Keeping a possessive arm around Monique's slender waist, he guided her into his home. He pulled his lover-to-be into his arms for another heated kiss. The passion in her eyes equalled his. It reassured him that this was as desired by Monique as himself. He swept her into his arms to a tinkling laugh. He had not wanted another since his wife's death, but this elegant, attractive woman had changed that. He grinned. His son's mate was safe and well and they were healing together. He had a beautiful woman in his arms. His family were strong. Life was good.

illwindover 5 years agoI would have really liked to see the end focus on Misha and Daniel. I thought there were a few too many characters that were distracting from their romance anyway. Honestly, having everyone fall in love with everyone else kind of diminished Misha and Daniel's relationship.
If there had been another chapter it wouldn't have really mattered. But as such, I'm wondering why the end of the story would focus on a character that I was never invested in; never really got a chance to be actually.

THIS IS TOO GOOD TO LET IT END LIKE THIS AND NEEDS TO BE A LONG FULL-BLOWN SERIES. PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE STORIES TOO.
