I leaned over and left her with the ghost of a kiss on her lips, letting just the tip of my tongue brush over the sensitive skin. Kass shivered as I ran my hand along the top of her chest, from shoulder to shoulder, as I turned around and walked away with the silent grace of the more feline part of me. I left her and Kelli there to finish removing the rest of their clothing, while I went around and made sure that all of the lights in the house were off. Even with the moon rising in the sky, I didn't want to make it easy for anyone who might be watching by chance to see us as we made our way to the ring of stones.

"Ok, let's go," Kelli stated with authority, and I turned off the last light as she slung a bag over her shoulder. "We want to make sure to get there with plenty of time to complete the bathing and purifying parts of the spell."

We were all young, and even though I had an advantage in muscle tone and strength, the sight of their bodies had me struggling not to gasp out in my obvious attraction to the two of them. I could feel a similar struggle over my bond with Kelli, and even Kass' emotional state was at a fever pitch. The curve of our breasts as they thrust out from our bodies, seemingly in defiance of gravity itself, and the way the moonlight streaming through the windows made our skin look as smooth as polished glass. If someone would have snapped a picture in that moment, anyone seeing it would probably think that we were nothing but excellently sculpted marble statues.

The warm breath of the heated summer air brushed over our bodies when I opened the door to the back patio and stepped outside into the comfortable embrace of the night. Kelli followed me without a second's hesitation, but it was clear Kass was still feeling a great measure of embarrassment. We were patient, however, and gave her the time she needed to feel comfortable. She joined us after only a minute or two, and was still using a strategic placement of hands to try and hide herself from view, even though we were the only ones out here.

"Look, Kass," I whispered to her and took her hand. "You just walk between Kelli and me, until we get to the cover of the trees, then you will have plenty to hide behind once we get there."

"That's right," Kelli added as she took her other hand, and started us all walking to the trees. "But try and let your mind focus on the reality that tonight it is just the three of us, and the slivery caress of the moonlight and all that it represents. Try, Kass. Truly try and embrace the power that is here for you to grasp."

"Ok, I will try," Kass whispered in reply, and I could still feel the nervous flutter of her emotional state over our bond. "I will really try, but I am just so, scared."

"You are here with us," I said in a matter of fact way. "We are your friends, we are sisters in a way, and after we all share the same lover, we will be sisters through the bond of motherhood. While those thoughts make me almost as nervous as you are right now, the excitement and courage that I get from them more than makes up for it."

"You're right, of course," she said, with a shy grin, right before she squared her shoulders and did her best to walk tall between Kelli and me. "If I can't do it for me, then I will make damn sure that I do it for all of us."

She squeezed our hands just a little bit tighter, and I could feel her pace pushing us to move more quickly as well. Normally I would love to just take my time and enjoy the feeling of the air on my skin, and the grass under my feet, but I decided that I could move faster if it made Kass more comfortable with the situation. I was so focused on her emotions and how this night time activity was affecting her that it surprised me a lot when her emotional state became tinted with fear and wonder, and a gasp was torn from her throat.

I looked to where Kass was staring, and I realized that she had stopped us all in our tracks. It made me chuckle a bit that it was only Kita coming out of the trees that had made her stop, and then I noticed that Kita was not alone. Several of the pack members had joined her when she had come out to greet us. I dropped Kass' hand and sprinted to the wolves with a joy in my heart that I hadn't felt in several days, because ever since the picnic at the circle, Kita had been spending most of her days with the other wolves.

I didn't begrudge her the time that she wanted to spend with them, and Avery's veterinarian friend had said that there may come a point where she would associate more with the wolves than with me, though he wasn't aware of the bond that Kita and I shared. The last few days, though, had been a bit lonely without her playful antics annoying Kelli and I whenever we were at our busiest, and I began to wonder if the connection was actually something less than I originally thought.

The moment I reached her, however, all of my doubt about our bond was washed away when she tackled me to the ground and licked nearly every inch of skin she could reach. The other wolves waited with patience for their turn, knowing that I belonged to Kita, as she did to me. By the time that Kelli and Kass reached us, the wolves had finished greeting me properly, and turned their attention to my bond mate and our friend. Kelli was allowed to give them all a scratch, and received a few playful head butts and licks in return, but Kass was an unknown quantity as far as they were concerned.

"Come here Kass," I called to her, as I held out my hand. "They just don't know you or your scent yet. Well, Kita does, but the others are just a bit nervous."

"They aren't going to hurt me, are they," she asked, while taking great care to move towards me with slow and deliberate steps. "I've played with Kita before, sure, but I'm kind of frightened right now."

"Don't be," I replied, and as soon as she was close enough I took her hand and gestured to the other pack members that had shown up. "Just crouch down here with me and hold your other hand out like I am, and they will soon associate you and your scent with me."

Kass did as I instructed, and with both of us there at the wolves' eye level it wasn't long before they all came forward to see who she was. I used the very limited ability that I had to communicate to them that Kass was a friend, and meant them no harm, and within a few minutes I let her hand go and allowed her to get to know some of the pack like Kelli did.

I was aware that we didn't have a lot of time to spend, but Kelli didn't seem worried about getting things moving, so I let the two of them have some fun with my other friends. Kita caught my eye during all of this, and I noticed that she was staying quite close to one of the males that had joined her for their jaunt outside of the forest, and it was pretty clear that he was putting himself between Kita and what he sensed could be danger or unwanted male attention. It certainly appeared as if she had a boyfriend.

Truly, though, I knew that projecting a human concept of a boyfriend girlfriend relationship onto a pair of wolves was not very realistic. From some of the studying I had done as part of my work with the refuge, I had learned that most often an outside wolf would begin to run with another pack, and this usually provided a great deal of genetic diversity. Which all meant that the young male that had Kita's attention was most probably from a far distance outside of the pack's territory, and the fact that she was accepting of his advances meant that her pack would receive some needed diversity. I resolved myself to keeping an eye on her when I could, because I was not sure what Kelli and I would do with a litter of pups around the house.

"Ok, as fun as this is, we need to get going or we may run out of time," Kelli called out, standing up from the small group that was playing with her. "There is still some things to do before I can cast the spell, and timing is of the essence."

"But, this is so amazing," Kass complained, her voice filled with wonder and joy. "Can't we just..."

"Sorry Kass," I interrupted with a slight grin as I shooed the wolves away, and silently asked Kita to have them watch the clearing for intruders while we were there. "If Kelli says we need to hurry up, then we are much further behind than I thought. Come on, run with me and enjoy the wind in your hair."

I grabbed her and with a giggle and pulled her off into the trees at a pace that was fast, but safe enough for her as long as she stayed near me. She complained for a few moments, scared that she was going to trip or step on something that would hurt or even cut deep into her feet. My confidence and steady pull as we jogged through the silent sentinels that made up this forest, and the realization that she wasn't even getting smacked in the face by hanging branches and leaves, eventually had Kass laughing with delight along with me.

Kelli was a bit more careful without me by her side, but she and I had walked these paths often enough over the last few years that she could almost navigate the journey as fast as we were without any help from me. I could feel nothing but cool confidence over our bond, which was the complete opposite of the excitement that I felt from Kass as she did her best to keep up with the pace that I had set. The two contrasting feelings made me realize that, from her point of view, Kass was sure we were making a reckless charge over unknown terrain and in the dark as well. It was no wonder she was exhilarated.

"Just a few more minutes," I called out to her while reveling in the feel of the rhythm as our feet met the ground, over and over. "We're almost there."

I looked back over my shoulder and she acknowledged me with just a nod of her head, and I had to giggle at the look she was giving me. With my enhanced vision, I could see the flowing waves of her auburn hair whipping out behind her as we ran, and the joyful gleam in her eye as she concentrated on following me, nearly pierced my soul. Normally I am unshakeable when I am moving over the earth, my connection to the element granting me balance and agility far beyond what even my Neko abilities afforded me. This time, however, I nearly stumbled and brought both of us to the ground.

Kass had always been gorgeous, but the combination of the scattered moonlight and the wind as we made our way from tree to tree, enrobed her with a beauty that was so ethereal that it halted my thoughts for a moment or two. Even Kelli could feel my amazement and the physical attraction that I felt, and it managed to elevate her lust and desire for me, and for Kass. Knowing what we were about to be a part of had my core pulsing with heat, and had my labia vibrating with delicious friction with every step that I took, and it was all that I could do to keep myself upright.

"And here we are," I called out as the two of us nearly flew into the clearing. "That was a bit of an adventure, don't you think?"

"Oh my god," Kass exclaimed as she let her eyes fall on our clearing that was bathed in lunar radiance.

The knowing smile on Kelli's lips at Kass' excited declaration made me grin as well, as her slender body moved with a silent grace into the outer edge of the ring of stones. Like Kass, her hair seemed to glow as if it was filled with a silvery fire. In the pale light of the moon, every curve of her body moved from pale radiance to deep shadow with every step she took, and my breath was stuck in my throat as she moved towards us with slow deliberation.

As she passed by us, Kelli brushed her hand with a feather's breath across our skin, which made Kass and I shiver and moan in delight. My nose was twitching with the soft hints of the musky scent that each of us was giving off, even in such a small state of arousal, and it raised goose bumps all over my body with every breath I took. I could hear the huskiness of Kass' breathing, and that, mixed with an intense heat that she was radiating, caused my delicate labia to open like the petals of a flower.

"Come on," I whispered to her in a low voice as I took her hand again. "Kelli will need us over at the altar."

She didn't say a word as we made our way across the open area of the innermost ring of stones, and from the sounds our legs were making as we walked, I could tell Kass was matching my arousal perfectly. We were quiet as we approached Kelli from behind, her back to us while she was preparing the few items that we would need for this ritual. Once we had made our way there, she maneuvered us to where she wanted us to be.

"Myka, if you could stand here please," she instructed, and I took my place as she indicated a second spot near the altar. "And Kass, if you would please stand here."

After showing us where we needed to be, she turned back to the altar and began to chant while drawing designs in the air with her fingers. With each word, I could feel the power of the earth beneath us pulse in response, and as she went on it made my body want to tremble. Nothing was left behind as she wove her fingers in their intricate dance, but after a short while it seemed like they produced a glowing afterimage with each movement. When I took a moment to look around, I noticed that the arcane patterns we had etched into the stones when we created the circle were now glowing with a soft light that mirrored the silver sphere above us.

"Oh my god! This is absolutely beautiful," Kass exclaimed, and I had to agree with her.

Her cry brought my attention to what she was experiencing, and I realized that in the last few moments we had all become connected by a circuit of power that flowed in time with Kelli's chant. The more I concentrated on what I was feeling, and what the two of them were feeling as well, the more I recognized the burning sensation that was in my chest as being the beginnings of one hell of an orgasm. How Kelli could keep speaking, and with a steady voice no less, was a serious mystery, because Kass and I could not now breathe without hearing the ragged sounds of our impending climaxes.

The three of us were now using the altar as support, because not a one of us could stand on our own, but Kelli was still chanting in a voice that seemed to reach the sky. I could smell the mixed odor of our arousal as the scents combined to swirl through the air around us, and my eyes widened as the inside of the bowl Kelli was chanting over began to glow with a soft, silver luminance.

"Unnnnngggghhh... Oh my god," Kass cried out, the first of us to fall over the crest into sexual bliss, and the shock of it caused her legs to collapse.

"Oh holy shit," was my cry, and I screamed out my pleasure at the orgasm that ripped through me like thunder.

Kelli was the only one of us that did not completely vocalize her climax, but as she approached the end of her chant, her voice grew louder in a frenzied crescendo. I felt her peak while I laid there on the ground in the haze of my afterglow, and I watched as her legs trembled and forced her to kneel. And then the rest of her was shaking in the throes of pleasure, but somehow she managed to finish her spell, causing the clearing to fall into a silence that was tarnished only by our labored breathing.

"Well that was an interesting effect," Kelli remarked when she was finally able to get back on her feet. "And that was only the first step. We may be in for a wild night, my loves."

"If that keeps happening tonight, you won't hear me complain," Kass giggled as she got up on legs that were still shaking from the exertion. "But didn't you know that was going to happen when you started casting the spell?"

"I actually didn't. I know I got the magic right because I was particularly careful in my research. What you have to understand, however, is that this kind of magic has not been used this way in centuries. What we are invoking tonight is the blessing of old magic, which existed before this world did. And that is why I was so very cautious while preparing."

"Well, whatever it was you did, it felt damn good," I laughed, and leaned against the altar for some extra support. "So what do we need to do next?"

"Now I need to add a bit of blood from each of us," she said, and gestured to the still glowing bowl in front of her.

"Blood? You didn't say anything about blood," Kass argued, and I could sense that she was feeling a slight touch of fear.

"I'm not talking about large amounts here," Kelli countered with a soft smile, and that seemed to put Kass more at ease. "Just a few drops from a finger or thumb will be fine."

"But why is it even needed? It just seems a bit overboard for what you said we were doing."

"It is both a symbolic and literal sacrifice of ourselves," I answered, and I felt a jolt of surprise from both Kelli and Kass. "I was paying attention when Ali was teaching you some of your lessons, and it seemed like a logical answer."

"Myka is right," Kelli confirmed with a nod. "This kind of magic is calling on the forces in the universe that create life. It is asking those powers to bend to our desires and cause a specific outcome, namely our simultaneous pregnancies. But for this kind of magic to work it requires that a measure of power be given by those who wish to invoke it."

"But what could a few drops of blood matter," Kass asked.

"Blood is the very thing that keeps us alive. Its flow through our bodies provides constant nourishment and continuously removes impurities, which makes it extraordinarily powerful in that aspect alone. It also holds readily accessible sources of our DNA, and that is the foundation that determines nearly all of what we are, and what we can become. Coupled with the flow of magical power and magical constructs, blood can provide enough power to make a spell so absolutely binding that it is nearly impossible to break."

While she was explaining, Kelli had picked up the small silver knife that she had brought, and with a swift movement she jabbed the tip into the middle of her thumb. All that crossed her face when she gave it a gentle squeeze over the bowl was a slight grimace, after which she passed the knife to me. I had no doubt that it was necessary, so I followed suit and gave my few drops before handing the small blade to Kass.

"Guys, I'm just not completely sure about this," she almost whispered, and I could see that she was almost ready to back out. "Do we really have to have this spell?"

"No, we don't," Kelli replied as she took Kass in her arms, careful of her still bleeding thumb. "If you are uncomfortable with this, then we will stop right now and just leave it to chance like anybody else that is trying to conceive. I have no problem with that. But Kass, I promise you that this will not harm you in any way. And after you finish with your offering, I'm sure Myka can use her skill with the elements to seal the cuts as if they'd never been there."

I looked her in the eye as I nodded and showed her that I had already healed my own thumb, and even knowing I could do things like that, she was still surprised. It seemed to be the catalyst that decided things for Kass, and while I was taking care of Kelli, the sharp gasp I heard over my shoulder let me know that she was, at the very least, ok with continuing. I could feel the energy pulsing from the bowl when I took a hold of her hand to heal the small cut, and when I looked, the glow had changed from the soft silver light to a brilliant gold which seemed to light up the area immediately around the altar.

"That wasn't so bad, right," I asked Kass, still holding her hand.

"No, but it still makes me nervous in a lot of ways. There are a bunch of myths and stories that make magic that uses blood out to be evil and, well, I still don't understand much about the kind of powers you both have. Neither of you are bad, but won't using magic like this change you, or let you take control of me whenever you want? Not that you would do that! But, that's why I am nervous about this."
