I have begun with this story, and since you ask for feedback, rest assured I gave you five stars. I began with Ch. 3, but it read all by itself and with integrity. Very nicely done -- congratulations.
I wonder if Barbie jumped to a conclusion a bit too hastily? Maybe Laurel received some upsetting news, and Dan was simply comforting her. He kissed her to make her feel better, and their body memory as ex lovers took over to make things look worse than they are? The bottom line is that it was innocent, and Dan still loves Barbiem not Laurel. That said, Barbie's probably correct, and a one night stand with Ron the Alaskan he-man won't do any harm, especially if she keeps it confidential... Yours, JB Edwards
