My Only Talent Ch. 08

Peggy awoke. "What's going on?"

"I just need to look at a website for a moment." I waited for the ranch's satellite internet link to come up, and then the main AG site filled the screen.

Peggy startled. "The Alpha fucking Gammas! If you are a member we are definitely finished!"

I laughed. "No chance of that! If I were ever to join a frat it would probably be UDP. But a friend told me to take look at a page on their site!"

I looked for the tab for the "Coed Cooze Cam" and found it relabeled as "Campus Creep Cam" and when I clicked the same old page layout came up but with a whole new set of thumbnail photos to click on. The 'Crimson and Cream' video with Lara in her red outfit was gone, and the thumbnail was replaced with what looked like a picture of James Craig, the football guy, and another younger guy. There was a yet another thumbnail at the top of the page labeled "Alpha Gamma's Latest Pledge Class" and when I clicked on it I saw the 'radioactive' video that Cisco had shown me earlier.

"Holy Shit!" Peggy exclaimed. "That's disgusting. What was that?"

The caption below it video said 'The latest Alpha Gamma pledge class upholds a long standing and seminal tradition and slides into history, joining with active members and all the previous pledge classes in the annual induction ritual.'

Every thumbnail I clicked on showed another year's 'slide' in disgusting clarity. Peggy was aghast. "Is that really what I think it is?"

"I am afraid so. It apparently had been one of their rituals for many years."

I realized that Cisco had carried through with my idea in spades, and replaced the thumbnails with the most recognizable AG alum in each video. Lara and all the other 'coed' videos were nowhere to be found. Down at the bottom was a larger, higher quality thumbnail labeled 'AG President Jimmy Craig'. When I clicked it we saw a super high quality HD video that was new to me. A young guy was tied to a bed on one side of the frame, and next to him the video of him sliding and coming up covered with goo was on the other. Then as a blackout circle appeared over his crotch, his loud and off key voice quivered with genuine emotion as he sang the Alpha Gamma song of devotion, obviously highly intoxicated.

Peggy drew in a sharp breath. She grabbed her phone and hit a speed dial number. "Jesse, call me back forthwith! You are not going to believe which candidate and his son just showed up in some incredibly embarrassing videos on the web!"

At the UDP house, they played the videos over and over, and the small audience screamed their approval and uproarious laughter each time they ran. Mei Ling and Cisco waltzed around the floor to the Alpha Gamma devotion song each time the video was repeated, and Suzanne danced with Eddie, Oiler, and a couple of the other UDPs.

Down at the ranch, Peggy's phone rang and I only heard her side of the conversation. "No YouTube yet, but it won't be long. If I were you I would just film the screen and capture each of those video's before they wake up and take them off. Cousin, as the youngest and most ambitious political beat reporter in the Houston TV market, shouldn't you be getting James Craig on the phone for his 'reaction'? Yes, you are welcome. Let me know what you find out!"

While she was talking I called Asa Weltschmerz and said "Things are going great!' and he said thanks and rang off. Then I called Kevin and gave him a heads up and told him to give his father the same advice that Peggy had about capturing the videos.

After ducking a call and listening to the message from Channel 13 EyeWitless News, James Craig tried to figure out what video and what website the reporter was asking about. He called Little Jimmy and got only voicemail. He did a query on his name and video, limiting the hits to the last 24 hours, and up popped a link to the Alpha Gamma website. He clicked. He fainted.

Millicent Hathaway watched Mei Ling dance with The Cisco Kid and knew that Robbie Roberts had been correct. If those two had not already slept with each other, they certainly would tonight. Millicent texted a recent Phi Phi graduate that was doing an internship as a video producer at TMZ in California, thinking this little scoop might just get her some face time on camera. Millicent realized she had to deal with the fact that she had a bet to pay off on. She found herself shaking a little bit, and could not stop from wondering which two women Mr. Roberts had meant? But right now she realized that she needed to go upstairs and change her wet panties. It had certainly been an interesting Saturday.

Suzanne leaned back and watched Mei Ling and Cisco dance, and wondered what was making Millicent Hathaway so dewy eyed. Suzanne missed Robbie already, and she was looking forward to enjoying Sunday sewing and Robbie and Lara without that feeling of impending doom. She was going to really let her hair down with those two tomorrow. It was going to be the hottest sewing circle ever held.
