Rebirth of a Hero? Ch. 05

Nataly stretched as she woke up, her hand brushed against Vals back, Nataly smiled as she slowly crawled over to Vals hips and rolled her over slowly.

Val moaned as she opened her eyes slowly while smiling as she noticed a reddish gold head of hair was wiggling between her hips. Val reached down and gently pulled Natalys head up, "Well good morning to you to my mate."

Nataly smiled and stuck her tongue out to run it over and around Vals clit making her hips jump upwards and into Natalys face. Val moaned loudly as her clit was assaulted and caressed by Nataly, "Quit that you temptress or I'll have to return the favor," Val mock threatened.

Nataly focused as she did her best to bring Val to climax and just as Val was about to reach the peak Nataly stopped and quickly backed up and stood, "Time to shower, have fun," Nataly teased as she quickly walked to the bathroom and closed the door and she smiled at Val haughtily.

Val growled loudly and quickly made her way to the bathroom where she spotted Nataly pretending not to notice her as she put her head under the stream of warm water. Val slowly walked toward the shower stall purring in pleasure as Nataly started to rub herself down in a teasing manner as Val watched. Nataly displayed herself like until Val opened the door and rushed in kissing Nataly hard.

As Nataly kissed Val back, she jumped up and wrapped her legs around Vals hips and moaned into the kiss. Val caught Nataly by her ass and pressed her against the wall and growled as Nataly moaned, Val pulled back as she blunted her tail and smoothed it down.

"Guess what I learned to do?," Val said into Natalys ear as she kissed and nibbled her neck.

"What did you learn?," Nataly panted as she ground herself into Val.

"This!" Val said as she quickly pushed her soft and smooth tail into Natalys depths catching her by surprise and making her wail loudly as she came viciously. Val laughed as she held tightly onto Nataly as her tail plunged into her repeatedly, forcing moans and screams from Nataly.

"Enjoying yourself temptress?" Val jeered as she leaned back and watched, mesmerized as Natalys plump body shook hypnotically.

"God! Yes!" Nataly replied as she was bounced hard by Vals powerful tail.

Val stayed quiet as Nataly screamed again and shook, Nataly reached out and hugged Val hard as she whimpered into her ear, "Slow down please it's too much."

Val pulled out her tail and gently let Nataly stand by herself, Nataly took a few minutes to recover and as she did she grabbed her shampoo. Val took the bottle and poured some into her hand and started to massage Natalys head, "Here let me take care of this you just relax."

Nataly sighed in pleasure as she leaned against the wall and relaxed under Vals ministrations. Once Val finished Nataly stepped under the shower and rinsed her hair, "So what do you think will happen from here?" Nataly asked Val as she started to rub herself against Val.

Val smiled and reached over to her shampoo and put some into her hands and started on herself. "I don't know but I'm fairly certain we are going to the human Capital of Anthropo, where we will meet with the king and queen. Then we will be given the option of joining them or being banned from their territory," Val said, sounding slightly annoyed.

"Really? That's unfair," Nataly said as she reached up and tried to help Val wash her hair.

"I know but human nobility is probably the most prideful race, second only to the high elves" Val responded as she lowered herself to let Nataly help. Nataly washed Vals hair Val reached down and teased Natalys nipples playfully.

"Guess I'll find out when we get there. Is there anything I should know about the Capital?" Nataly asked as she groaned.

"Yes, it's guarded by a grumpy old bastard who also happens to be my grandfather," Val said as she stood up and rinsed her hair off.

Nataly moved around Val and stepped out while grabbing two towels. She started to dry herself off while holding out the other. "You don't sound happy about him, why's that?" Nataly asked as Val grabbed the offered towel.

"He is constantly grumpy...ALWAYS going on and on about how I should be with a dragon "king" not a queen of a nest. He believes that as a female I should dote upon a male and all the children I have." Val growled soon every breath released a small cloud of icy mist.

"Calm down before you freeze the house," Nataly said as she used the tail to whip Vals butt playfully. "He just sounds old and sexist, I've dealt with that so much I'll be fine when meeting him," Nataly responded as she walked into the bedroom and squeaked in fear.

Val rushed in only to find Nataly panting while Lily looked on in worry. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to frighten you but Chessie and the others are calling for you. I didn't know how to get to you so I came in from my new home," Lily said as she backed up giving them room to walk to the dressers.

"Give us a few moments to get dressed and grab some breakfast, we'll be out soon" Nataly responded as she found her favorite skirt and tank top. Val pulled out a deep green dress that came with a long but thin sheer shoulder cap that matched the dress.

"I wish I could wear such things, they are so beautiful. Lily sighed as she watched Val and Nataly walk to the kitchen. "I'll go tell the others, see you soon," Lily said as she moved back downstairs.

Nataly grabbed some food and made a quick sandwich while Val did the same. Nataly finished and started towards the door, Val put her stuff away and followed.

Nataly put her boots on. After a deep breath, she walked out through the portal into Chessies house. Nataly blinked as she saw a small grey diapede waiting for them, "I'm guessing we follow you?" Nataly asked as Val came out behind her.

The diapede nodded and moved towards the stairs to the outside, leading Nataly and Val to the guild hall. As they made their way there, everyone around them smiled, waved or gave a friendly greeting. "Seem like everyone here is thankful for you saving the town," Val whispered into Natalys ear as a group of small children ran up and offered them flowers.

Nataly smiled and accepted the gifts, "Why thank you they're beautiful," Nataly said as the kids ran off playing tag. Nataly turned to Val and said nervously, "I expected them to be thankful but not like this."

"You're the hero who saved their lives and their homes, of course they celebrate you," Val said as they neared the Guild hall. Once they got close enough the baby diapede rushed off towards the training grounds, Nataly and Val walked in the front door where everyone smiled and welcomed them.

Nataly slowly made it forward as many offered hands and open arms. After making it half way through the crowd, a small woman dressed in the guild attire clapped her hands making a thunder like sound shake the building, "Okay everyone back up and let them through!" she yelled as the sea of bodies parted.

Everyone jumped back and sat back down letting Nataly and Val walk unimpeded, Nataly leaned down as she neared the clerk and whispered, "Thank you, it was getting a bit cramped."

"Don't mention it, these lugs can get pretty friendly," The clerk said as she led them up stairs and reached up to open the door. Through the door was a meeting room where Chessie and Navia sat at the head and four people sat to one side and a giant was sticking her head into through the window. "I've brought them I'll now go back downstairs," the tiny clerk said as she closed the door behind Nataly and Val.

"Good morning ladies and welcome to the meeting," Navia said as she gestured to some chairs to the opposite of the group and giant. After Nataly and Val sat down Navia said to everyone, "This morning after sending in the report we received a kingdom wide summons of all adventures of rank five and higher."

Chessie spoke up looking at Nataly and Val, "Since you two are new to the guild system we've asked the party Mythic Midnight to escort you there. They'll also teach you the common sense of this world."

"This is their leader, Malarick" Navia said pointing to the elf with long pointed ears, dark blond hair and deep green eyes. "I'll let him introduce his party to you," Navia said as she sat back.

Malarick leaned forward and spoke with a gentle voice saying, "Greetings Nataly and Val, I'm a high elf elementalist that can use all four elements. To my right is Garvin, he's from the lycan tribe, his class is shifter. To his right is Frund of the Felly folk, she's a musician. To my left is my wife Duna, She's a dwarf paladin under the Goddess Learis." Malarick then pointed to the window and said, "And finally we have Gantua of the giant race, she's a fighter master of hammer, axe, sword and bow. Together we make up the party Mythic Midnight, a rank 5 party."

"Hello everyone nice to meet you, I'm Nataly the sage ranger," Nataly said looking to Navia who nodded in confirmation, "And this is Val the dragon shifter," When Nataly said that Val bowed her head in greetings.

"We were told that we had to escort you two while attending the summons in a month," Gantua said vibrating the floor with every word.

"Escort us?" Nataly asked Navia and Malarick.

"Yes we've been told of your origins and powers, we can't speak of it to anyone other than Chessie and guild leader Navia," Malarick said as he lifted his hand to reveal a balance scale on the back of his hand, the other member and Navia raised their hands as well to show their scales.

"We've taken the oath of justice, meaning if anyone betrays the oath we will be punished depending on the circumstances. The guild leader will be notified by her oath that it was broken, thus ensuring that the oath is kept," Malarick explained.

"We've taken these steps to ensure that you are kept safe and as free as possible," Navia said as she looked to her mother. "It is a repayment for saving our town and everyone in it," Navia said as she stood and bowed, everyone followed suit.

"Okay please stop bowing to me,it's making me slightly uncomfortable," Nataly said blushing.

Everyone sat down as the giantess Gantua asked, "Is it true that you have a room that can fit me?"

Malarick sighed and went to respond but Nataly interrupted him, "I'm guessing you're asking cause you can't find anywhere that fits you comfortably?"

"Yes and I miss beds," Gantua sighed.

Nataly laughed and said, "I get that and it's ok Malarick I was planning on letting you guys have some spare rooms as we travel."

Malarick and everyone smiled in excitement. "Thank you, after hearing about your home and what you are capable of were excited to travel with you," Malarick reached out offering Nataly his hand. Nataly grasped his hand and shook it, he looked slightly confused, "Nataly normally we grasp forearms and not hands," He said while smiling.

Nataly blushed and grabbed his forearm this time and shook, "Sorry about that and when will we leave," Nataly asked.

"Hopefully within the next few days. We need to gather a cart and some supplies for long distance travelling. Also Duna will be teaching you how to enchant weapons and armor, and also how to fight," Malarick said.

"Yes, I offered due to the fact that my cousin is also a sage and has given basic lessons to most of the family," Duna said politely.

"As for traveling purposes we will prepare a cart and two Daloos," Navia said as she stood up and helped her mother stand.

"Daloos?" Nataly asked.

"They're a special breed of horses that stand eight feet tall and over thirty five hundred pounds with massive antlers that protrude forward. Normally they are used as war horses but in this case we need them to pull," Navia said while glancing at Gantua.

Gantua grumbled but remained silent, "Is there anything else you guys need before going?" Navia asked.

"Yes I will need to fetch a hundred daggers," Duna said.

"I want to see the Rasque carcass and see how far along they are with it," Nataly asked.

"I'll take you to see the butcher then," Chessie said as she walked around to where Nataly and Val both stood.

"I'll get things ready," Navia said as she left early, Malarick, Duna, Frund and Garvin went to the window where Gantua held out her hand for them.

"We will pack up things and get ready as well, shall we meet at the southern gate then," Malarick said as they were lowered to the ground.

"Sounds good," Nataly said as she held out her arm for Chessie to hold onto, Chessie accepted it and walked them to the downstairs, where a few diapedes where resting and the group of butchers were finishing their work on the skeleton of the elder rasque.

Hugo came up to Nataly covered in dried blood and a giant cleaver the same size as him and said, "How can I help you out today savior."

Nataly smiled and looked at the skeleton and asked, "Have you ever built a cart or covered wagon out of a Rasque before?" Nataly asked and giggled as Hugos looked at her dumbfounded.

"Why would I? It'd be a waste of materials," Hugo said as he turned to the Skeleton and started to think. "You said you wanted gear and such made out of it. I'll drop the coins to three platinums and make the cart," Hugo said, sounding annoyed. As he started to walk back to the group he stopped and looked back at Nataly and asked, "Why do you want a cart made out of Rasque parts?"

"I'm about to start traveling the world. I'm going to many places with all kinds of dangers, I just want to keep those who travel with me and myself safe," Nataly explained.

Hugo smiled and called out to a thinly built man who was looking over some bones, "Hey Jarromi, think we can build a wagon out of the rasque easily enough?"

Jarromi looked up then to the rib cage and around at the plates and Rasque hide, "It'll take a few days but we could. This thing will be tougher than any cart or wagon to this day," he said as he walked to the rib cage and pulled out a thin rope that had measurements all along it.

"Good I need it to be tough," Nataly said.

"May I ask why Nataly?" Chessie asked as she sat with her children rubbing their heads and chins affectionately.

"Well as you know I pretty much just painted a target on my back with destroying the horde that attacked yesterday. Their leader is probably annoyed and wants to kill me so he can do what he wants safely." Nataly explained.

"There Hugo now you have your answer and reason," Chessie said looking at him with a sideways glance.

Hugo sighed and looked at Nataly, "We will do our best and make it within a few days. Also sorry about my attitude, it was out of line," he finished as he bowed his head down.

"Your forgiving and I expected as much when I thought of it," Nataly said.

Val tapped Natalys shoulder causing her to look back as Duna walked in with a box full of daggers, "Hello Nataly, shall we begin," Duna called out as she walked to an unoccupied corner.

"I'll stay here and talk with them about your plan," Val said as she tapped her temple, Nataly smiled as she leaned in and pressed her forehead to Vals and shared her idea and plan with her.

Val looked up in surprise and shook her head as she walked over to Hugo and Jarromi, "What I'm going to tell you will make you think she's crazy," Val said as she started to explain advanced techniques that came from Natalys world.

As Nataly walked towards Duna she giggled at the dumbfounded faces on Hugo and Jarromi, She turned and walked up to Duna and smiled and opened the door in front of her and offered her hand, "Come here please, I'd rather do this privately."

"I understand," Duna responded as she hefted the box under her short arm and used her hips to hold the box up, she grabbed Natalys hand and followed her into the air and gasped as she entered Natalys home. "By the divines this place is wondrous."

"Thank you Duna, this way please," Nataly said as she took her boots off and walked to the living room and ushered Duna into it. Duna watched Nataly take her boots off and did the same and walked into the living and looked around in awe at the strange decorations and sat down on the couch.

"So what do I do and how does this work?" Nataly asked as she picked up a dagger.

"I am sorry, your home is beautiful and it distracted me," Duna said, rubbing the couch cushion. Duna looked up and breathed in and let out a large exhale, "I will start by explaining what sages can do. First, they are able to give mana to others and use it to strengthen them or in some cases change their forms. Second, they are able to imbue mana into physical objects and give that mana a purpose. For example you could make this dagger stay sharper for longer or make it so that it is harder to break. Third, you can shape mana around you for defence or use it to attack," Duna explained.

"I see, I knew I could make myself stronger and shape mana around me, but I didn't think I could attack with it, or about enchanting items," Nataly explained as she stood and grabbed the box of daggers with one hand and started to walk, "Please follow me I want to try something."

Duna stood and started to follow Nataly while gawking in the other rooms, "Please tell me you will explain everything and how it works?" Duna asked as they headed downstairs and into the firing range, "What is this place for?" Duna asked.

"It's to help people train their abilities with ranged attacks," Nataly explained as she walked up to a stall, "So how do I attack with mana?" Nataly asked.

"Since I cannot attack with mana I will repeat what I was told," Duna explained, "Try to picture a Dagger formed with mana and throw it," Duna offered holding one of the iron daggers up.

Nataly looked at the dagger then turned around and lifted her hand as if about to throw one, She focused on the shape and pushed mana into it. A glowing blue dagger formed quickly surprising Duna.

Duna was about to congratulate Nataly, when Nataly threw the dagger and hit a dummy in the stomach, the Dagger exploded sending the dummy flying into the back wall. The screen beside Nataly displayed the damage, revealing that the dummy midriff was destroyed causing lethal damage but not out right killing it.

"My word Nataly. You should hold back the power or make it so it does not explode," Duna said, slightly surprised.

"Sorry let me try again," Nataly pressed a button and the previous dummy turned to dust and reformed on it's stand, this time Nataly formed a spear in her hand while imaging it staying in form on impact.

Nataly threw it hard and missed the dummy, the spear didn't explode but embedded itself into the wall behind it, Nataly looked embarrassed at missing. "Before you dispel the spear try calling it back to you," Duna offered.

Nataly looked at the spear and held out her hand and focused calling it to her hand, both women watched as the spear vibrated then flew towards Nataly landing in her hand lightly. Nataly looked down then to Duna and smiled. "I think I found a way to keep my gun hidden from people," Nataly said as she held up the javelin.

"You should change it's coloration Nataly," Duna said as she looked at the deep blue weapon, "Anyone who sees it will know it is made of Mana."

"What color should I make it then?" Nataly asked as she made a second.

"This coloration will do, pretend it is a dwarven spear," Duna said as she pulled out her large double headed war axe with a bright silver blade that was fuzed with a deep bronze shaft with a handle wrapped in leather.

"I see," Nataly said as she put her spear up to the blade and focused as the blade slowly turned from deep blue to bright silver.

Nataly then looked at the shaft and turned it into a bronze color, at the base of the spear Nataly added a small six sided mace. Nataly changed it's color to silver.

"This looks like a dwarven war spear with an added attachment," Duna said as she examined it thoroughly. "No one but smiths and craftsmen should be able to tell what it is," she said as she found a chair and sat down and pulled out daggers. "Time to try your enchanting skill," Duna said as Nataly leaned her spear against the wall.
