"Be safe my love, I'll be waiting here," Chessie said as Nataly walked in before Lily followed.
Nataly waited for Lily to fully enter before walking to the stable door, "I'm sorry to pull you away from her but when fighting a rasque and I don't want to risk losing someone, Val might be going full power as well," Nataly said to Lily before walking out.
"I understand and it's fine Nataly, I'll be traveling with you soon anyway," Lily responded as she stopped when she spotted the wolf pack.
"I'll go meet the alpha and start moving, Everyone just stay and try to get comfortable please," Nataly said as she walked out the small side door.
The alpha saw Nataly come out and layed down to let her on his back, Nataly felt a flow of hopeful emotions from the alpha as they started to run towards the west with Nataly mounted on her back.
After a few hours of running Nataly spoke up while holding on to him, "When we get closer could we stop and try to sneak closer. I want to surprise it with a large attack," The alpha tilted his head up at her and nodded.
They continued in silence as the forest around them shifted to a giant tree forest with yellow leaves and shrubs covering the forest floor, the alpha slowed and lowered himself letting Nataly get off.
They both started to creep forward while Nataly created her spear and the alpha stared at it then looked at Nataly in shock, Nataly felt gratefulness and fear coming from the wolf for not battling each other.
Once they found the rasque Nataly noticed that it was only two thirds the size of an elder rasque it was also much less armored and with less spikes, Nataly reached down behind her and lifted the garage door holding her finger to her lips to tell everyone to be quiet, Val stepped forward and held the door open as Nataly turned and powered herself to the point of pain and launched the spear towards the rasque.
The rasque roared in pain as a chunk of flesh was blown away as the spear hit and exploded, it turned and quickly blasted a breath of fire at her in response.
The alpha wolf howled which caused an avalanche of stones to bariad the rasque causing it to flinch and brace itself against the onslaught, once the hail of earth stopped it turned it's head to look at the group and grunted in pain as a giant hammer crashed down on it's head forcing it's face into the ground.
It tried to lift it's head but was knocked over by a transformed Val, once it was on the ground wolves covered it's legs and tail pinning them in place as Lily and Val worked together to rip it's throat apart while Garvin, Gantua, Duna and Malarick held it's head in place.
"It's dead, now you can have your territory back and leave the human settlements in peace," Malarick said to the Alpha wolf who started to rip into the rasque chest trying to get the heart.
Before the alpha could responde everyone heard a loud whimper in pain and turned to see another rasque bite a wolf in half before roarin at everyone in challenge, then three more were heard all around them, "Of course it couldn't be this easy," Nataly said as Lily surrounded everyone even the wolves trying to defend them.
Val grew to her true size making everyone but Nataly stare in shock at the Fully fledged dragon covering everyone with her wings, the rasque focused on Val and started to move forward as one, "Nataly this is not normal behaviour for them, normally they lead a solitary life," Val said in confusion at the pack like behaviour.
"That might be why," Frund said pointing to each of the rasque chest, where a twenty sided die was glowing slightly, "Their being controlled," Frund whispered in shock as all four rasque jumped at the group.
