Ripples in a Cuckolds Pond

byJayCuck©

Our relationship is going to stay professional, damnit!

If you think Cassidy isn't pretty, you're wrong. Truthfully, she's gorgeous. Blonde hair, blue eyes, and a killer figure. She's not as curvy as Nicole, but she's really, really attractive. I try not to look at her beyond a glance, because my train of thought has gotten lost several times in her smile.

Tonight, her smile was on display and in full effect.

I leaned over slightly, and lowered my voice. "Um, did Cynthia tell you anything else about tonight? Anything at all?"

She didn't respond verbally. Her eyes fixed on mine, and she nodded her head slowly, a smoldering smile grew on her face. Under the table, her hand caressed my thigh, and gave it a little squeeze.

My heart zipped into overdrive, and my cock instantly got hard. No shame in his game, he was definitely attracted to Cassidy.

"Great," I muttered, and faced the table. "Just great."

Guests were taking their sweet time finding their seats. I guessed I had about ten minutes, fifteen on the outside, before the dinner started.

"Cassidy, why don't we make a quick trip to the bar, and I'll buy you a glass of wine."

Her smile grew a little. "Thank you. I'd like that."

Being a suave, and debonair gentleman, I helped her to her feet, and she slid her arm inside of mine. I tried hard not to think about how good it felt, or how perfectly our bodies matched up. Even in heels, I was still several inches taller than her. Taller, and leaner than Nicole, we still fit together nicely.

When we made it out the hall, the noise level dropped considerably, so a normal conversation was now possible.

"Did you drive here tonight?"

Her mischievous smile returned, and she shook her head. "No, a friend dropped me off."

"Ahh. I see. So are they picking you up again?"

"No."

"You have a room for the night?"

"Yes, Cynthia said she reserved one for me."

My smile was so tight, it probably looked more like a grimace. "Wow, she sure thinks of everything."

"Are you upset that I'm here, Nick?" Worry washed over her face. "I'll go if you don't want me here."

Shit!

We were just outside the bar, so we were in a good spot for a private conversation. I moved us over to the wall, and faced her.

"No. I'm not upset," I said. "I'm just surprised. That's all. I wish Cynthia would have told me, because I would have picked you up, and we could have ridden together. The idea of you simply being dropped off, irritates the crap out of me. You deserve better."

"Awww, such a gentleman."

"Cassidy."

I started to lay the hammer down, but it suddenly hit me how much of a risk she took in coming tonight. Yes, I could reinforce that we're co-workers, and she's my subordinate. That was certainly an option...if I wanted her to quit on Monday. I don't understand women well, but I suspected Cassidy would take a huge emotional hit, if I was cold to her tonight.

I took a breath, and calmed down.

Damn, Nick. You can be nice, without sleeping with her.

"You look beautiful tonight," I continued, and motioned at her dress. "That dress is a work of art, and you wear it extremely well."

"Thank you! It's a Herve Leger." Happiness, tinged with a huge amount of relief, filled her voice. She stepped forward, and hugged me tightly. "Thank you, so much."

I'm not an expert on dresses. I think I mentioned that earlier. Cassidy's dress truly was beautiful, and it complimented her figure on almost a pornographic level. Sleeveless, black and grey, it hung beautifully from her shoulders. Classy, sexy, beautiful. Like Nicole, she pulled it off.

"You're welcome. Now, how about that glass of wine."

"Any chance, I could get a glass of whiskey instead?"

I chuckled softly. "Absolutely. I'll have one with you."

The bartender gave me an odd look, but poured our drinks without comment. I had just sent back a glass of whiskey, and now I was getting another. His confusion was understandable.

We clinked our glasses together, after I paid our tab, and started walking back to the reception hall. She slid her arm inside mine again, and pressed herself against me.

"This resort is so beautiful," she remarked.

"It certainly is," I replied, after taking a sip of whiskey. We walked for a few more steps, before I looked over at her. "Can I ask you something, and you'll give me a straight answer?"

"Of course."

"Will you tell me what you know about my marriage to Nicole?"

The question was deliberately phrased to be as broad as possible. I didn't ask what she'd heard, or what Cynthia had told her. I asked what she knew, which was designed to elicit as much information as possible.

"Nick," she pulled us to a stop, and glanced around quickly. "I know you're in love with your wife, and you have two great kids. You're probably the smartest insurance guy I've ever met, and on top of that, you're a great boss. I love working for you."

"Okay," I said slowly.

She squared her shoulders, took a breath, and hit me with it. "Nicole cheats on you. I don't understand why, but she cheats on you, and you let her. I saw her with Collin at the club, and later at his house. I know she's been with Cynthia as well."

"Wai-."

Her eyes grew misty, and she cut me off. "You're handsome, you have a big heart, and you're a great provider. I've seen you with your girls, you're a great father as well. Guys like you are rare, but she treats you so badly."

She wiped a tear away, took a ragged breath, and stomped her foot lightly. It was cute. "Good guys are so hard to find, and she doesn't seem to realize how special you are. I guess someone so beautiful, can have her pic of guys."

Crying women are hard to handle, and while she wasn't openly crying, she was close. She was also wrong. If we were going to get through the night, I needed to put some context around my marriage to Nicole.

"Cassidy," I said gently, and she met my eyes. "Thank you. I appreciate everything you just said, and it means a lot to me."

Embarrassment washed over her face, and she looked down, nodding slightly. "It's true."

"I think you're giving me way too much credit, but thank you." I reached out and squeezed her arm gently. "We're about to go way beyond our normal professional relationship here, so if you want to cut and run, here's your chance."

She looked up again, and a quirky smile appeared on her face. "I'm stayin' here. Hit me with it."

"This isn't information you can share, Cassidy. It's intensely personal."

"You can trust me."

I nodded and decided to just say it plainly.

"Nicole isn't cheating on me, not at all. I've been aware of her relationships from the beginning."

"I don't underst-."

"And I approved of them," I interrupted her. "I still approve of them."

Realization crossed her face, and she leaned forward. "You're swingers?"

"No," I laughed. "We're unique."

"Okay, I'm lost."

"We have a semi-open marriage. It's the best way to explain it, I guess. Nicole will occasionally have a relationship with one person. It's something we agree on together, and nothing is hidden between us. She's not cheating, so please don't think badly of her."

"What about you?"

"What about me?"

"It just seems one-sided, not really fair, in my opinion. Don't you get to have a relationship?"

"Uh." My razor sharp wit abandoned me. "I guess I could. I just haven't wanted one."

"Why not?"

"Cassidy," I said, and shook my head. "No man in his right mind, wants two women in his life. That's the perfect recipe for a serious ass-kicking...from two women. Believe me, I'm pretty sure they'd team up at some point."

"Huh. Interesting."

"What?"

She looked at me for a moment. "You're missing out, Nick."

"Probably. But it works for us." I motioned with my head. "Let's take our seats."

She didn't move, not a bit, and her eyes narrowed at me a little. "You don't think I'm attractive, do you?"

"Uh, what?"

"You heard me," she accused. "That's why you've never...well, responded to me. I used to think it was because you were happily married, and faithful to your wife. Now it sounds like you're just not attracted to me."

"How the hell did you draw that conclusion?"

"Is there another explanation?"

"Yes. I love my wife, and I am happily married." I started to laugh, but the look on her face stopped that reaction cold. "We work together, Cassidy. Have you heard of sexual harassment? Do you honestly think I'd use my position to take advantage of you?"

"No, but-."

"Do you want your career to be tainted with rumors that you slept your way up the ladder?" I took a deep breath. "I haven't responded to you, because I freakin' admire you, and your ability. Don't turn this into something it's not. I haven't rejected you....I've respected you!"

"So you are attracted to me!"

"You've got to be kidding me," I said under my breath, and ran a hand over my face. When I met her eyes, she arched her eyebrow, clearly indicating she expected an answer. "Yes. I'm attracted to you. You're smart, you're gorgeous, and you're smile is like a weapon. It disarms me completely, if I stare at it for more than a second. You're beyond beautiful, and way out of my league."

Her smile lit up her face, and it was all I could see for several seconds. She slid her arm in mine, and turned us both towards the door. "Now I'm happy. C'mon, let's take our seats."

"Wait, we need to get you checked in to the resort. You'll need a room key."

"You've checked in already, right?"

"Yes," a smirk appeared on her face, and her eyes twinkled with excitement.

"What am I missing?"

"Cynthia said you should have received two room keys."

"I did."

"One of them is for me." She leaned forward, kissed my cheek softly, and whispered in my ear. "I'm staying with you tonight, Nick."

What the fuck?

"Check the keys," she said softly.

Fearing the worst, I fished the envelope out and studied the keys carefully. They were the standard card keys. I couldn't tell them apart.

She pointed to them. "We have adjoining rooms."

Relief washed over me, but disappointment joined it as well. Cassidy was gorgeous, and spending the night with her wouldn't be the worst thing that ever happened to me. Of course, Nicole would skin me alive the next day, but who knows, it might be worth it. Still, the grown-up, responsible person in me was relieved we weren't in the same room.

"Here's your key. You're not funny."

"I'm hilarious," she said and handed me her glass of whiskey, so she could put the key in her purse, clutch, handbag...whatever.

"Can we go now?"

"Yes," she replied, and kissed me on the cheek again.

"What was that for?"

"You're a good guy, Nick." Her voice was serious now, and she pressed herself against me. "Now, escort me in there. I'm hungry."

"Yes, ma'am."

"Hmmmm, well trained," she observed. "I could get used to this kind of treatment."

"Are you sure you're only in your mid-twenties?"

She laughed softly, and pressed her lips against my ear. "I'm an old soul."

We stepped back in the hall, and saw the last remaining people hurrying to their seats. Someone was tapping a spoon against a glass, and they must have had a microphone, because it echoed through the speakers.

"Please. Everyone take your seats. We're about to begin."

I held the chair for Cassidy, which earned me another warm smile. As I took my own seat, I nodded at the people sitting with us. None of them were familiar.

Well, at least Cassidy is here. Now I have someone to talk to.

A hand lightly caressed my thigh. I glanced at Cassidy. She was smiling demurely, and staring at the podium. Her hand inched its way up my thigh. I grabbed the nearest glass of water, and took a large gulp.

In an effort to keep her hand off my cock, I turned slightly in my seat, and faced the head table. A man was speaking at the podium, but my attention was focused on someone else.

My wife.

Nicole was sitting next to David, the guest of honor, at the head table. Unlike Cassidy, she wasn't paying attention to the speaker at the podium. Her eyes were focused like laser beams....on me. Her expression was calm, but intense, and even though we'd been married for over two decades, I couldn't tell what she was thinking. One critical fact was abundantly, and instantly clear to me.

Cynthia had neglected to mention to my quick-tempered wife that Cassidy was going to be here tonight.

I'm so screwed!

The first month. Remember how I told you I'd tell you about the first month with David? Well it's that time now.

You're welcome.

The dinner at the resort was fairly boring. The food was pedestrian at best, and David's speech could have put an insomniac to sleep. I didn't hear a word of it, but I wasn't sure if it was because Nicole was staring bullets at me, or because Cassidy was determined to stroke my cock under the table.

Either way, I missed most of his speech. Obviously, since I didn't hear it, I can't relate it to you, so we're going back a month. Almost exactly a month, when our relationship with David first started.

Unlike the dinner at the resort, Collin's restaurant always served an amazing dinner. The chef was absolutely top notch. We'd shared an appetizer, and exchanged small talk. Nicole got up in the middle of our small talk, and sat on his lap. She kissed him hungrily. The waiter had come back into the room, and took our order for dinner....with Nicole sitting on David's lap.

It was a bit awkward, and supremely exciting.

After the waiter left, she returned to her seat. I wasn't sure if she couldn't help herself, or she wanted to put on a show, for me, or for the waiter. Silence filled the table, as Nicole and David stared at each other hungrily. I cleared my throat, and the two wannabe lovebirds tore their eyes away from each other. A slight blush covered my wife's cheeks, and she had the good manners to mouth, 'sorry'.

"David, can you tell us a little more about what you're looking for in a relationship? Is it a once-in-a-while kind of thing, or something more?"

"Good question. I'd like to see her as often as possible," he replied immediately. The look on my face must have given him pause, because held up his hand. "As long as it fits with your family plans. I understand you have kids, and they need to come first."

"Yes," she said quietly. "The girls are our first priority."

"I understand completely, and I'm not looking to hurt your marriage."

I nodded at him. "Thank you."

He looked pensive for a moment, and I got the sense he was trying to carefully frame his next question. Finally, he looked over at me.

"I don't understand what you get out of all this, Nick."

"Yeah, most guys don't get it. It's not something that's easy to grasp for most guys." I took a breath, and smiled at my wife. "First, I get a happy wife, and as a married guy, I can tell you that is worth its weight in gold."

He chuckled, and she smiled at me.

"Second, the emotional high is indescribable, and it's hugely addictive. Watching my wife, being a participant in her seduction, is unlike anything I've ever felt before. Truthfully, I've missed it."

"See, I don't get that at all," he replied. "Your wife is smoking hot. I mean, she turns heads wherever she goes, and you're okay with sharing her?"

I smiled. "More than okay with it. I enjoy it. I love seeing her happy, seeing her satisfied, in and out of the bedroom." I leaned forward. "There's an energy, a sense of exhilaration that can only come from this type of relationship. Believe it or not, it brings us closer together."

"No way."

"Way," Nicole said with a smile. She put her hand on mine. "Nick's right. It's something that we both share, and it does bring us together."

He raised his eyebrows, and motioned vaguely with his hands. "If you say so. I don't understand it, but I respect your position."

"Thank you."

Our good arrived, and we all started eating. There is something about food that is specially prepared in small amounts, by a trained chef. It's just unbelievable. Our dinner that night stood in stark contrast to the food at the banquet was mass produced, lukewarm when it arrived at the table, and poorly seasoned.

Yeah, yeah. I'm a food guy.

As we were finishing our dessert, he turned to Nicole. "May I take you home tonight?"

"Yes," she replied immediately. "I'd like that."

They shared a smile for several seconds. An alarm bell went off in my head, because he didn't ask me....at all. Not before he asked her, and he didn't ask if it was okay with me, after she already agreed. All of us were starting something brand new, so I didn't obsess over it. David and I were going to have to find a way to work together, and that road as sure to have some bumps along the way.

Silence had descended on the table, as I was thinking about getting along with David. When I tore myself out of my head, and back to the table, Nicole and David were both looking at me strangely.

"What'd I miss?"

"Honey, would you mind taking the car home? David and I want to stay a little longer, and talk."

"Ahh," I replied. "I'm being dismissed. Is that it?"

"Honey." Her smile grew a bit wider, but her eyes narrowed ever so slightly. "Please."

Emphasizing dinner was over, David stood and held his hand out to me. "Thanks for coming tonight, Nick. I enjoyed the dinner, and we'll have to grab lunch soon."

"Sure," I replied easily. "Let's do that."

A second later, I walked out of the room, and stopped cold. A complex swirl of emotions, cause my heart to beat heavily, and needed to take a breath.

First, I was excited, and I'm not going to sugar-coat that at all. I'd missed this feeling, this situation, and I was glad it was back. As I leaned up against the wall, and steadied myself, the second strongest emotion washed through me...fear.

David and Nicole were powerfully attracted to each other, anyone could see that, and now they were starting a relationship together. He was handsome, in his own way, in good shape, and wealthy. Obviously not as wealthy as Collin, and I suspected my net worth was larger than his, but still he wasn't hurting by any means.

So I found myself in the same situation, and loving it. A sense of risk, and exhilaration filled me until I felt ready to burst. I was walking the tightrope again. No safety net, and the only question remaining was....How far will I fall?

A sophomoric sense of mischief filled me, and I stepped back towards the door. Carefully, I peeked around the corner, just far enough to see them. What I saw, kicked my heart into overdrive.

Nicole had resumed her spot on David's lap, and they were passionately kissing. It was a hugely erotic sight. She'd put her arms around his shoulders again, which gave his hands free access to her breasts, and he was taking advantage of it. The soft caresses, and gentle kneading of his hands, caused her to moan softly into his mouth. She pressed herself harder against him. My breath caught in my chest for a moment as her hand slipped from his shoulder, and down to his waist.

The way she was sitting on him, I knew she couldn't take his cock out, but she murmured in approval a moment later. He broke their kiss, and smiled lustily at her.

"You like that?"

"Hmmm, yes," she breathed. "You feel amazing."

His voice lowered, and his entire manner of speech changed. "You like big cocks, baby? Or you like big black cocks?"

"Black cocks," she answered him the same way, and her hand stroked rhythmically against his body. "I love black cock." Another moan. "Especially, big, and thick ones."

"Yeah, good girl." He chuckled, and continued playing with her breasts. "Well, you're going to get a lot of it, if I have my way."
