"I...," interrupted by the shrill ring of his cell phone in his breast pocket.
"Damn," he said grabbing the phone and looking at the caller ID, "Edward, I'm sorry, I got distracted," he said, listening to his friend's response. "Very funny," he pulled away from Alena, casting a meaningful look of regret to her before walking out of the bedroom, "Tell them to be patient. I'm on my way."
