"I love you," I grinned as I swiped my thumb across his cheek. "You think I could stay here tonight? What with the early practice I have tomorrow?"
"Sure, that's why you wanna stay," he snorted. "I know you're real motives."
"Better than I do?" I questioned.
"Of course," he said sleepily as his eyes fluttered shut. "Congrats on your game Abbs."
"Thanks," I replied through a yawn.
He threw his hand over my belly. "I love you Abbs."
"I love you too." And with that my eyes closed in a peaceful sleep.
Disregard no-name; the back story, especially if from personal experience, is what sets the stage for the romance.
Yeah... sorry. It felt weird without the back story and I wrote this on personal experience, so going to state was kind of a big deal for me. Food for thought, I'll remember it for next time though! Thanks
