Randy Land Ch. 09

Something glittered on the ground. Sue picked up Lolli's pop and watched a golden circle of light color the ground in its shadow. Suddenly inspired, Sue raised the lollipop directly into the sunbeam and tilted it until the reflection landed on Gloopy's ear. She thrust the pop forward and focused the beam into a brilliant pinprick, which she aimed directly into Gloopy's eye.

The creature shrieked supersonically and retracted into itself, clearing the path before them. "Run, Sue!" Billy urged, dragging her by the hand. They sprinted out of the Molasses Marsh, hell bent on putting distance between themselves and the monster. The castle loomed before them, its cloud base suffused with reddish orange light.

But they were not going to make it in time. There just wasn't any way. Gloopy had delayed them too long and the sun would be down soon. "Sue, there's no way to reach the castle in time. Best we save our strength and get ready."

As if knowing that fresh prey was on the prowl, the creatures let loose with premature howls, urging the sun to sink faster. Darkness crept up the facade of The Randy Palace, until the tip of the highest turret winked with orange light and then went dark. Twilight fell into night, lit by the faint glow of a waxing moon.

Billy and Sue tried to run, because it was the only course left to them. But neither of them had much strength left, so they slowed to a crawl. They were drained physically, emotionally, and even sexually.

That is precisely what saved them.

The creatures wasted no time finding the twins. Hulking shadows emerged from the dark, sniffing and snuffling around. There was something familiar about them that Billy couldn't put his finger on.

The first stepped forward into a patch of moonlight. It was Sue. Only not the Sue Billy knew. This one was gaunt, with a haunted look about her sunken eyes. Her skintight top clung around breasts that were deflated somehow. The false Sue lit up when she saw Billy. She ran to him and hugged him tight.

"Billy! Oh, Billy, it is you!" She seemed happy. But there was something else in her demeanor, something punitive and unwholesome. Shadow Sue ran her hand over his chest and started into his eyes. "It is so good to see you." Her voice was low.

She sank to her knees, freed his cock, and sucked it deep into her mouth. She stared into his eyes the whole time, desperate for his approval. She slathered his prick in wet kisses. But Billy did not get hard for her. He pulled her up.

"Please leave me alone," he said simply. The girl walked off, casting hurt glances at him, which he ignored.

A second figure strode forth and Billy braced himself. The Billy that walked into the light was all cock and swagger. He had piercings in his badly bleached eyebrows and a cheesy looking leather trench coat. When he saw Sue he whistled low. He walked in a circle around her, goosing her on the way and laughing.

"Hot damn, bitch, those are swell titties. I bet your snatch is nice and hot too. I like hot snatches. They make my poker feel just fine."

As he said this, shadow Billy was groping Sue's tits and rubbing her ass. He ground his pelvis against her, trying to provoke a reaction. But Sue just stood there, lacking even the energy to tell the cretin to buzz off. He finally shrugged and faded away.

The twins began a slow walk to the castle, holding hands and ignoring the assaults of the creatures.

"You are a lousy lay," shadow Quell told Billy haughtily. "That will teach me to waste time on little boys. Maybe I can find you a coloring book with a clit in it so you know what to look for next time."

"You abandoned us, Sue," said the massive hulk of Sergeant Snoot. "What did we do to anger you?"

"Truth or Deed, Sue. Tell Billy why you're here." Shadow Lolli stalked Sue for a very long time. "The truth hurts doesn't it. Oh, would you rather a deed? I know just the thing..."

The creatures continued testing them for a reaction, but the twins simply walked toward the distant castle until they could walk no longer. Then they crawled. Finally, they sat together in the middle of the path, back to back, and collapsed into darkness as the shrieks and catcalls of the shadows echoed around them.

The Randy Palace

Billy awoke in a cloud, which was actually a bed piled high with white pillows and a fluffy down comforter. He was clad in crisp white linen. Light streamed through stained glass windows which depicted naked angels eating cupcakes. Jewel-toned spots of light scattered across the domed ceiling above him. Billy started at the display for a time, then had the distinct feeling that someone was watching him.

He turned and found himself fixed in the radiant gaze of Queen Libertine. She descended upon him with a rain of kisses -- his forehead, his cheeks, his chin -- before planting her lips firmly on his. Her clean scent thrilled him.

"Welcome to The Randy Palace," she stated simply. "I'm glad you made it."

"Is Sue..." Billy began, but she cut him off.

"Sue is fine. Physically, that is. But that's not really what matters in situations like this."

"What do you mean?"

"Well, Billy, it was the ember of Sue's curiosity that burned your way to us. You are here rightfully, of course, but I doubt you'd be here at all without Sue. Somehow you've been more free in your explorations, and better shielded as a result. Sue's crisis is deeper and more intricate than yours. Untying the knot in her mind has not been easy."

Queen Libertine looked him over and then turned away. "We did all we could to help you face them. Sue has more demons than you, and thus more fuel for the shadows. Not only that, her brain and her spirit and her libido are wound more intricately. Sue has a lifetime of rich sensual pleasure ahead, if she can find her way through the labyrinth. But she has not found her way and I fear for her."

Billy was already leaving the bed, straightening his clothes and looking for the door. "Where is she? Which way!" he said, turning right and left in the hall.

"Wait, Billy, that's not..."

But he was gone, running through the curved hallway and testing each door. "Sue!" he yelled, and heard a faint sob from behind the door at the end of the passage. He ran down the hall to the door, which had two guards posted. "Open it." Billy commanded. "Open it!" The guards looked down the hallway at Queen Libertine, then did as Billy wished. He ran into the room, which was mint green with accents of white and yellow. Sue was curled into a ball on a huge bed with four posters. Billy climbed into it and spooned her, putting his arm around her waist and stroking her hair as she sobbed. He murmured encouragement in her ear and held her tight.

Hours passed that way, with Billy and Sue cleaved as one fetal ball in the island of the bed. The window-shaped patch of sunlight sliced its way across the bed and still Billy held her. Her sobs had long quelled, and she had napped some, but overall she seemed trapped by a horror that loomed in her mind.

The door opened and Karmdee came in with a tray. It held two mugs of warm broth and crusts of bread with butter, as well as a bowl of pitted cherries. She set it on the bedside table and left without a word.

"You don't have to speak, Sue, but you do need to eat. Not only do you need to eat, you deserve to eat. If you think differently, I'll eat all of the cherries and lick the butter from your bread."

In spite of herself Sue snorted, and hope swelled within Billy. He fed her cherries one at a time, then spoonfuls of broth, and soon Sue was eating properly. Billy went to the door and pounded it with his fist. "More fruit, more bread. And figgy pudding. The finest figgy pudding you have!"

Sue giggled at this and Billy shrugged. "I don't even know what figgy pudding is. But if anyone has it, this place should."

Sue got into the spirit of the game. She spoke in a croaking voice so low Billy could hardly hear it. "I should very much like some flan."

Billy pounded the door again. "And flan! And a cream puff!"

Sue laughed hoarsely and the sound flooded Billy with relief.

Before long Karmdee returned with a bowl of fruit salad, more bread, and two bowls of vanilla pudding, She unceremoniously dumped a couple dried figs into the pudding. "You know, figgy pudding takes hours to make, and it doesn't keep. It's also horrible. Be reasonable, will you?" She acted irritated, but she glanced at Sue in relief and shot Billy an encouraging look.

They ate the fruit, bread, and pudding in companionable silence and Sue grew sleepy. She laid back and Billy sang her a lullaby. Sue drifted into a sleep that seemed more restful than the fitful naps she'd had before.

Billy left the room to let her sleep and walked back to his room. It was magnificent but there wasn't much point in sitting there, so Billy walked down the hallway to a sweeping staircase. It was padded with thick blue carpet and led down the tower into a massive foyer. A fireplace at one end burned not logs, but entire tree trunks. Groupings of furniture and potted plants were everywhere. In one particularly plush chair sat Queen Libertine, with some of the girls from the beach nearby.

"You've done well getting her to eat and talk. There is hope yet. But it is not over."

"Sue will be okay. She's pretty tough."

"I agree, Billy, but time is not on your side. You have done something noble, giving your sister hope and love, and restoring some of her self respect. In short, you have given the shadows more fuel. And night follows day just as surely as the world spins in the sky."

"But we're inside! They don't come into the castle, surely?"

"No. But sound carries, particularly to those vulnerable to the insidious voices. These have your sister's scent and will not easily relinquish her."

A cold chill drenched Billy's back and he realized her words were true. In fact, night was falling now and the mournful cries of the shadows were rising outside. The sound caused dread in him because now, instead of incoherent howls, Billy heard words echo in his mind. "You're a lousy lay." Billy flushed and looked at Quell, who gave him a knowing, pitying glance. She came to him and wrapped him in a warm embrace.

"Whatever you heard, it isn't real."

But it would seem real enough to Sue, who even now lay vulnerable upstairs. Billy ran to the bottom of the stairs. He looked up the staircase, torn, and then his face set. Billy rushed to the entrance to the castle, flung aside the wooden brace on the door, and ran into the deepening night.

It didn't take them long to find him. Their hyena-like snarls were articulate this time, now that the shadows had seen into him and read which words would have the most impact. The first one to come to him was Mamma Nutt.

"I only let you grope me out of pity. Young men have no shame. You are like a dog who needs table scraps."

"Bustina, thank you for giving me the most wonderful moments imaginable! I will always treasure you. This isn't you speaking. This isn't the kind woman I know."

The shadow realized it had no traction with him and faded away. Next came Sue, who ran up and shoved him, fury darkening her face. "So what, a suckjob isn't good enough for you? You're a real asshole of a brother. Maybe I'll suck off your new boss at the five and dime, Mr. Flannigan. I bet he'll give me some money if I blow his cock real good. Maybe he'll put a cushion under the pharmacy counter for me."

"You don't need approval that badly. You are going to be just fine. Maybe I have a lollipop around here you can suck on. Go away."

The shadows kept coming, and Billy realized this was all a diversion. The real problem was not the shadows coming at him, but the ones coming after Sue. He spied himself further away, standing at the base of the tower and calling up to the window.

"Hey, sugar tits! I know you can hear me. Listen, I know I came on strong before, but if Billy won't stick it to you, give me a try, huh doll? With a body like yours, you don't have to go through life begging for cock. Come on down, sweetie. I'll show you a good time."

Billy thought hard and fast. He had to dispel this shadow not for himself, but for Sue. He had to do it in a way that was as effective and non-painful as possible.

Billy walked up to his shadow self, who squared off against Billy. "Scram, chump. Can't you see I'm trying to get a piece of ass here?"

"And with a handsome face like that, who can deny you?" Billy exclaimed loudly. He walked up and put his arm around the shoulder of his doppelgänger.

"Ahh, my good friend, I feel I know you better than anyone. True, I haven't fucked you myself. But my right hand has, and it hasn't fallen off yet. Ladies! Oh, ladies! If any of you is listening, and looking for some action, I highly recommend this guy here. Don't let his bad bleach job dissuade you. His farts smell like wet dog and he sweats like a beast. But his dick is average and his breath isn't objectionable. And did you know he can sing? Come on, Billy, serenade her with me. 'When the moon hits your eye like a big piece of pie, that's a moiree...'"

Billy started dancing with himself and the shadow shrugged him off. "I'm outta here, you sick whacko."

Billy looked up to the window and saw Sue looking down on them. She had tears streaming down her face, but she was laughing at the same time. She waved at him and turned away from the window. He watched her go with relief.

Billy heard hissing behind him. The shadows were enraged at him for scaring off their prey. They stopped taunting him and pressed in tight, hellbent on breaking him. They came at him in a semicircle, all of them naked women from the beach of the Sodapop Sea. Billy couldn't help but stare at their pleasing bodies highlighted by moonlight. They pressed their flesh against him and cooed while looking into his eyes with lust. As one they turned, bent over, and spread themselves wide open.

"Oh, I thought you liked us best this way, Billy. Face down in the dirt, mouths shut... just nameless pussies for you to fuck in a row. What do you feel like tonight? Polynesian? Indian? A little black pussy, maybe? Oh, wait, you had black pussy last night didn't you?"

Shadow T.M. spoke up. "You don't remember my name by any chance? Do you just think of me as 'that hot piece of black tail?' Girls, is there any one of us here who Billy hasn't crammed his dick into?"

Some of them started sobbing, and rolled over onto their backs. Their bellies had swelled, and kept swelling, and their cries grew into screams. Several babies writhed from their swollen vaginas and started crying, adding to the cacophony. The girls moaned to their babies. "I'm sorry, sweetie, Daddy doesn't know your name."

The babies writhed in the dirt then wriggled towards him, dragging their umbilical cords behind. Billy stepped back in horror as the babies moaned in misery: "Name me, Daddy. Name me after Mommy."

Billy fell to the ground and the babies clamored over him. Then a starburst of white light split the darkness and sparkles rained across the sky. From the center of the dazzling display came Queen Libertine, holding her wand aloft to drive the shadows away. She reached to him; Billy stumbled to his feet and ran with her into the castle.

Queen Libertine held him up as he trembled, until he was able to stand on his own.

"That was close. You did well, and I think you bought us the time we need. But we must go to her now."

Queen Libertine and Billy ascended the stairs as fast as he was able. They came to Sue's room, knocked quietly, and entered. Sue was sitting in her bed, staring into the sky through the window.

Queen Libertine set Billy into a chair and then turned on some lamps until a warm glow suffused the room. She faced Sue and said gently "It is time for this to end. Look at your brother. Look at yourself. The shadows will consume one or the other of you if you don't find some resolution."

"What is she talking about, Sue?" Billy asked. "Why did the shadow Billy say 'if I wouldn't stick it to you?' What is going on?"

Sue looked at Billy and her lip trembled. Queen Libertine prodded her again. "Tell him, Sue what brought you here. What was going through your mind at the time?"

Sue blanched and then flushed in shame. "I was in a foul mood because I was leaving for college soon. The house, the town, it all seemed different. Smaller, somehow. And I was about to leave Billy for the first time ever. We've been together since we were born."

"It is assuredly difficult. What transpired then?"

"Billy suggested we go to the woods. We used to play there when we were kids. I saw it as my opportunity. Something has been weighing on me for a long time. It has turned my insides into a knot. I am really worried, and curious, about sex. So when we went into the woods it seemed like a good time to talk it out with Billy."

"I see. This is very good, Sue. You are starting to get to the heart of the matter."

Billy seemed surprised at this last comment, because he'd been with Sue the whole time and everything she'd said had been accurate. But Queen Libertine was not satisfied, which made Billy even more curious.

Sue looked at her hands. "I cried because I couldn't go through with it, though it was eating me up so."

"Go through with what?" Billy asked with mixed alarm and curiosity.

"Tell him, Sue. Don't make me get my truth light out."

"I didn't intend to ask you about sex. I wanted..." Sue sobbed and raised her eyes to his, her face shining with tears. "I wanted you to show me about sex."

Now that she'd said it, it was like a levee had burst inside her. Sue fell back into the bed and moaned, tears falling freely as she sobbed. Billy felt hot tears on his own cheeks. A well of empathy rose in him and he cried, climbing into the bed and clasping her hands. It took a few minutes for Sue to compose herself.

"I haven't been with any guys because all I can think about is Billy! I need him so badly, but I can't have him. It is wrong, and I know he doesn't harbor the same lust that I do. I am so... depraved. This is not an errant case of puppy love. This is truly despicable, unwholesome sin in my heart."

Queen Libertine listened impassively. When Sue had finished confessing and Billy had stopped crying, she spoke. "So you're in love with your brother, or at least desperately lusting for him, and feel that your lust will hurt Billy. Furthermore you feel that you won't ever find a guy who can replace this lust, and you are doomed to a lifetime of unhappiness and regret? Possibly destroying the relationship most important to you in the process?"

Listening to her own darkest fears being parroted back to her had a chilling effect on Sue. She blanched white and nodded dumbly. Her bloodless lips were pressed into a thin line.

Queen Libertine rooted around and held a small, black orb aloft. "This is my truth light. Hear me now, Sue, and may the light damn me if I utter falsehood.

"You are not in love with Billy. And though your lust is very real, and happens to be aimed at him, it is not for him that you lust. You simply lust, and he is the target. He is safe. Familiar. You have a well of sexual curiosity surging inside of you, and you are looking for a safe way to express it. Billy is the safest thing you know, hence you lust for him."

Queen Libertine saw that her words were having effect and she thundered on. "Indeed, you have passed up opportunities in this land. Your path takes you where you will it. Why have you not gone where you most wish to go? Because your desires run twisted and deep. They run counter to how your society has shepherded you. Instead of embracing your desires, you bury them deep and try to behave. Where has that gotten you, Sue?"

The Queen fixed Sue in her most probing stare. "Would you rather go through life wallowing in misguided lust for your brother, or would you rather explore the thoughts that secretly thrill you and turn your knees to jelly?"
