Once outside, Orin realized that there was still a good portion of the night to be had, but that bothered him little. He would sleep there, near the mouth of that dreaded cave, and in the morning he would head back into the village.
He would find a bard, he decided. A new song would be written for him, to tell the tale of how Orin, the son of Orenn the Strong, had chased the Devil out of Dunnidale, and it would be a grand song indeed.
