"I will begin a final chant and the power will seal the binding of the spell to us. After it's done, we will need to go to sleep under the light of the moon for the full effects to happen, so I hope that's ok."

"Well, I told Paul that we were going to be busy all night," Kass laughed in reply. "Plus, it's been a long time since I've been camping with friends, though I have never slept out with any of them naked after participating in a sex fueled magical ritual."

"There is one more thing too," Kelli replied after we all finished laughing at Kass' comment. "Until the next full moon, when Paul will take each of us in turn, there can be no sexual intercourse for any of us at all."

"Wait! What the hell are you saying," I gasped in surprise. "I'm just supposed to keep my hands off you for the next month? That could be really difficult."

"And what is Paul going to say when I tell him this," Kass asked in complete agreement with my argument. "Hi honey, I had a great night with the girls, but we can't fuck each other until the next full moon? That is not going to be a fun conversation."

"Sorry to spring it on you both like that, but it is really important. Think of this ritual as a symbolic restoration of our virginity."

"So, you're saying that we're all virgins again," Kass asked with a snicker, and I couldn't keep my own snort of laughter inside.

"You should sell this kind of service, babe," I added, which caused more laughter. "I know quite a few people who would pay to have their virginity back. I mean, think of the business from regretful drunkenness alone?"

"Oh goddess, you both are a laugh a minute. While it seems funny, we aren't actually becoming virgins again. If we wait until the next full moon, which was our plan to begin with, then the power available in the act of our coupling with Paul will be much more potent. The only way a ritual based around sexuality like this could be more potent is if the participants were actual virgins. There is a great deal gained when something so precious is surrendered willingly in this manner."

"I never thought of it like that," Kass replied, and I could sense a touch of embarrassment coming from her.

"Kass, there is a lot that we don't know about how any of this works. And while Kelli does explain a lot to me, I have only a slightly better understanding than you do. But if we need to be celibate for a few weeks to make this work, then I know that I can get through it."

"And it's not as if you can't have an orgasm in that time," Kelli added with a chuckle. "If the strain gets too much then you can rub one out if you really need to. That won't affect things, but something about the act of penetration, and the surrender that is implied by it, is what affects the spell."

"Well that's a relief to know. I guess my hand will be busy for a while."

Kass' comment caused us all to laugh again for a little while, and then Kelli gave us a look that let us know she was ready. Her eyes closed, and over our bond I could feel her begin the process of drawing on the currents of power that the spell she was casting attempted to control. I really hadn't paid attention to it until now, but the realization of how monumental this task was for her to perform finally hit me, and I was sure she could feel the pride I felt radiating from me like sunlight.

Kelli's words were similar to the chant that she performed when we had first started, but there were subtle differences that I couldn't really make out. She was speaking in little more than a whisper, but her voice had the power of the loudest thunder behind it. It felt a lot like what I could feel when I drew upon and used my connection to the earth, but something about it was much more potent.

The designs that had been drawn on our bodies began to glow, and within moments, the light given off by the now bright silver lines rivaled the moonlight in their intensity. Waves of power that burned like fire and ice started shooting throughout my body, and through the circuit the three of us had made with our joined hands, and I could feel again the building feelings that signaled another epic orgasm.

The power freed with every syllable of Kelli's chanting pounded into my body, and the sensation was like being held in the grip of an incredibly strong set of masculine hands and being fucked within an inch of my life. I was moaning in pleasure again, and if my mind would have been able to formulate a coherent thought I would have wondered how Kelli could keep up the chant if she was feeling the same thing.

The feelings nearly overwhelmed me, but before I lost my mind to the thrill of being taken in such a manner, the power behind the glowing design seemed to take the raw energy and masculinity and proceeded to guide it and direct it towards some other purpose. My mind struggled to understand what was occurring for a few moments before the light of knowledge made things clear. The magic of the spell was drawing on the male and female halves that made up the powers which governed the entire universe.

Once I had made that connection, however, Kelli's chant ended, and the sensations caused by the two influences working as one throughout my body vanished, causing a climax that caused all three of us to collapse. I laid there near the altar for several long minutes, doing nothing but listening to all of us breathing. We eventually recovered enough energy to stand, and when we did I noticed that most of the design had vanished, leaving only the stylized roots that were placed just above the mons, right over where our wombs would be.

"I'm kind of glad that you said we have to sleep under the moonlight after," Kass remarked, and I could hear a great deal of exhaustion in her voice. "That was... Well, I know that I couldn't walk back to your house if I tried."

"I doubt any of us could," Kelli agreed, and I nodded in quick agreement.

"Give me just a second and we can go to sleep," I said, and I used the last bit of energy I could muster to call forth a bed of soft grass and leaves in the middle of the circle. "There. And that's the best I could do."

I was able to manage two steps before collapsing into the middle of the area I had prepared, and within a moment or two Kelli had snuggled up to my right side, and Kass on my left. Both of them wrapped their arms around me as we all sighed in relief, and I was barely able to recognize the shift of their breathing into the regular pattern of deep sleep before my own consciousness fled and I surrendered to the darkness.

The sensation of twisting combined with a less than gentle pull caused me to wake in an instant, and I realized that I must have been sleeping for a few hours. The moonlight was gone, the silver orb having set some time ago, and the temperature was a bit more chill. I stood up and nearly went into a panic when I discovered that neither Kelli nor Kass were there with me, and I started to wonder if they had been taken

I looked around in my panic and realized that, although I was not anywhere near the clearing where I knew the three of us were sleeping, I had once again been pulled into the dream world. The slightly washed out color, the lack of sound outside of what I was currently making, and the fact that I was wandering around without any clothes on even though I remembered going to sleep naked, were the other cues that let me know what had happened. Everything around me was unfamiliar, and I realized that I had never been to this place before.

The ground was covered in brush and brambles, and the trees were like silent oppressors, waiting for the right moment to reach out and lash me with their punishment. As I made my way through these malevolent sentinels, the thorn covered ground and the sharp pointed branches scraped across my skin, leaving red marks in their wake. I usually felt at home, and at peace even, when I was walking through wooded and natural areas, whether or not they were connected to the clearing and the circle in any way, but this forest was not my friend.

I could feel my connection to the earth so I knew I still had some small measure of control here, but it was as if the power was trying to fight me every step of the way. The sensations were somewhat familiar, but it was as if this ground had become hard and vengeful, seeking to extract a price in blood from anyone who dared to cross into this limited domain. When I finally came to a break in the trees, I gasped for air, not realizing that I had been holding my breath.

Just beyond the line where the forest was beginning to thin out some, I noticed a large area littered with fallen blocks of stone that laid strewn in a haphazard array. They were scattered within close proximity to a series of crumbling walls, which were covered in a dank and foul smelling moss, and my discovery of this foreboding ruin sent chills down my spine. Even with all of my instincts telling me that I needed to turn and run as fast as I possibly could, underneath that miasma of evil was a power that was calling out to me desperately for help.

The feelings of purity and hope that were reaching out to me from this unseen force were the only reasons that I had not fled already, and against my better judgement, I moved forward into the remains of the buildings that had once stood in this place. Step by agonizing step, I pressed deeper between the ruined walls, fighting to keep my fear from controlling my actions. The last time I had felt this afraid was when Jasmine and Mathias were using my dreams in an attempt to push me over the edge into insanity before they tried to enslave me back in Scotland. The aching need for rescue that was tearing at my very soul, however, was stronger than the terrors of then and now.

After a few minutes of walking around the piles of rubble and cracked foundations, I finally stumbled upon a set of stairs that led down into an inky blackness, which was underneath one corner of the largest remaining pieces of this broken building. The warring sensations that were telling me to both run and to press on were making my mind spin, and once more I almost let my fear have its reign. I was only a blink away from bolting when whatever it was that was calling to me let my mind and heart know that everything would be alright.

My bare feet made no sound, as I pressed down into the deepening darkness step by step. What little light there was coming from the forest gloom above was quickly swallowed by the blackness of the unknown. Even with my enhanced eyesight, I was having a great deal of trouble seeing very far in front of me, and each step I took felt like it could be the last once whatever catastrophe that awaited me made itself known. I was also maintaining a tight control on my breathing, so that I did not make a sound, which would bring the attention of the vengeful spirits that might inhabit this tomb down upon my head.

Seconds seemed to flow into hours in the near total darkness of whatever hallway or chamber I had discovered and every step forward that I took felt as if it lasted an eternity. As I continued further into the darkness I could feel the back and forth competition between my fear and whatever comforting power was drawing me onward increase in intensity, and I started to wonder if I was going mad.

Before I truly gave into despair, however, I noticed that there were now sigils inscribed on the walls of the passage, and each sigil glowed with the sickly green light that I knew was part of the magic that both the Betrayer and Mathias used. The soft light allowed my sight to finally penetrate into the darkness, and the small measure of confidence that gave me was the only reason that I was not already running in terror from what might be lurking here.

My feet still made no sound as I crept my way down the corridor towards an opening in the wall that was still some distance away, and my eyes could now discern a small amount of light spilling out into the hall that was not the same as the green sigils that surrounded me. It was a soft light that looked like it could be either white or a very pale yellow in color, and as I concentrated on it, I knew that it was the source of the power that had encouraged me to locate its source. If there was a goal to this unplanned adventure, then this was probably it.

I picked up my pace enough to be a bit hastier while still moving as silently as I had been. I wanted to figure out what was happening here and then leave this place as quickly as possible. The moment I made it to the edge of what looked like a worn and crumbling doorway I stopped. My senses reached out to see if there was any sign that someone, probably the Betrayer, was waiting for me to show myself, but after a few long moments, I gave up. If it was an ambush, then it was hidden far beyond my abilities to detect, and the feeling of hope that I had been sensing was washing over me in steady waves.

Thankfully, nothing happened as I stepped around the edge of the doorway and looked into a small chamber that was empty of anything except a thin column of stone in its center, which ran from floor to ceiling. There were several hooks at varying heights on the column, all of them spaced evenly in a number of rings that encircled the worn rock. My eyes were immediately drawn, however, to the thin gold chain hanging from the centermost ring of hooks, and to a crystal about the size of my middle finger, mounted into a simple clasp.

The white light that was being given off by the crystal pulsed as I stood there looking at it, and I was certain that this was what had been calling to me from the darkness. Whatever this was, just being in its presence made my heart want to sing out in joy, and I moved further into the chamber. There were no sigils on the column, and as I looked around, I noticed that this room seemed to be completely free of the sickly green magic that remained back in the corridor. I was certain that I was here to retrieve this crystal and the power that it represented, and I reached out my hand to take it as I came closer to the stone pillar.

"You stupid foolish girl," a voice shouted out in desperation, and in my terror I lunged forward into a roll as I turned to face this new threat. "The goddess take you, Myka. I'd not have thought you to be so abysmally lacking in intelligence."

"Nana," I cried out in surprise, realizing that it was Millicent that stood before me now. "Why are you here, and do you happen to know where we are?"

"I cannot tell you where we actually are, child," she chastised me, and I could sense a deep anger coming from her that was very bothersome. "But why in the name of the goddess would you come here, a center of power for the Betrayer, in the manner that you have? I know you haven't the training, but I thought you'd at least have some sense in your skull not to mess with powers you know not of yet."

"But Nana," I replied, hoping that perhaps she could explain why she was so mad. "Kelli, Kass, and I were at the circle together, and then we fell asleep after Kelli's spell. I think this crystal was calling to me, and drew me here to see it for myself.

"No, child! Do not touch it," Millicent cried out when I turned to gesture at the crystal while giving my explanation.

Her warning came just moments too late, because when my gesture brought my hand near enough to its otherworldly shine, it was like a magnet pulling my fingers until I found myself grasping the glowing shard in my hand. Light exploded behind my eyes, and I could hear the rush of many winds, and I felt as if my body was being tossed about with no rhyme or reason. I felt a stinging sensation work its way down my spine, feeling as if I was being stabbed by thousands upon thousands of tiny needles, and then as quickly as it had all began, the sensations of power from the crystal ceased, and I collapsed in a heap at Millicent's feet.

When my consciousness returned, and I was able to open my eyes, I was being carried through the dark and twisted trees of the forest that surrounded the ruin. Overwhelming feelings of love, warmth, and concern for my well-being covered me like a blanket, and I was surprised to see Millicent's face when I looked up. She had me in her arms, and for someone who seemed so old and worn, she was making very good time over uneven ground. She also had let loose the constraints that she kept on her power, letting it flow and crackle around us both as a warning to anyone that might try to stop her.

As I focused on myself so that I could tell if I had been injured or worse, it was clear that, there had been another monumental change to what I was. My connection to the elements of earth and water were still present, and the further we were from the ruins, the stronger and less corrupt both links felt. Entwined with them, however, was an entirely new set of sensations that were like those links in many ways, but wholly different in how they felt.

My link to the earth was a solid and steady presence, very like the ground itself, and it made itself known to me through rhythmic pulses of power. Water, on the other hand, was exactly like its namesake. It was both soft and hard at the same time, and when I felt its flows, it was clear that they could carry you gently along or batter you against the rocks with no remorse at all. Training with Gina in the use of them had really opened my mind to what these powers were, and how I needed to guide them, and I used that training to analyze the new link that I had now formed.

My hearing, which had been impressive before, could now pick up sounds that I knew originated very far away, and each breath I took through my nose tickled my mind with even the tiniest scents that I realized I would never have detected before. As I listened to the wind flow around the two of us while Millicent kept up her pace, it was almost as if I could make out silent whispers from some unseen force, and I strained to understand what I thought was being said. Then she stopped and I finally looked up into her face, which was filled with both worry and fear.

"I need you to hang on tight to me child," she said as she glanced down, knowing I was awake again. "We need to get away from this place, and if you let go you may be lost forever. And may the goddess protect us if she has laid any traps to hinder our way."

I asked no questions of Millicent, but did as she asked, and wrapped my arms tighter around her body and held on to her dress with an iron grip. She whispered a few words, and then I felt the familiar tingle of transport magic settle around us, but after a few seconds I realized something was definitely wrong. This was not the smooth transition from one place to another, rather it was like being stretched in every direction possible while being twisted in knots at the same time. A wave of nausea hit me like a baseball bat and it was all I could do to keep from throwing up in her arms.

Previous experiences with transport, while strange sometimes, were never this bad, and the full realization of the danger we might be in became clear. The tortuous travel that we were being subjected to felt like it was lasting an eternity, but after what was probably only a few seconds and a final snap back into place, Millicent and I were tossed forward several feet where we landed in a tangled heap. I scrambled up to make sure she was ok, once my senses had calmed down from the journey, and from what I could see, she was as shaken up as I was, but was none the worse for wear.

"I am fine child," she said to me as I helped her stand while she brushed the dirt off of herself. "I have been buffeted harder than that without injury, and right now we need to keep moving. We are close, but we must hurry."

"Where are we," I asked, but when I looked around I realized that we were somewhere in the forest near the clearing. "Never mind, I know this place."
