"Seeing how we didn't have time at Christy's. Maybe we can make it work tonight."
She smiles kisses me.
"I just want to make you happy girl. Cause I love you."
"Thank you cuz. I'd like that."
Rest of the way home I tell her how great she looked in that red swimsuit. Hell she would look good in burlap sack. She is laughing at me.
"God your such a suck up."
"No I mean it and you know it."
"Yea I guess I do."
At home mom asks how our day was.
"Good mom good."
"Yea we had a great time. I met Richard's girlfriend and her friend."
"Oh and what is this girlfriends name."
"Mom I told you I had a girl I was friends with at the pool."
"Oh yea I guess you did. Just how serious is this girlfriend?"
"We are just friends." I tell her.
"Right that's not what she said to me."
"Jo!"
"Hey Aunt Nita is no fool. She would figure it out before to much longer."
"So you have a thing for this girl?"
"Well kind of."
I'm sure my face is bright red I'm blushing so bad. I never have talked about girls with mom before.
"What is her name?"
"Christy."
"Christy is her mom Hellen?"
"Yea I think so."
"They live on Maple?"
"Yes. I think thats right. I have never been there. We always meet at the pool."
"I know her mom and dad some. They are good people. So I'm sure she is a good girl too."
