"Very nice, Oscar. Thank you." She paused and he waited for her to speak, while she pulled a gold Mont Blanc pen from her purse and reached for one of his business cards on the counter. "Oscar, here's the number for my broker. He'll set you up with Charles' new fund."

Oscar bowed his appreciation, but did not embarrass her by responding. "I hope we will see you again, soon, Mrs. K."

"Actually, I was wondering if you might send Mandy by the house tomorrow. I've been looking for a new personal assistant. Say, 11:00?"

And, with that, she walked through the opened door and into her waiting car, suppressing one final shiver on the way.
