Realms of Eden: Book 5: Hyak Anali

"I would love to Sydney," the woman smiled as she held out a dainty hand across the table to the man. Sydney clasped it warmly and Bonnie grinned in delight as he arranged to meet the woman at her motel later that evening.

"You are as fucking devious as Marlena you little tart!" squealed Alison as she slammed the big dicked toy she wore hard into Bonnie's trembling vagina.

"Did you know it was Freya?" the girl gasped back as she humped her hips against the woman in pleasure.

"Not until she winked at me as she left!" giggled Alison.

"So how do you think the talks went?" she asked after working her hips rapidly against Bonnie's as she tried to drive herself deeply into the wet flesh that squelched so nicely.

"Doing what we are doing about three doors up, Ali," panted Bonnie.

"Do you think so?" she asked amazed that Bonnie would say that. She dropped on to her back as she rolled from Bonnie.

"Listen with your heart Ali. Who does she burn for more than anyone else in this whole cosmos?"

"Enyalius, but she is not the only one," giggled Alison.

"No she isn't, but if I know my husband the chance to comfort a woman who has lost a child, divorcing her ungrateful partner and full of the knowledge that he needs to get his army a distinct advantage he will willingly be led to bed by her hot body and the promise in her eyes."

"But surely he will know who she is once they are in bed?"

"Ah the true brilliance of my master plan, little tart," murmured Bonnie as she snuggled the woman closer to her. "Diana is going to be a very timid and softly, softly woman in bed. She is going to remind Sydney of someone from long ago."

"Who?"

"Diana the Huntress. She who can hit the eye of a sparrow at 50 paces with an arrow, run like a deer and fight like a lioness, but beneath the gentle kisses and soft caresses of an attentive man becomes a docile love maiden. Sydney will recognise her and it will become so much more important for him to set her up in Cellarium and bring Christopher, Mina and Bartholomew to her training classes. In fact I will bet you that we all end up going there, even you!"

"Why Bartholomew?"

"Diana's faithful companion. Never more than a heartbeat from her side. Vicious defender of her honour and the gentlest of lovers. He will stop whining and sulking in Ea's realms and become the warrior that is needed when his old love returns!"

"You're on bitch. If I end up at Mumma's training academy you can fuck me any which way you like for as long as you like. But knowing Daddy he will keep me protected and I will end up tucked away in some corner like a precious china doll!"

"One unable to close her slutty legs after I am through with you tart!" exclaimed Bonnie as she rolled to crush the blonde haired woman to her breast and captured her lips in a long hot kiss that left Alison breathless.

"I think you have sprinkled a bit of Fairy Dust my love," said Alison softly as the kiss broke.

Chapter 5 – Spinning webs and lies

"We'll bat," said Belinda confidently as the coin landed on the ground at her feet showing the head of President Thomas to the two captains and umpires.

"Good luck Bel," said Sydney softly.

"You too hon. Though," she smiled sexily, "I have my own bag of fairy dust today!" She skipped off before he could ask her anything further.

"Fairy Dust be buggered!" he exclaimed. "You just think you have my measure after conning me into a marathon session of sex with you and Thelma last night!"

A giggle came back to him as the woman waved to the stands containing hundreds of "We love you Carmie" banners.

Caveman rapped George Rahnti on the pads with his second ball of the afternoon but despite desperate pleas to the umpire he was given not out. George grinned back at the fired up bowler and nonchalantly practised the defensive shot he should have played instead of the slog he attempted. "Lucky bastard," grunted Caveman as he turned around and headed back to his mark. The next ball flew through to Murray King, landing with a resounding slap as he took the ball at chest height.

Sydney grinned as he watched Glen Shields at the other end of the pitch open his eyes wide in disbelief at the speed the ball had travelled past his big opening batting partner. "Fuck me dead," he said to himself, "What's got the bigger fella stirred up tonight!"

The next three balls were bang on target as Caveman strived for every bit of speed he could muster. The echo of noise from the ball striking Big George's bat as he simply could do nothing else but defend gave the fast bowler little satisfaction. "A fucking wicket would have been better," he cursed as he took his cap and headed towards deep third man.

"Wait up Caveman!" called Sydney as he ran down the wicket. "What's up man?" he asked when he caught up with his opening bowler.

"Not me that's for fucking sure!" the man spat angrily and continued to walk towards his position. Sydney watched him go with more than a little worry.

"You know what's up with Barry?" he asked Dean Paulsen as the man moved into third slip alongside Tim Robbins.

"Um yes, mate. But not now OK?" Dean replied.

"No Dean. He's very upset about something and if he keeps bowling like he is, he will either hurt himself or someone out here on the field. Bel is coming into bat later and as much as I love to win this game I am not going to put him up against her if she is likely to get hurt!"

"It would not be a good idea to let him bowl to Brendan or Abe either, Skip," replied Dean. "I only hope I don't have to take a throw from him over the stumps at any time tonight either. Nor Tim or Simon."

"What the hell is going on!" fumed Sydney as he went back to his position at first slip and waited for Gareth to start the next over.

At the end of Gareth's over Sydney sprinted to Caveman as he walked into get ready for the next over. "Either you tell me what is up your arse mate or you don't bowl again!" said Sydney firmly.

"Fuck you then," returned Caveman and placing his cap on his head he proceeded to walk towards the players entrance and off the field. Sydney waved to Ian Creighton and signalled for the twelfth man to come on.

"Looks like you're up Quicksilver!" shouted Sydney to the man who looked as bewildered as Sydney as he began to give his muscles a quick stretch in preparation to bowl.

"Upset tummy Harry," Sydney lied to the umpire as he walked past him back to his position.

"Looks more like upset husband to me," said Harry quietly.

"You know something that I don't know?" Sydney asked the man quietly as he stopped in his tracks at the older man's comments.

"Sweet mercy Syd, haven't you heard. He caught Brenda with Dean and Simon out on some island yesterday. Apparently Brenda has been seeing a few of the local boys as well."

"Oh I see," said Sydney calmly.

"Anything else I should know Harry?" he asked softly.

"Yeah, Neville and Cassius have disappeared from Fiji. As have most of their team. Make the most of this contest because from what I have heard the Fijian team are a bunch of kids!"

Slowly Sydney looked up towards the players room. Briefly he saw Barry Crawford appear at the windows before he turned his back and moved towards the exit. "Got a little bit of an upset too Harry. Might have to go off for a few." Harry Clements nodded wisely and noted the time in his little notebook as Sydney ran for the exit hurriedly signalling for another fielder.

A few minutes later his fist crashed into Barry Crawford's jaw sending the man sprawling across the floor of the dressing rooms. "You fucking hypocritical bastard!" he screamed as he walked over to pick the man up from the ground.

"You fuck with me and Paul and yet Brenda plays some games with a few of the lads and you get your knickers in knot!"

"She was hiding it from me!" Barry cried as he waited for the next blow to land on his face.

"Does she know about me and Paul?" Sydney screamed at him.

"No but she doesn't need to know!"

"But you had to know about her and Dean and Tim. Have you thought about how childish that is! She still loves you man but even I can tell that you hold back from her. Being the man and the cock for her. Yet you bend over and squeal like a girl when me or Paulie love you! What the hell is wrong with you?

"This whole campaign, if you haven't realised it, is to stop lies and secrets. We want to be who we are and be with who we want to be with. You going off the rails and trying to kill someone with your anger is not good enough!"

"That's the problem Sydney. I can't be a man for her anymore. I love her, but I miss Sonya. She understood!"

"And you don't think Brenda would?" Sydney yelled at the trembling man. Suddenly he wrapped Barry up into his chest as the tough bowler broke down in tears.

"Barry, Barry," he whispered softly. "I am so sorry. For years I held Paulie's secrets too as he held mine when I was being beaten by my step-father. He kept his bi-sexuality from Wendy for so long because he was afraid that she would love him less. When she did find out it was the happiest day of her life. She always thought that Paul was hiding something; drugs, gambling or worse. When he took the opportunity to show her she found she loved him even more."

"Brenda isn't like Wendy," Barry said softly. "I don't think she would ever understand."

"Have you tried to talk to her?" asked Sydney.

"There never seemed to be the right time," Barry moaned as he examined his cut lip in the mirror over the handbasin that Sydney led him to to wash his face.

"You never had to tell me Barry," said a soft voice behind them. "I always knew. Right from the first time we met in Auckland. The love you had for the boys in the team. The way you used to talk about Sydney and how much he inspired you, how much you respected him. I knew that you had the capacity to love both men and women. I just didn't think you would be so angry that I chose to share my love with others as well."

"It was not the sharing that made me angry," said Barry softly as he turned to face his lovely wife. "It was the lies you told when you went off to see them. The secret way you snuck around. They must all think I am some sort of joke that you could do that to me."

"No they don't Barry," Brenda said quietly. "Most of them think that you are too shy to share with them. That you are happy with me being with others but not able to perform with them as well.

"Well at least that is what they thought until your temper tantrum yesterday."

"What else was I supposed to do!" cried Barry. "I find out you are in a motel room on an island and I arrive there to find you being creamed over by at least five guys. Two of them are people I believed were my best mates!"

"Are you upset because they did not tell you about me or because you would have liked to have been the one being creamed over?" replied Brenda heatedly. She turned on her heel and stormed towards the exit before the man could reply.

Barry Crawford collapsed in a heap on the floor and bawled his eyes out as Sydney shook his head slowly in disbelief. Brenda had been spot on in identifying the source of Barry's anger, it was not his wife's actions he was jealous of, it was that he was not part of the loving she was receiving from males that the muscular bowler secretly had crushes on!

"Barry I think you need to go back to your room. I will get Paul to take you. Tomorrow you and I and Brenda are going to have a long talk. One I think you will find is going to be of benefit to everyone, especially you."

"No Syd, I think I want to go home. I can't face them without my anger. I love them all but how are they going to think of me after yesterday and today. I should have stayed out of the game. Neville has disappeared from Fiji and I don't understand why. He knew we were touring there later this month."

Sydney was confused, he didn't know who the hell Neville was. Quietly he called Paul to him via his mind and asked him to come and take care of Barry. He left the bowler slumped on the floor as he walked back out to the noise and cheers of the Islander crowd and hoped that he had done the right thing.

Arriving back in the centre of the grounds just at the drinks break he looked up at the score. "Bloody hell!" he cursed. "Who the fuck were you bowling Dean?"

Dean Paulsen grinned at this big captain. "Lou's had a couple and so has Simon. Little bugger can spin them good with his left armers. Bamboozled George and Glen!" he chuckled.

Sydney glanced back up at the big scored board and clapped his vice captain on the back. The islanders were four down for less than 50.

"Well lead on matey! I think I will just sit at first slip for a while and watch," smiled Sydney.

Simon's left arm chinamans almost even baffled Sydney as he watched his little opening batsman spin the ball in a total different way to what he expected. Watching Simon's hand closely he saw very little difference as he pushed the ball through the air and made it spin either from leg to off or off to leg. Watching Clarry van Spink attempt to defend the ball and miss it time after time was giving him palpitations at first slip. "Bloody hell Whirlwind, where did you dig him up from!" exclaimed the wily old keeper at the end of the over.

"Talk to Dean matey," replied Sydney, "I didn't even know he could bowl at all!"

The two men chuckled as Sydney watched Dean re-organise the field for Lou's next over. With a loud whistle he called Gareth in off the boundary and sent him to second slip. Tim Robbins almost pouted as Sydney redirected the solid young batsman down to deep fine leg. "Out of my sight for a little while Timmy," he said to himself as he repositioned himself at first slip.

Gareth snavelled the ball in his big hands from Lou's third delivery ending Samuel's innings. The big bowler was still chuckling while Sydney watched the lithe form of his wife stride out through the gates and make her way to the centre. Lou Johnson gulped as he watched the tall black haired woman take guard on leg from Harry Clements. He knew that Bel had his measure and was just simply praying that she was not as ready to blast him out of the grounds as she was last innings.

Three balls later Lou was still cursing the dropped catch by Tim Robbins in the deep from Bel's bat as he tempted her to sweep a ball that came back at her more than she expected. Sydney gave the tall lanky spinner a little pat as he ran past on his way to covers.

"Bel what do you know about Barry and Brenda's little fiasco?" he asked her quietly as he sent Simon back to the fence and measured out his own three pace run up.

"Please Syddy not out here," Bel said stiffly.

"Why not?" he asked. "The main reason you are not facing Caveman now is that he is so fucking stirred up that I have had to send him back to the motel in case he kills someone!"

"I'm sorry Syddy but it's a girl thing. Barry was not supposed to find out until he and Brenda found space to talk about their relationship. Brenda was hoping that it would be resolved in Fiji," she replied.

Sydney ran in and bowled his first delivery and was not surprised that Clarry belted the short pitched ball to the fence easily. "Why Fiji?" he asked when Bel returned to her crease as the ball was relayed in.

"Later Sydney!" she cried with a little bit of frustration.

Sydney bowled the same ball and he simply stood and watched as it flew high into the stands. "Now!" he yelled at his wife as the crowd around the ground stomped and cheered.

"Because Neville is there and Barry will quite likely find his way back to the arms of the man that loves him dearly. Brenda can then let him be who he really is and then the both of them can go their separate ways without anyone else getting hurt!"

"Thank you," he said softly as he accepted the ball back and stepped back to his mark.

His next four deliveries spun viciously from the leg side of the pitch to off. Murray King had to dive sideways at full length to take the balls that darted everywhere. Belinda's eyes opened wide as Sydney grinned at her. "I have been watching you actually bowl, babe. Not your arse and tits!"

Harry Clements almost doubled over with laughter at the comment the big Australian captain made to his wide eyed wife.

Sydney gazed down to long on where Simon Hunter was fielding. There were only five overs to go and he shrugged his shoulders as he had no other bowlers in his arsenal. With the early exit of Caveman he had to rely on Gareth and Joe to carry the burden of fast bowling. It left his attack quite weak and even though Simon had taken a wicket his subsequent overs had been battered to all parts of the ground by Belinda.

Of the men on the field only himself and Simon were capable of putting the ball up near the stumps. Dean was gone after five overs with a badly bruised finger from attempting to field a flayed drive from Aniki and Tim Robbins couldn't bowl any better than himself. Mike Brennan was on the field but as twelfth man and he cursed the circumstances that saw him without his most potent bowler.

"Simon take over from Quicksilver next over!" he called. The nuggetty batsman gave him a thumbs up. He turned to look around the rest of the field and sighed as he found he had no choice but to hand his cap over to Harry and prepare to bowl two of the last five overs.

"Bloody hell Whirlwind!" exclaimed his wife. She grinned at him in mock sorrow.

"Shut up," he said to her as he grinned back.

"Well at least it is only me and Abraham. You never know your luck in the big city," she smirked.

"At least you are not on strike," he shot back at her as he psyched himself to bowl again. The ball almost stuck in his hand as he tried to bowl the leg break too hard. It bounced once on the pitch and didn't bounce again until it hit the roof of the grandstand away to his right.

"Fucking hell Abe, give me a break will ya!" he called down the wicket at the tall dark man who flashed him a grin. "You know that you are partly responsible for Caveman not being here!"

Abe's face fell momentarily and he walked away from the wicket with his back to Sydney. Brenda looked at him with a heavy scowl. "Not fair Syddy, wasn't his fault!"

Sydney nodded his head and waited for Abe to settle over his bat again. The ball pitched wide of off stump and sizzled back at the batsman who awkwardly lifted his bat to try and swat the ball down in front of square leg. The ball popped up from the leading edge of his bat and back to Sydney who took the catch easily. Solomon Islands were all out with 238 on the board. Sydney could not help giving his wife a rueful smile as she left the field amid many cheers on 99 not out.

Kelsey watched her husband standing in the middle of the team dressing room and knew that he as an extremely angry man. He refused to even acknowledge her hesitant smile as he waited for the rest of the team to take seats around the room. All of them seemed a little subdued as they also picked up on the violent mood their skipper seemed to be in. "Anyone who doesn't know why Cavemen is ready to kill can leave the room," he said quietly.

No-one moved, though many shifted uneasily in their chairs as Sydney surveyed the room with cold dark-blue eyes. "Anyone want to say something before I do?" he asked mildly.

"She told us that he was too shy to be part of the sharing!" exclaimed Dean Paulsen. "We didn't know that she lied to us!"

"We were to just be there for her and not ask questions or brag about it to Barry," said Tim Robbins quietly. "I guess we should have known that we were all being used to give Brenda what she wanted and that Caveman didn't know." He hung his head in shame and refused to lift his eyes to meet those of the man he most respected.

"It was not your fault," Sydney said softly. "Barry was not to be told." He turned in a circle and glared at each one of them. "All of you were as bad as she was!" he suddenly shouted at them.
