She drew in a deep breath as he released her mouth. "Spike." she said softly.
"I want you." He said simply.
She looked up into his lust-glazed eyes, searching for something in them that she didn't see. "No, you don't. You just want to get back at Buffy. Or forget about her. Or something. It isn't about me at all." She roughly shoved him away and ran upstairs. Spike sunk to the carpet. Bloody hell! He was starting to fall for her.
