Rene pulled her legs apart, wider until she cried, helpless as her fingers gripped empty air, his thrusts unrelenting, pushing each scream from her lips as he fucked her, neither kind nor gentle.

He looked down at her, tears staining the blindfold, his name whispered on her lips as it cut through his thoughts, "What, Saya."

Her hips pressed up against him at the gentler pace he set, riding her to the peak of his ecstasy, his thumb finding her clit to give her the same, watching her expression as her lips parted and Rene wanted to see her eyes. His other hand pulled off the blindfold, watching her lashes flutter, her eyes glazed over with a kind of sexual pleasure he recognised all too well as his hips surged against hers.

Groaning, he pressed against her once more, lips muffling her cries as she tipped over the edge, her pussy tight around him, squeezing with enough pressure to send him over and with an effort he held himself propped over her with his arms so as not to crush her with his weight.

Her eyes found his, blinking slowly as though she was seeing him for the first time before her gaze flicked away and her head followed suit. Rene lifted himself off her, proceeding to unshackle her, running his fingers over the slight marks left by the manacles before he gathered her into his arms.

Her soft protests were stilled against him, followed by a moment of tension before she relaxed and despite himself, he sighed, the edges of his stone heart tingling even as his gaze remained impassive.

Gabrielle turned around with a smile, a single daisy in her hand as she held out her other hand and he laughed, running up to her, catching her by the waist as he spun her around, gaily. Her laughter spilled over the green hills and Rene laughed with her as they spun, before he fell, deliberately, pulling her over him.

He found her soft green eyes, his own conveying what he hoped was the depth of his feeling and happiness, "My dear Gabrielle, I love you."

Rene woke with a start, his eyes widening for the sleep he had fallen into, the first one in a decade. The warmth pressed up against him alerted him to the sleeping vancalye in his arms, the light in his Solar telling him it was close to dawn and he sighed, grateful. Smoothly he extracted himself from her warmth and the sweet rhythm of her beating heart. Looking down at her he ran a finger across her cheek, her lashes dark against her skin and Rene spoke, softly, "I dreamed of love, ma chere, I think it is your fault."

Gaze thoughtful, he ran his fingers along her arm, a strange feeling nursed in his chest, that Rene... was beginning to recognise, and yet, he felt none of the desire to push it away, as though the dream had made him less vampire again... He sighed, closing his eyes, he had no wish to remember his human self, his human love and anything that would make him feel. Being what he was, those feelings could only torment him and there was no consolation in death for he could not die again. That was the wretched curse of the Bearer. A sound of mirth parted from his lips, only he would consider it a curse. Leaning down he brushed a kiss against her shoulder, "Sweet dreams Saya."

Then standing, he left his Solar.
