My Only Talent Ch. 01

She looked a little scandalized, but then her Suzie signal went wild! She held her hand up again, and I kissed it again, never taking my eyes off of hers. We exchanged phone numbers, and I decided I needed to talk to Kevin. I met a couple of the other 'senders' and introduced myself. One declined my advances after she learned I was not in the frat, but the other exchanged numbers, and I realized I had all the dates I could handle for a while! Then I spotted the president talking to Ms. Super Body, and she smiled and I could see her telling him "call me" with a big smile. She went back to the punch bowl. I walked over to him and said "Hey man that looks very promising!"

He looked at me with wide eyes. "That girl is so fine I can't believe it. She has the finest rack I have ever seen! And she wants me to call her!"

"She wants a lot more than that, my friend, so don't you be shy! First tell her you think she is beautiful and you are lucky she is going out with you. Then be aggressive with her, because I don't think she will make you wait too long to get down to it. Tell her she is so hot you just can't help but touch her, and then do it." He quivered like an excited puppy.

A few more girls that I had not seen in the line hit on me, but I could smell that they were both smokers, and that was a major turn off for me, even though they were both sending strongly. I sipped cola with no liquor, and watched a lot of girls and guys get pretty lubricated. I saw a very shapely blonde talking to Lou in an animated way. I walked a little closer and suddenly received several conflicting signals. I heard the interference signal when the blonde looked at me, but then when she looked at Lou, I could tell she was signaling strongly for Lou! I realized that her signal was very strong, but on another 'channel' like hearing interference on a distant radio station when there is a strong local signal nearby. Now I knew what was going on. I walked up to them and Lou introduced me to the blonde, who called herself Jersey, and I learned something else. She was sending strongly for Lou, and the interference was because Lou was also sending weakly for her, and strongly for me! A whole new world of possibilities was opening up here! I concentrated and decided that the blonde girl was sending strongly for Lou on that 'other channel' but weakly for me on the 'regular channel', too! Lou was sending strong for me and very weakly for this girl. That was a lot of information to process, but I was learning a lot.

The mixer wound down and Kevin said he had a late night pledge class, and slipped me $200 from the bets he had made. I decided to mosey on back to the dorm by myself. I thought about Janet. She was fantastic, and I was going to stay with her at least until the end of spring semester, as we had discussed. Chrissie was also fantastic, but I could keep her on the back burner for a while and still not lose out. But Suzanne was the one I most wanted to spend time with when I was not with Janet. She was high risk and high return, because she was older, more sophisticated, and beautiful enough to attract any guy she wanted. But I had to admit I wanted her like no one I had ever met before! And I had three other prospects that I needed to ask out just to see what they were like up close and personal. I guess I had my dating assignments pretty straight. But classes started day after tomorrow and I would need to get that under control, too.

But this was sure a lot more fun than high school!
