"Only if you give me as good a bachelor party night as I gave him," I joked and teasingly groped him back. We looked each other with a desire we knew was not going to be fulfilled that day...or possibly ever...but I could have given in to the idea of 'one more time' with Jeremy very easily.
Before our urges took over, he raised from the couch and said, "It's probably best if I am not here when he gets back. Stay in touch and let me know how it's going...even though I will probably be able to tell from how he acts at work."
As he headed for the door, I thought to ask one final question. "Is it OK if I tell him about you and me, Jeremy?"
He stopped as he opened the door and turned towards me. The last words came hard to my ears. "Sure. It might be good for him to know that you have someone willing to love you like you deserve waiting in the wings." He added a wink to his smile and then closed the door behind him.

Anonymousalmost 4 years agoI loved that Derek finally allowed himself to just let loose and make love to Brad! The sex they shared along with all the emotion and love was amazing! Such a very long time in coming. I think these two best buds have always been in love! It just took them going through so much to find there way together. It seems Derek has been doing some soul searching, or is he just playing the game and evening the score after Brad left him with Blue balls a few weeks ago! Makes you wonder if Brad could have avoided all this drama if he grew some balls and did what he finally did with Derek the night he finally stood up to him! I think these two ave I like to think Derek has finally realized the huge selfish mistake he made not allowing things to go all the way with Brad before he ended up marrying the Spoiled Lacy!!
I am having a hard time deciding if this is all because Brad never really shared how in love he was with Derek when he had that chance so many times in the past! All I can say is I hope Derek is being real and honest this time, or nothing has really changed!
I love and admire the way that Jeremy has handled all of this! He is such a class act! I cannot imagine him dealing so well with what just happened with the two best buds finally making love! I am sorry to say that handling this kind of betrayal would have brought out the ugly green monster in me! If Brad and Derek really do end up together, and I am still not sure that will be, they both owe Jeremy for bringing it about! He is in the cupid role now!
Jeremy's statement that he loves Brad enough that he wants him to be happy first and foremost, even if it means loosing him to Derek is the most beautiful thing in this entire story so far and what true love should always be about! Jeremy is my favorite character in this story now... by far! Wish I could find someone just like him!! One more chapter, fuck if I even have a clue what I even want to see happen now!!!

bencoyoteeover 8 years agoThe bumpy road of Derrick's married life definitely adds a most intestine twist to the story and Lacy we learn is not so meek and mild.
Thus author knows how to inject a new plot twist that keeps reader hanging on to thus secret gay life roller coaster.
Anonymousover 10 years agoI don't like Derek enough for him to end up with Brad. I don't like Brad enough for him to end up with Jeremy. I'm on team Jeremy, who's sensible and honest. To him I'd say, move on and leave those two to their soap opera drama devices- Derek is a user and Brad feeds off of the attention!
