Realms of Eden: B4 - First Battle

"What does it mean?" she asked him softly laying her head back on his chest.

"It means," said Thelma, as she covered the pair with a soft blanket, both turned, unconcerned at her presence. "That the warrior has learned his lessons and is fully awake."

She placed a chair beside the pair and sitting in it looked upon them with love and tenderness. The lovers reached their hands out to her and she clasped their joined hands in both of hers and continued. "With the spilling of your blood tonight my dear you have completed the pact that the seals made with Poseidon many, many thousands of years ago. It is perhaps fortuitous that it happened here among the clan because no doubt the story of your coupling is going to be told in the enclaves for thousands of years to come and the Children of Proteus will have great honour among the other clans."

The woman's golden hair sparkled in the dim lights and her green eyes shone intensely capturing the pair's dark brown and dark blue eyes in her gaze. "It means that the balance has been restored." and the lovers looked at her in confusion.

Thelma's hands fluttered a little in front of her and Serenity's voice broke in. "But it also means that the other side now know that you exist, in your entirety. They will be more anxious to accelerate the war and gain what they can before you are fully prepared to meet them in battle."

Chapter 8 -- The Hidden Ones

A soft splash followed by the sound of limbs moving through the water as someone swam towards the beach reached Tzenton's hearing. Stirring gently from his sandy resting site he waited patiently as the mind he felt from the swimmer was familiar. He wanted to see what the man would do.

The swimmer stopped. Tzenton could see him now. The dark haired man was standing in the water up to his waist. A hand beat against the calm surface: hard, hard, soft, hard and drag, hard and drag, soft, soft, hard. The big seal froze and waited. The rhythm repeated. Two barks answered the call and Tzenton added his own loud bark to the air before shuffling down to the water and making his way to the man who calmly watched.

Amadeus, Felicia and Tzenton circled the warrior as he stood watching them. Finally he spoke. "Tzenton, I am ready. Lead me to them."

"I cannot do that yet warrior!" gasped the seal as he floated beside the man. His bright eyes gazed imploringly at the dark-blue ones that returned his intense look.

"The sharks?" asked the man softly, though to Tzenton it was not really a question but an affirmation of the reason.

Tzenton's muzzle and whiskers moved quickly in his distress and before he could answer Felicia nudged the big man in the chest with her snout. Sydney looked down at the large sorrowful eyes that were only a few centimetres from his own. A soft message came to his mind. "I am sorry warrior. We did not mean to keep it from you. The sharks are not only keeping us hemmed in here but they also prevent us from reaching the Hidden Ones. We cannot take you to them until the way is clear."

Reaching his hand out he gently caressed the grieving and sorrowful mother seal. The big female pressed gently against him and Sydney found that he was hugging the big creature firmly to his chest. Feeling the shudders through her body as her sorrow and grief flowed from her. His own eyes filled with tears as he rubbed his nose against the soft fur and in the touch he tried to express his sympathy as well as try to give the female comfort and hope.

Tzenton and his leader Amadeus looked on with mounting disbelief. The strange cuddling pair seemed to glow a soft dark green and the water around them warmed. The figures became blurred to their straining eyes and a small explosion of light blinded the watching male seals. When their vision cleared the man and the alpha female were gone.

On the upper deck of the Majestic two diminutive figures watched the man and the three seals. The brown curly tresses of one of them shook as her head whipped around looking for the man and the seal he had been holding so firmly. The other's lighter straighter hair fell forward across her eyes as her head bowed in understanding. "He has taken her to ease her sorrow, Jennifer," said Serenity. "You will have to go and tell the seals that he will bring her back soon." The curly haired head nodded and her eyes turned back to the two males that were now making their way to the boat.

"Good morning Amadeus, Tzenton!" called Jennifer as the two large seals leapt from the water and onto the deck at the rear of the Majestic.

"Where have they gone?" cried Amadeus as he raised his head to his full height and stared at the woman he knew as the goddess. From his posture Jennifer could tell that the leader of the seal clan was not happy and was ready to fight. It would not matter whether he would win or lose against her, he needed to lash out to try to find the female leader of his group.

"Do not think to fight me!" she cried advancing on the pair. She felt rather than heard the presence of three enormous beings behind her.

"Stand down Marmess, Es, Orial! This is not your fight!" said Jennifer coldly as she watched the big seals heads as they bobbed up and down aggressively.

"Where has he taken her?" screeched Amadeus in fury. He had only just noticed the large creatures behind the small woman. Their presence gave him pause as he quickly assessed that they could snap him in two before he advanced a single millimetre.

Tzenton's head rocked as if he cocked his ears to hear something just out of range. Jennifer watched him carefully as the seal lost all interest in her and began to look in all different directions trying to determine the source of the voice he was sure he was hearing. Amadeus caught sight of him from the corner of his eye and he too turned his head to his young lieutenant. "What is it Tzenton?" he asked harshly.

"I can hear her!" the young seal exclaimed. "She," he paused as his nose wrinkled as if he sniffed the wind. No breeze blew across the deck. "She is laughing!" he finished.

"Felicia has not so much as smiled in the past three seasons!" snapped Amadeus. He turned to look fully at the young seal beside him. "Are you sure it is her?" he asked.

"Very sure, Amadeus!" said Tzenton. His eyes closed and Jennifer saw what suspiciously looked like tears roll from the big brown eyes of the young seal before he turned and leapt back into the water.

"She will be back soon, Amadeus," said Jennifer softly. "The warrior has taken her away to ease her sorrow."

The big seal clan leader prostrated himself on the deck at Jennifer's feet. His eyes did overflow with tears and Jennifer knelt down beside his large head. Caressing his fur softly she felt his trembling. "What is it with Felicia?" she asked gently.

A huge sigh came from the large body and Jennifer felt him touch her mind. Images of the big gentle female tending her pups, twins, a very unusual birth among the seal clans. Then the viciousness of the shark attack that destroyed them both in moments leaving the female bereft but unharmed as the sharks simply killed and left as silently and as quickly as they came. Then another day, a solitary pup swam close to his mother. The water churned and red blood clouded the water. A small body, barely recognisable as the remains of a seal, slowly sank to the gleaming white sand.

Jennifer gasped. The water was barely deep enough for a shark to swim in it. Yet they had attacked and killed Felicia's pup leaving the big female alone again. Felicia had raced after the shark in rage but it had simply swum away from her far faster than the big mammal could follow.

Amadeus lifted his head to look into Jennifer's eyes. "She is touched by the gods. Legend says that her pups will lead the way. Will be the warrior's companions," he paused and shook his head. "The legend is not so clear about that. The best we can interpret is companions as the other is too impossible to consider!"

"Why is that?" Jennifer asked.

"The literal translation is whelp. But the warrior could not!" the seal said in exasperation.

"Anyway," he continued as he lifted himself up further causing Jennifer to rise with him. "It is said that her pups will lead the warrior to the Hidden Ones. The mutants that we spirited away for him over the years. Hidden in a place only the seal clans know."

The little woman regarded the seal thoughtfully. "Amadeus, what sort of mutants are you hiding?" she asked.

Braying softly the big seal gave her a cheeky wink. "The very best of all kinds of creatures," he replied. "Some of them even you would not believe could exist goddess!" Without anything further the seal flipped himself around and with a small splash entered the water.

He turned as he floated and called back to the woman standing watching him. "When the warrior returns with Felicia tell him I will wait for him to signal again."

Jennifer nodded then waved as the animal swam rapidly off back towards where Tzenton waited on the beach.

Felicia sighed softly as the large male above her coupled with her again. His playful nipping on her neck and gentle strokes of his fore flippers sent her body into small trembles. Never had she been so engrossed in the act of mating that this strange creature caused her to be. It was as if she had risen to new heights in her understanding of love and need. Her uterus pleaded with her to accept the large penis of the male that drove incessantly into her. Happily she barked and growled at his playful mating.

When she had heard the call of the warrior in the water off the beach she had not wanted to go to him. An ancient yearning had started in her heart at the sounds penetrating the fog that had surrounded her mind for the past season. The eight beat rhythm had almost driven her insane with its call.

Last night she had found herself on the beach watching the lights on the big vessel that was anchored several hundred metres from the shore. The joyful cries of the warrior and his goddess as they coupled had sent her heart thudding in her massive chest. Instinctively she had beaten out the message with her tail as she edged into the shallow water.

Thrice she had slapped her tail against the water. Softly she heard the reply as the big man had leant over the rail of the boat and slapped his fist against the side. She had barked out a joyful cry and he had answered her. "Come to me in the morning my love!" he had cried in her mind. She retreated from the water and returned to her lonely home among the rocks higher up the beach.

In the early morning she had been waiting for him. When he had asked to be led to the Hidden Ones it had almost broken her heart. The old gods had told the tribe that Felicia's offspring would lead the warrior to them. But alas that could not be now! Her twins, Tarin and Tessa, dead and gone for two seasons as was Zell. Killed by the mindless brutes that still kept them hemmed into a small area around the islands. Her despair stopped her from trying again despite the promise she had made to the blonde woman, Thelma, that she would.

When the warrior had held her she felt his pain and sympathy for her, and something else. His strong arms had held her tightly and comforted her as no other had been able to in the past months. Warmth had rushed through her at his touch and then her mind had been flooded with images. Some of them she could not comprehend but others showed her the love the man had for all things and the fight he would put up to protect them. As he held her tightly she allowed herself to hope then the hope burned brightly like a green glow throughout her consciousness.

Suddenly she found herself swimming in a crystal clear rock pool on an island she didn't recognise. It certainly was not one she had been to before. Beside her swam a large male with incredibly dark blue eyes. His fur was dark, almost black as he swam around her in diminishing circles until his sleek body rubbed against hers.

Shyly she had turned from him. Her emotions bubbling to the surface were almost too strong for her to resist, her only defence was in turning from him. However, she hadn't counted on his speed or the tender stroke of his flipper along her abdomen. The gentle tickle of his long claws had grazed her breasts and a tingling had gone through her body as her slightly open uterus felt his touch. Felicia's clitoris seemed to be supersensitive as she slid through the water. The faster she swam to escape him the more the water rushing over her body warmed her, her blood seemed to pound in her ears.

Finally she spied the bright sand of the beach and with a swift flap of her tail she almost leapt from the water onto the warm white sand. She lay there luxuriating in the feel of the warm sand against her stomach. Sensuously she stretched and rolled. The sudden flick of his warm tongue against her sex was too much, Felicia came. Her lower body convulsed against his muzzle and with urgency she pressed against him until she felt the oversized penis pressing against her opening. Almost barking in desperation she forced herself to relax as his body positioned itself to penetrate her deeply. The protective muscles deep inside her vagina stretched slowly as he slid his large member fully into her and held there. Felicia's mind was full of joy as the big male began to gently bite and stroke her back as his tail began a dance she formerly believed she would not participate in again.

Hours seemed to pass as they mated. It was unlike anything the big female had ever experienced before. His seed seemed to scald her and yet sooth her womb as well. She lost count of the number of times her own body convulsed in pleasure as his stroking, biting and constant sub-vocal words of comfort and love pushed her to climaxes more easily than even in her younger days.

Spent she lay against him as he gently withdrew from her and lay his dark body on the sand beside her. She slept peacefully for the first time in many months and the dreams of blood and silver fins did not come to her. Instead a vision of three pups pressing against her side seeking her nipples to feed made her sigh. If only, she murmured in her mind.

Awaking to find herself still snuggled against his dark body she growled softly at the smell of food close by. Several fish and crabs, freshly killed, lay in a small depression in the sand near them. The big dark male's rumbles of contentment pleased Felicia as she greedily consumed the fare. She offered him one of the fish but his thoughts of her needing the energy gave her pause as she eyed his large body and noted the appearance of his thick penis again as he lazed on his side.

Giving the the seal equivalent of giggling, her short shrill yips and shaking of her upper body was met with low rumbling growls from the male. She wasn't surprised at his joyful rolling towards her until his big body covered her lower half and his insistent movements filled her ready uterus again with his warm flesh.

They coupled for a long time and Felicia enjoyed the encounter as thoroughly as she had done with their first love making. Sadly she realised that this would be over soon and she would need to return to her clan. A soft voice in her mind told her that they would meet again. She was content as his sperm filled her time after time with its heat and volume until green warmth flooded her mind again.

She found herself back in the shallow waters off the seal's home island. The man Sydney stood in the water up to his hips beside her as she floated contentedly beside him. "Look after our children, Felicia," he told her gently as his hands rubbed her soft underbelly.

"I will my warrior," she said softly before swimming off into the deeper waters.

As he watched her swim out to the deeper water Sydney caught a faint whiff of wine and the sound of music. A voice spoke into his mind. "You have found it my friend. Remember the feeling and actions well because they make you the Earth's lover and the warrior complete."

Act 3 A - Preparations for War

Chapter 1 - Mistakes

The blonde haired woman's brow furrowed in exasperation spoiling her lovely features as she reached her hand up to bang the side of the monitor she was working with once again.

"Ouch," squeaked the monitor and she froze startled by the unexpected sound. She glanced around thinking that someone was playing a joke on her but realised that everyone else had gone home hours ago.

The computer had been plaguing her all day with its intermittent problems and she wanted to resolve them before she once again returned to her quarters to spend yet another night alone. "You are beginning to really give me the shits!" she yelled at the blinking cursor in the middle of the screen.

"Sorry," beeped the machine in a sorrowful sounding voice. Again the blonde stared in disbelief at the machine and decided that she was working too hard and needed a break.

She stood up from her desk and turning her tall willowy frame away from the computer started to walk towards the coffee station across the room. "Nice arse!" called the machine. She just shook her head and continued walking.

She suspected that one of the mentally gifted residents of the underground city beneath the Townsville University was playing with her and concentrated on making coffee. Many of the mutants that were finding their way back to Australia were turning up in Cellarium looking for work or following the promise of accommodation given to them by the university. Some of them were very devious in showing their abilities that had brought them to the attention of the government or other enemies. Talents that had gotten them exiled in the first place.

Penny grinned as she recalled a particularly bright little woman that could make inanimate objects appear to walk and move. The woman did it all with her mind but she also made the objects appear to grow arms and legs as well. It was quite amusing to watch new people suddenly grabbing for their lunch box or work station that seemed to get up and walk off the table. Not quite so funny was when it happened to her the first time. Katrina had soon learned that her boss might have her quirks by talking to the equipment around her but watching them walk away was another matter.

Still, Katrina had gone home, along with the rest of her crew, hours ago. The monitor talking to her was something she had to be imagining. The woman stood contemplating her reflection in the shiny silver surface of the splashback for the sink where she finished stirring her coffee. Her red shirt and brown slacks hugged her prominent chest, flat stomach and flared hips. The pants were a little tight, she grinned, at the deliberate mode of dress, enhancing her tight buns that she kept in shape with running and work outs in the gym.

She regarded her face critically and saw her wide blue eyes and long lashes staring back at her. The long tresses of her hair framing her face with her short straight nose and slightly pouting lips.

Fuck what is wrong with me, she thought to herself. You're not ugly, you've got a killer body and yet how long since you had a good roll in the hay?

Two fucking years! she carried on the conversation in her head with herself. Two years since he breezed in, fucked you senseless and breezed out!

And how long has it been since you went looking for anyone? said the voice in her head.

Yeah, so I am waiting for the right one! she answered herself.

No you're not! You're waiting for him to come back and fuck you senseless again!

Oh shut up!

She gave herself a mental shake and returned to the computer she was working on and powered it off and then on again.
