"What time is your flight?"

"Seven thirty."

"International?"

"Yeah."

I looked at the clock, it was four thirty. We had to be out of here in an hour.

"We got get cleaned up." I said.

" This is fucking ridiculous."

She it the speaker phone and dialed information.

"Verison 411, what city and state please?"

"New York, New York"

"What listing?"

"Con- Edison."

"Commercial or residential?"

"Residential."

"Connecting, please hold"

"Tera, calling them is not going to do anything."

"Shut up!"

"Con-Edison, this is Mrs. Jones how can I help you?"

"Hi, Mrs. Jones, I'm calling from 2538 w 72nd in Manhattan, and I was just wondering, WHERE THE FUCK IS MY ELECTRICITY!"

"I can understand your concern, were working on the problem now."

"How soon, will I have electricty?"

"Soon. Is there anything elese?"

"No." click.

"Satisfied?"

"Shut up. Take a shower with me."

We washed up, I got dressed and waited for her in the living room.

"You ready?" She asked

"Wow, you look great."

She wore some denim overalls and a plaid shirt and a pair of horn rimmed glasses.

"This is my nerd look, guys won't hit on me if I look like this."

"It's kind of a turn on for me."

"That's because you know."

We got to Newark Airport about one hour before her take off time. Because of the security, I couldn't go with her all the way in. I said my good-bye's at the luggage check point.

"Give me a kiss jay!"

I leaned over and gave her a long kiss. It felt like the world stopped. The sounds of the airport was drowned out, people seem to stop. Damn! This woman makes me feel things, I just never knew I could feel. "I'll see you in a week."

"Just in time for Jermaine's wedding."

"Oh Joy!"
