You say that, and the euphemistic (it *was* euphemistic, right?) use of the word "love" made me chuckle, but all I'm seeing in this story, after this chapter, is a bitch in heat. And I'm not personally into bestiality. I love a good furry story, or a nonhuman love story, but that's not what this is. This is a polyandrous harem story, and the fact that it's polyandrous doesn't make it any less disgusting to me than if it were polygynous. But that's my personal preference, of course. Some answers rolling around in my head.
First, thanks for reading, and super-extra-double thanks for leaving serious feedback, I cannot say enough how much I love getting this stuff.
This first bit is 'cause Emily is an unreliable narrator. She doesn't have much/any experience with 'love' beyond what she's seen in media, so she isn't really sure what to call what she's feeling. What she feels doesn't quite match up with the 'one man and one woman go crazy over each other and then they get married' idea that she understands 'love' to mean. I don't think I've ever seen a poly relationship in film or TV that wasn't a terrible reality show or played for laughs.
Ultimately, yes, she is entirely capable of falling IN love. I couldn't tell you if she ever does, or if she falls in love with one person or a couple people, or anything else about the future. Right now, she just loves a bunch of people.
Again, Emily's an unreliable narrator. Lady-parts are remarkably flexible, they stretch far enough to fit babies through them, after all, and still return to normal size. While a larger penis might stimulate a larger area, it's not like she's forever ruined for smaller guys or too spoiled to enjoy them. I've had super-rich dark chocolate before, but the experience didn't forever ruin my enjoyment of milk chocolate.
