Wahoos1000about 19 years agoAuthorBoth good and bad. LOL First I would like to say that I am not a professional writer. Never claimed to be and never had the urge to post any of my thoughts before I found Lit. And even then, it took me quite some time before I felt comfortable submitting anything.
Having said that, I think that we should all understand that most of the members here are in the same boat as I am. Writing these stories is a type of release. Do I ever expect to be nominated for Lit award? No. It would be nice, but that is not the reason I submitted anything here.
I am a computer programmer by trade. I'm not an English Professor. I am sure that I made some grammar mistakes. But I proof read this story. And any mistakes that the professors here at Lit have found, I do not feel take away from the readers understanding the flow of the story. Was it really that hard to read? I thought it was pretty straight foward. If you find improper quoting that annoying, then maybe you should just go to the library and read a book there.
Just let us have fun. Thats all I'm saying. I don't want a grammar lesson. Was it easy to read? Did you enjoy the plot? Those type of things.
I'm not a professional. And I have no intention of ever submitting a story anywhere outside of Lit.

Anonymousabout 19 years agoAlthough I appreciated the nice build up for the story I see that you didn't work to much on it, especially on the second half were there's a bunch of spelling mistakes and clumsy expressions, it also ends a bit abruptly, but well why not...If you re-read what you write you can come up with better stuff, if you don't want to take the time to do that, just do something else...
