Click here"Hey, Jas how are the readings?" Dr. Eiansaur yelled to his assistant behind a wall of screens, she and two others kept careful eyes on the screens.
"Looking good sir, the arms are spinning at optimum speed, power and gravity are in the green and we have the coordinates set where ready at anytime," a beautiful blond yelled in response smiling in glee and anticipation.
"Then let's start the experiment with time travel," Dr Eiansaur said into a microphone, when he pressed the red button a vacuum sealed tempered glass jar dropped into large purple bluish orb with a spinning center.
As the jar touched the liquid like orb the jar vanished, after a few tense moments a portly man dressed in a security vest came in with an ancient looking jar, "sir just as predicted it appeared in the dig site and still looks intact and unbroken," Patrick said as he handed the brown jar to the Dr. Eiansaur.
As the Dr opened the jar a hiss of air sucked into the jar as the seal broke, the doctor smiled and pulled out a rolled up laminated piece of paper that had one word written on it, 'SUCCESS' everyone in the room jumped in excitement and happiness as they congratulated each other.
After a few moments everyone went silent as the orb pulsed shaking the room more and more as the time between pulses lessened, everyone stared in horror as the orb suddenly exploded outward knocking everyone down and throwing them back.
After a few moments Harold Eiansaur opened his eyes groggily as Jasmine shook him, his muddled mind noticed a difference but couldn't quite place it, "Thank God you're awake," Jasmine said in a relieved tone, "Here I'll help you up," she said as she helped Harold stand.
"Thanks, what happened? Where's everyone else?" Harold asked as he balanced himself against the desk.
"Shaken, you where the last to wake up and I think we have a theory as to what happened," Jasmine said bringing Harold a chair, "Here sit down, and don't panic ok," Jasmine said as she sat across from him and lifted her shirt to reveal her belly, "Notice anything missing?" She asked him.
"No, nothing changed as far as I can tell," Harold responded as he looked around and noticed that Patrick was gone, "Where's Pat? He was just here?"
"Oh Pat is with everyone else, they've all gathered in the main lobby," Jasmine said as she grabbed his left leg, "Look what you have now," Jasmine said sounding slightly Annoyed.
"How! That's not possible! What?" Harold said as he stared at his flesh and blood leg, "I lost that leg ten years ago, how is it back?" Harold then lifted his shirt and saw that he now had his athletic body from fifteen years ago, Harold stood up quickly and rushed to the reflective panels along the desks and stared in shock, his salt and pepper hair was now it's full black luster, the laugh lines around his eyes were now gone smoothing the skin around his vibrant blue eyes, and a small but strong nose, "By God I'm young again, I have to be what mid thirties now?" Harold said to himself and he examined his face and pulled at his skin or pinching it.
"Your not the only one sir, My body is that before I had my little Michael, My c-section scar is gone so are my stretch marks and as a bonus my whole body is perky," Jasmine said giggling, then cleared her throat, "Sorry sir it seems like I was giving a body from when I was in college, back then I was a bit more air headed," Jasmine said embarrassed.
"Really? I thought that was a personality trait rather than a physical one," Harold said as he walked toward the exit, "Let's go to the lobby and meet with everyone, I'm curious as to what everyone looks like now," Harold said as he held the door open for Jasmine.
"Ummm, it is a physical trait cause when I got pregnant in college they found out I had a stunted brain development, I got treatment for it and it helped me to 'grow' my brain," Jasmine explained as she giggled airily and blushed, "This is going to be so annoying," she muttered under her breath and she sighed.
"Don't worry, it's not that bad you still have all your memories on how to do things right? We can help with the treatment here if need be," Harold said as he walked around the twisting halls, as he came to the elevator he noticed it was running, "How is that running we should be on auxiliary power after the explosion."
"Yes, but it's like I'm trying to read a book through the foggy glass, it's hard and a little disorientating," Jasmine sighed while lightly smacking her forehead, "I hope this isn't like forever," She said then made a disgusted sound, "I'm sorry about that Sir, and it seems the facility is running at full capacity, but ummm, oh right we have no internet but we can still access our online database," Jasmine said as she grunted in annoyance at her own speech pattern.
"Interesting I wonder why," Harold said as he walked into chaos, he stared in shock as everyone was yelling and screaming at Patrick and some other guards who haven't changed much unlike Patrick who looked like he belonged in highschool with his tall but muscular frame reddish brown hair and his bright green eyes, "Hey Pat you look good, and why is everyone panicking nothing seems wrong," Harold said to Patrick.
"Hey sir, that's where you're wrong things are bad we can't leave the dome and we couldn't contact anyone outside but what people are panicking about the most is that," He said pointing to the car lot where a large group of squat reptile like creatures with large sails on their backs were laying down and sunbathing.
"Oh...my...god, those are Dimetrodon angelensis one of the most well known permian period creatures," Harold fell to his knees and stared in shock as he realised they were sent nearly 300 millions years into the past.
"Sir what do we do," Patrick asked Harold quietly.
"I don't know, But I'll figure something out as the CEO of the research institute," Harold said with conviction as he stood up, "We need to survive and find out What happened."
Harold turned to the panicked employees and sighed, "This is going to be difficult."
