Click here"Mister Tones," Jack said. Let's see if he can salvage what was turning into a train wreck. "Are you aware Montel's man Mister Pitt tried to kill Eric Tanverson? According to Eric, it was to send a message to Xnomina."
Garry shrugged. "Kine lives. Nothing Jeremy can't do what he wants with, as long as he doesn't damage the Masquerade."
"Except Eric isn't kine," Jessy said. "He's Uratha."
"He didn't know that at the time," Garry said.

Xnomina is a play on some old words I used to use in story outlines I wrote for stories that I never did write. There's no hidden meaning in the etymology, sorry to say.
Xnomina - musing on this (been following you since chapter 1) as in ex-nomina? 'without a name' / 'the nameless'?
Curious as your etymology :-)
@Anon thanks!
@SensualSigma Jack and Eric lol. They have attributes that jive on the surface, but Jack is ultimately a young nerd and Eric is a bitter divorcee sports enthusiast. But, you never know.
