. Since you were famous, I at least had the advantage of knowing some things about you as I was growing up."

Larry replied, "I guess I can be grateful that my latest public embarrassment did not occur when you were growing up or you might have lost all interest then."

"Well, I am an adult now and capable of making independent judgments. I think it is appalling how severely the NFL punished you which in effect forced you to retire. Surely what you do in your private life so long as it's not a crime nor hurts anyone can be of no concern to anyone else. I think you should sue the league and the bimbo who allowed the pictures to become public. It's obvious you could still play in the league for at least two more years."

Larry now amazed at her defense of him replied, "My God Natasha you speak like any daughter defending her father. Although I've not known you before I am totally pleased to know you now. I'm sincerely grateful that you are not embarrassed by me."

Natasha replied with enthusiasm, "Embarrassed? Oh course I'm not embarrassed. I'm proud of you. You are one of the greatest QBs of all time in NFL history and you will obviously be inducted to the Hall of Fame as soon as you're eligible. This current picayune matter will soon be totally forgotten and not tarnish your image whatsoever.

"You might be interested to know that during my freshman year at Northwestern, I dated the school football's team quarterback. He intimated to me that I must be dazzled to date a Big Ten quarterback. I replied it was no big deal to me since my father was a star QB in the NFL and his insufferable pride took a nosedive."

With that they proceeded to a very successful dinner. Lamar and Larry's sister Mary were equally delighted with Natasha's company as she had the greatest knack of prompting instant favorable impression. When Natasha left both Larry and Lamar declared that she was truly a member of their family and was welcome to visit anytime and without any warning. Larry assured that whenever he would happen to find himself in Chicago he would surely touch bases with her. Natasha returned home with a very wonderful feeling of ecstasy by the happy consequences of her participation in Pamela's Deep South Tour.

The concert at Tuscaloosa Alabama was Pamela's greatest gamble of the tour. Vera had booked the Bryant-Denny Stadium home field for the fabled Alabama Crimson Tide football team. Vera and Pamela had agreed to forsake the more conventional concert venues in Alabama as their seating capacities did not exceed 10,000. The football stadium could seat more than 100,000. With seats available on the field surrounding the makeshift stage, if all tickets available were sold, the concert would obviously be the largest concert ever performed in Alabama and for that matter in the south.

The gamble was that if there was not a capacity or a near capacity crowd for the concert the publicity for the tour would be blunted. The success of the tour would become problematic and the chances of Pamela regaining status in the top echelons of the entertainment world would be that much more difficult to achieve.

Vera's negotiations with the stadium management were extremely difficult as their only real interest was the football team, and they weren't eager to schedule a rock concert. However, once Vera could assure the safety of the stadium so that the field would not be destroyed agreement was reached. The concert was accordingly scheduled for the last Saturday in October being the only Saturday in that month when a football game was not scheduled.

Once the deal was inked, Vera started an aggressive advertising campaign throughout the United States promoting this event. It was Vera's contention that a lot of original fans of Pamela having grown older had become personally affluent. Given that Pamela had been totally inactive in show business for the past three years the idea of a special very limited tour would appeal to these fans to induce them to want to see Pamela no matter the distance they happen to be from Tuscaloosa. The advertising campaign paid off as the concert was sold out a week before the Jackson concert with about 30 % of the tickets sold to persons residing outside of Alabama.

The other gamble Pamela took for this concert was in costuming for herself and Natasha. Determined to compete with the exotic costuming at concerts by the likes of Madonna, Brittney Spears and Lady Gaga, Pamela opted to push the envelope much further. She decided on a very provocative look just for this performance. The Dixie Depot would be dressed in traditional common country and western garb, but Pamela and Natasha would be almost naked!

They would wear a specially commissioned designed string bra that was not reusable. The design was to cover only the nipples and areolae and leave the rest of their breasts exposed to view. The main string encircling the chest went underneath the breasts. Given the ample size of their breasts this string itself actually disappeared from view in the front. Another string was attached to the encircling string underneath both breasts and came out over the breasts to circle around the neck. This string contained the patches that would cover the nipples and surrounding areolae. The patches would grip the nipples sufficiently enough to retard if not totally prevent movement of the breasts.

To strengthen the integrity of the bra there was a connecting string in the back to connect the string around the neck to the chest encircling string. The strings were of material sufficiently strong to hold the breasts in place but had to be tightened exactly upon application. Thus, the bra could only be used once.

For the crotch, the women wore the skimpiest of thongs. Both Pamela and Natasha were completely shaved so that there was virtually nothing left to the imagination. The thongs were of special strong material that could withstand all movements and were also tightened upon application to the extent that they would not slip during the performance, i.e. no danger of 'wardrobe malfunction'. High heels completed the performance 'wardrobe'.
