If I was Jace, I would have walked out when I walked into Amy's apartment and saw both Amy and Chloe. This is another blindside, where the women thought they knew what a man needs, and Jace would have seen that.
In the end, the last paragraphs took a decent story, and dumped it. I am going to assume that chapter 4 is the final chapter of this dumpster fire.
