She turned back to me and suddenly it dawned on me what was happening. Debs and Bill in the house, Debs called Jen away. Debs had supplied me with Vitamin V; Sara nowhere to be seen for some time but unexpectedly arriving - and just like that, suddenly she's naked with me.
"Sara," I began, shaking my head, "We can't.... I can't... do this" Sara leaned forward putting her hands on my knees and slid forward off the seat toward me, her hands running up my thighs. Her mouth was slightly open, her lips moist. It was all I could do not to reach out with my own hands and caress her body.
"Why not?" she asked softly, sliding her hands around to my hips, not quite reaching my naked butt as she talked. Has her voice ever been that sexy before this moment? flashed through my mind.
"Because I'm too old for you, for one. Because you haven't even been an adult for a year; and no matter what you and your mother think, I can't do it."
"But if I hadn't been an adult for just a little while would you do it?"
"But you have been, which makes it a moot point." She slid back into her seat, leaning back. I could just see the tops of her breasts floating in the water, completely unsupported but just as firm as they had been earlier in the day. Sometimes I can be really dense, and this was one such time. I just looked at her, uncomprehending, trying to figure where she was going with this.
"July 15th," she repeated, but it still meant nothing to me. "As of 20 minutes ago it's my 19th birthday. I'm old enough and we have Aunt Debs permission. I want you to teach me how to make love."

OGHMNWalmost 4 years agoI recall reading and scoring this story of your around 2014. However, I had not joined Lit. at that point so I was unable to or didn’t know enough how to comment. This was and always be a Great Erotic story. You have deep to your characters in all of your stories. I enjoyed rereading this chapter to refresh my memory. After having read several of your wonderful stories the way you link past and present stories and characters is fabulous. The so-called “age of consent” has definitely increased in most locations over the last 100 years or so. Perhaps as lifespan has increased the need to start life at an early age has been mitigated? I don't know, but world laws, almost universally, now require that we deny the sexuality of people who have reached puberty until they are at some arbitrary age, at least between them and someone older than (usually) 18.
Several years ago, we visited the “Laura plantation” (spelling?) near New Orleans. “Laura” inherited the plantation, along with its slaves, at the age of (if I remember right) 13 and operated that plantation for years before selling it. The part that I remembered which pertains to this discussion was that on one display it said the average girl/woman in that area, at that time (1700’s), had her first baby by the age of 12 and averaged 12 babies by the time she was 25. Combine that with the quotation from Wikipedia “In 1880, the ages of consent were set at 10 or 12 in most states, with the exception of Delaware where it was 7.” (SEVEN!!!! OMG) Translated, this says that in the United States it is only in the 20th / 21st century that we try to prohibit sex between people who have reached puberty. (Don't get me wrong, I am not arguing for or against this, I am just stating facts.)
Although I do disagree with your evaluation about the age of consent worldwide. The vast majority of states and countries have an 18-year-old age limit for consensual sex between someone “much” older and someone under that age. The age of consent for consensual sex between those of similar ages (EG:15 and 16, or 14 and 17, but not 19 and 13) is indeed quite commonly less than 18. In the United States and its trust territories, “the age of consent” (a phrase that is commonly not found in the actual laws) between older and youngercpartners, is the age of 16 in 19 states, 17 in 6 states, and the age of 18 in 29 states – 53% being the vast majority of the locations. Looking at the data worldwide, I didn’t tally those results, but it is quite similar. Although there are exceptions, most of the time any "age of consent" under the age of 18 is only for people of approximately the same age.
Now, as for the business of Sara being “19”, read on McDuff! You observed what I had hoped you would observe, and I think you will find the anomaly explained in Part 2.

LenardSpenceralmost 4 years agoHi BenLong, No, in 6 out of 7 continents it is NOT illegal to have sex under 18. Most Western countries, with the sole exception of the United States, the age of consent is either 15 or 16. (Actually lower in Eastern countries but we won't tackle that!) However, to work in the Sex Industry requires the person to be an adult. ie 18 years of age. Then they can sign contracts etc. To avoid legal issues Literotica has placed the minimum age for sex acts between adults to be 18. That's fair enough. No Lolita stories! LOL. So this business of Sara turning 19 is even more strange. As an adult at 18 she can obviously marry without needing parent's permission and, of course, definitely have sex.
