When she looked up, the man was gone.

Tanya had straightened her clothes out the best she could, and (hoped) she concealed the fact that she was missing a bra well enough. She waited in the hall of Bloomberg's New York headquarters – the friendly receptionist was kind enough to reschedule her interview in light of the adverse weather and closure of bus services in South Manhattan.
"You may go in, Miss Tanya," he gestured.
Quickly adjusting herself again using the front-facing camera on her smartphone as a mirror, Tanya skipped over to the translucent glass door that stood slightly ajar. As she stepped into the office, she eyed the panel of interviewers.
Old man, old woman, young... wait. A suit, a tie... he could be another person entirely.
Tanya was sure that was... was it?
"Hello Miss Tanya," the older woman smiled warmly, "We understand you missed your earlier appointment due to the bus services in Livonia and Sutter closing down."
"Oh, y-yes Ma'am, I'm very sorry about that," she blurted out quickly, smiling back.
"Not to worry, chance would have it that Mr Devin here happened to be in the same predicament," she said gesturing to third, younger man in the panel, "I wonder if you might've chanced upon one another in the subway?"

Good story, kind of predictable
This was a good read, but halfway down the first page I knew what was going to happen.
One of the best
Perfect length with amazing detail.
