A pleasant evening breeze blew through the open windows of Cody's truck as they traveled along the road, drifting lazily over their skin and playing through the strands of their hair. Completely content to cruise toward their destination, Cody drove in a way so that the needle on the speedometer didn't go past forty miles. Erica, on the other hand, was not quite as content with their driving speed, and was more than a little impatient for them to reach the RV Park.
She'd made the suggestion for them to spend the night at Cody's apartment, but having yet to sleep over at Erica's, he'd seemed more interested in driving out to her place instead. Wishing to avoid traffic on the freeway, Cody had chosen to take the street, and they were now traveling along a quiet road that seemed to endlessly stretch before them. With few cars traveling the same length of pavement, it seemed likely that Cody would drive the car at a quicker speed, but to her disappointment, he made no attempt at all.
It wasn't like her to be so impatient, but the erotic experience she'd shared with Cody in Jacob's bathroom had really whet her appetite, and left her deeply longing for more.
The images which played in her head were entirely of an erotic nature, and every time she recalled the memory of Cody's head being buried between her legs, she felt a strong pang of lust shoot through her body. To say that she was horny would be putting it lightly, and there was nothing she wanted more right now than to have him satisfy her sexual hunger.
Perhaps picking up on the strong vibes she was emitting, Cody briefly glanced away from the road and gave her one of his deeply seductive gazes. This resulted in a quickening of her pulse, and as his hand came to rest on her thigh, she felt a tightening in her loins.
She wondered if his desire for her was as strong as what she felt for him, and if so, why didn't he drive at a faster pace? Glancing at the speedometer, she saw that the needle still hadn't passed the 40 mph mark, and she emitted a little sigh, fidgeting slightly in her seat. Cody offered her another glance, lips curling into a little smile as he took note of her body language.
"A little impatient, are we?" He asked.
"Maybe a little." She glanced over at him as he offered a chuckle. "Why are you driving so slow, anyways?"
"I don't know. Just thought it'd be nice to cruise."
"I can think of something a lot more enjoyable than cruising." She reached a hand out and placed it on his lap, then offered his thigh a firm squeeze.
"Sure am. What about you?"
"Of course. Nothing new there." A small smile crossed his face.
She returned it with one of her own, then said, "From the way you're driving, it seems like you're in no hurry to get to my place."
"Just trying to build the anticipation. It makes the payoff a whole lot sweeter."
"You've got a point there." Resting her head against the back of the seat, she emitted a little sigh as Cody's hand slid up and down her thigh.
Erica's enjoyment of the presence of Cody's hand, however, was shortly lived, as he removed it from her leg to answer his cell phone. As he glanced at the screen his brows lightly furrowed, then he shook his head in a way as if to convey his disinterest in speaking with the caller. Curious as to who it was, she decided to ask.
"Nobody important." He put his cell phone back down, then allowed his hand to once again rest on her thigh.
His vague answer made her want to inquire further, but not wanting to come across as prying, she decided against it. "So what'd you think of the party?"
"It was okay. Kinda boring, but our naughty little moment made up for it." He briefly averted his eyes from the road to offer her a lascivious glance.
Feeling a surge of desire course through her, she said, "Mmm, it was nice, wasn't it?"
"Only nice?" The hand on her leg slid further upward until his fingers met with the moist warmth between her thighs.
"You're right, nice isn't the word for it. Amazing is more like it." Glancing at his face, she noticed the corners of his lips tilt into a pleased smile.
They drove along in comfortable silence for awhile, simply enjoying the presence of each other. Then after about five minutes had passed, the sound of a ringtone cut through the stillness. Releasing a huff of breath through his nose, Cody reached for his cell phone so he could check the caller ID.
Noticing the expression of agitation on his face, she found herself very interested as to who was trying to reach him, but guessing that he wasn't interested in sharing with her, she decided to remain silent. As she'd expected, he didn't answer the call, and after setting the phone back down, Cody steered the car towards an upcoming exit, leading Erica to wonder about their destination.
"I thought you were spending the night at my place. Why are we pulling off the freeway?"
"Just have to swing by and grab something from my apartment. It'll only take a minute, then we'll be back on the road."
"What do you need to pick up?"
"Just some medication."
"I didn't know you had to take medication. What kind of pills are they?"
"Oh." As they exited the freeway and pulled onto the street, she glanced out the window at the passing scenery. Then after a bit of time passed, she turned her head and looked back at him. "So what happens if you don't take them?"
"I'd probably develop blood clots, and my heart wouldn't work as well. Why?"
"Just wondering." Leaning her head against the back of the seat, she silently studied his face.
Hoping to ease her mind a bit, Cody offered a few reassuring words. "Nothing to worry about, I just take them as a precaution." He then grabbed hold of her hand and brought it up to his mouth, gracing the back of it with a kiss.
Giving a little nod, she couldn't help feeling worried, but knowing it would do no good, she decided to push the negative thoughts aside and change the subject to something less troublesome. "So what'd you think of Jacob?"
"He seems okay. A bit of a showoff, though."
"How is he a showoff?"
"He took you and that other girl to go see his Corvette, didn't he?"
"Yeah, but it's not like he volunteered. He only did it because of a request."
She waited for him to say more, but when he didn't, she decided to speak. "So who was that lady you were talking to?"
"Which one? I spoke to a few."
She playfully scoffed, then gave her response in a voice laden with sarcasm. "Of course, what a silly question. Guess I should have known you'd be occupied by multiple women while I was gone."
"It wasn't like that. I just had a friendly chat with a few different people."
"And they all happened to be female."
He shrugged and said, "Yeah, but it's not like I approached them. They came up to me."
She smiled and lightly shook her head. "That's the last time I leave you alone at a party."
"I came and left with you though, didn't I?" His fingers moved along her inner thigh, tenderly stroking the sensitive skin there.
"Sure did." A delicious shiver danced along her spine in response to the feel of his fingers.
"So which woman were you wondering about?"
"She was blonde and really tiny. Couldn't have been more than five feet."
"Oh, her." He turned the steering wheel slightly to follow a curve in the road. "Her name is Hilary. She's a casting agent."
"Okay." She allowed a moment to pass before once again speaking. "So what did you guys talk about?"
"Hollywood stuff, mostly. She mentioned a few upcoming projects she thought I'd be good for."
"Films or TV shows?"
"Interesting. What kind?"
"Body wash." As a snicker passed Erica's lips, Cody gave her a curious glance. "I say something funny?"
She shook her head lightly in amusement. "Obviously she would cast you in a part that requires removal of your shirt."
He gave a slight shrug. "I don't see any problem with it."
"Neither do I." She studied him for a few moments with a little smile on her lips. "So this might be the start of a whole new career for you, huh?"
"I doubt it. It's just one commercial, no big deal."
"Yeah, but who knows. This commercial might lead to a TV show or film."
"I guess it's a possibility, but it's not something I'm trying to make happen. I'm perfectly happy with my current job."
"Well just in case it does work out, please don't go all Hollywood on me." She offered him a playful side glance.
Cody emitted a light chuckle. "Trust me, that would *never* happen."
"It better not." She stroked his thigh softly, then sensually coasted her palm toward his crotch.
"Better be careful with those hands." He shifted slightly as her fingers came in contact with his denim clad manhood.
"Why, you don't want me to play with it?"
"I'd love for you to, but stroking me off while I'm driving probably isn't the best idea."
"Then why don't you pull over?" Her fingers toyed with his zipper, eyes meeting his in a sensual gaze.
"Seriously?" His brows lifted in surprise, and as they came to a stoplight, he took the chance to stare her deeply in the eyes.
"Sure, why not? It looks like there's a quiet little back road up ahead. Make a right onto it, and we'll have plenty of privacy." Briefly casting her gaze downward, she noticed that his swelling erection was straining against the fabric of his jeans.
"You're in such a naughty mood tonight." His eyes danced with curiosity and excitement. "What's gotten into you?"
"I don't know. I guess it was our little encounter in Jacob's bathroom." The memory of it sent a jolt of arousal through her. "You have *such* an amazing tongue."
His lips tugged upward. "And you have a delicious pussy. I just love eating you out." The tips of his fingers pressed up against the fabric of her panties, lightly brushing back and forth against her fabric clad pussy lips.
"Mmm..." She leaned in closer to kiss him, but before her lips could even touch his, the sound of Cody's ringing cell phone once again filled the air.
A sound of irritation passed Erica's lips as he pulled away from her to answer his phone, and as he glanced at the screen, she heard him give an exasperated sigh.
"Okay, who is this that keeps calling?" Her voice was rife with suspicion.
"Nobody you need to be concerned about." The phone emitted a little noise as he shut it off, then he set it back down in one of the drink holders.
"Okay, so what exactly does that mean?"
"It means it's not something you need to be worried about, okay?" As the light turned green, Cody pressed on the gas and the car once again began to move forward.
She couldn't help picking up on the sound of agitation in his voice, and found herself more eager than ever to uncover the identity of the caller.
"This is the third time your phone has rang in the last five minutes. You've refused to answer it each time, and you're telling me I don't need to be concerned? Think about what you're saying, Cody."
Keeping his eyes locked on the road in front of him, he said, "It's this girl I used to know. We didn't have a serious relationship or anything, we just kinda dated."
"Kinda dated? So was it like a friends with benefits type situation?"
He blew out a little sigh. "I told you about her before."
"Well you're gonna have to refresh my memory, because I really don't remember."
"We used to live in the same apartment complex. We only hung out for a couple of weeks before I found out she was married, so I broke it off with her. Then she started stalking me, and I ended up having to move to another place." He paused for a moment to allow her to respond, but when she didn't, he once again spoke. "Back when you and I first started dating, I told you all about this woman. Don't you remember?"
"Yeah, I remember. But why is she calling you?"
"I don't know. I have no idea how she even got my new number. I changed it seven months ago."
"Well aren't you curious?"
"As to how she got your number, and why she's calling you."
"Well I already know why she's calling me, and yes I am curious as to how she got my number, but it's not gonna make me answer the phone."
Offering no response in return, she cocked an eyebrow and simply stared at him. Feeling the intensity of her gaze, Cody briefly glanced at over at her. "So what, you don't believe me?"
"Did I say that?"
"No, but you didn't have to. I can see it in your eyes."
Choosing to remain silent, she glanced out the window and focused her attention on a hot pink Cadillac that was driving along the road beside them. The last thing she wanted was to come across as a nosy type of girlfriend, but what else was she to do?
Simply sit there and act as if it didn't bother her to watch him ignore successive phone calls? A few moments passed where there was nothing but tense silence between them, then finally Erica's voice filled the air.
"Look Cody, my issue isn't so much that this chick is contacting you, it's the fact that you were being secretive as to who she was. Not only that, but you refused to pick up the phone."
"Why should I? I want nothing to do with her."
"Yeah, I get that. But you have to understand how it appears through my eyes. Your phone has been ringing nearly nonstop for the past five minutes, and you've refused to answer it. I had to question you twice before you finally admitted it was a girl, and now that I know who she is, I can't help being a little curious as to why she's so eager to get in contact with you."
"I've already made it clear that this woman is a stalker, so it's pretty obvious why she's continuously calling me. Just what exactly are you still unclear about?"
Feeling a little stung by his sharp tone of voice, she crossed her arms over her chest and stared straight forward. It was beyond her why Cody was acting irritated, because she hadn't done a thing to him. If anyone had the right to be annoyed, it was her, and she certainly didn't appreciate him speaking to her in that way.
Just less than ten minutes ago, she'd been incredibly horny and eager to spend a passionate night making love to him, but now all that she felt was little more than anger and annoyance. Completely turned off by his behavior, she was seriously considering having him simply drive her home, then return to his own apartment for the night.
The tension between them was so thick, it was nearly smothering, and as Cody pulled the truck into the gated parking lot behind his apartment, Erica kept her gaze focused on the view beyond the window. After pulling into a space and putting the car in park, he cut the engine, then sat there with her in complete silence.
Neither of them wanted to be the first to break free from pride, so they both sat there for an awkwardly long full minute. Then finally, realizing how ridiculous it was to sit in utter stillness with darkness surrounding them, Erica decided to speak.
"I think we should just forget about hanging out tonight."
"You don't want me to sleep over at your place?"
"Well obviously we aren't getting along very well. And I really don't appreciate the way you've been speaking to me."
"What do you mean? All I've done is try to explain about the phone calls, so what exactly did I do wrong?"
"It was the tone of voice you used. Towards the end of our conversation, you were staring to get snippy with me."
"No I wasn't."
"Yes, you were."
For a few moments he said nothing in response, then finally he offered some words. "I don't want to fight with you, Erica. So what do I have to do to make things right between us?"
"An apology would be nice."
She gave a nod.
"See, this is exactly what I'm talking about. You can't even admit when you're wrong."
"I don't even know what I did." His voice was filled with exasperation.
"I already told you. If you can't remember, then just forget it." She directed her attention away from him and stared out the window.
Cody gave a little sigh, then unbuckled his seat belt and leaned in closer to her. Cupping her face in his palm, he gently turned her head so that her eyes met his. Then he tenderly brushed his thumb over her cheekbone, looking deep into her eyes as he did it.
"I'm sorry, okay?"
She nodded, feeling herself instantly melt beneath his sensual touch.
"And I want you to know that I wasn't trying to hide anything from you. I would never lie to you, Erica."
"I know." Her voice came out soft, nearly a whisper.
"I love being with you, so the last thing I would ever want to do is hurt you. You know that, right?"
"Yes." Enraptured by the beauty of his dark eyes, she lost herself in his gaze.
Their faces gradually moved closer to each other, lips drawing nearer as if controlled by a magnetic force. As he continued to caress her face, her eyes became half-lidded, a soft sigh escaping her lips as he allowed his free hand to roam beneath her dress.
"Let me stay over tonight." He pressed a soft kiss to her lips, then pulled back to once again look her in the eyes. "You want me to make you feel good, don't you?"
As he pressed two fingertips against her lace clad sex, she emitted a light moan, feeling a deep and urgent ache build between her thighs. "Mhmm." There was a huskiness to the way she said it, and as his lips found hers, she happily succumbed to his dominating kiss.
After a deep, lingering embrace, their lips parted to take in the breath that they'd lost. Deeply aroused by the hungry kiss they'd shared, Erica found herself greedily wanting more, and as Cody removed his hand from the heat between her legs, she released a sound of disappointment.
"Just gonna grab a few things from my apartment. Be back in a bit, okay?"
She gave a nod in response, and after giving her one last peck on the lips, Cody opened the car door and got out. She watched as he headed for the security door, and upon reaching it, punched in the code to open the door.
Once he was out of sight she settled her back against the seat, impatiently awaiting his return. Noticing that he'd left his cell phone in the car, she thought about turning it on to see if he'd received another phone call.
Her urge to do this didn't stem from distrust of her lover, but rather from a curiosity to know more about this woman who was relentlessly pursuing him. So despite her feelings of guilt about snooping through his phone, she picked it up and pressed the button to turn it on. The phone emitted a melodic chime, followed by the illumination of the screen as it offered a welcome message.
As the display screen loaded, the phone vibrated in her hand, then emitted multiple chimes to alert her of text messages received. Amazed to see that he'd received eight texts and three voicemails, she clicked the button to open the first text message.
*It's Natalie. Please call me. I really need to speak to you.*
She then opened the second text, which proved to be even more urgent than the first.
*Husband found out about us. Really need you to call me. IMMEDIATELY*
Thinking back to what Cody had told her about this woman, Erica recalled that he had mentioned her being married. Suddenly realizing that this was far more of a serious situation that she ever could have imagined, she wasted no more time in finding out more.
After pressing the button that gave her access to the mail box, she eagerly followed the prompts that the automated voice gave her, then nervously waited for the first message to play.
