The next morning, I awoke to find a guy in the kitchen whipping up an incredible breakfast. I greeted him to discover his name was Jen, a rather common nickname in his country and learned he was a rather accomplished chef. I went to work confused and unsure what to do. For one thing, I canceled my subscription, hoping that would change something.
When I got home, I found that nothing had changed, other than the gourmet dinner on the table. Damn. Well, what could I do? I ate his liver with fava beans and a nice Chianti.

Reminds me of a New Yorker cartoon: Two men in a lifeboat in the middle of the ocean. One man is smiling. The other man is saying: “Dr. Lecter! Dr. Lecter, what are we going to do? There’s no sign of land, and all we have in the boat with us is [holds up one hand] some fava beans [holds up his other hand] and this nice Chianti!”

Rushed ending. Guilty. I had to get it done by a deadline, and had to end on the assigned quote. I did not have much interest in the story past this point, but have been approached about additional chapters- so that may happen, possibly by other authors. Of course, anyone can track down that grumpy genii and get their own version of the wish!

PaladinInBlackover 3 years agoAuthor... you probably saw it at EMSCA where I originally published it. For whatever reason, Literotica won't let me use the same screen name I use there. I think I mention this under my Biography section- I'll have to check.
