Triann, rushed to Sam's side as he started to fall face forward. Tynco, Mellos father, was also trying to keep Sam from hitting the ground.

"He has to self-heal, as he is the only one that can heal this. If he does not stop often while doing this, the disease could overwhelm and kill him." Tynco was saying as he tried to shakily stand.

"You shouldn't be trying to stand," Triann told him. "I still need to examine you."

"I can tell you what he has done, I cannot feel the disease through most of my body. My mind is the clearest that it has been in a very long time. I should be well, 'til Sam can finish." Tynco was explaining.

Both Tynco and Sam's mother got him on a table. Triann, smiled as she felt Sam's strength start to return.

"From what I can see, he should be awake in less than an hour." She stated.

Tynco could only stand there watching. All the disfigurement that Sam had taken from Tynco, was rapidly fading from Sam's face.

"I have to admit that, though I knew he could do this, it is still incredible to watch. Someday, I will have to ask how you accomplished this. For now, we need to get as many of our people back as soon as we can." Tynco said still watching Sam.

Less than thirty minutes later, Sam slightly groaned as his eyes flickered open. Looking around, he saw his mother, father, Drivas, Thellus and another male. Try as hard as he could, he couldn't seem to bring the males name to mind.

Trying to sit up only made his head start to pound. Christ, Sam thought, what in the hell hit me?

A moment later the male Sam couldn't name, walk slowly to him. "How are you feeling?" The male asked.

"Like I've been used for road kill." Sam replied. When the male only looked at him confused, Sam stated. "It feels as if I have been beaten to a pulp."

The male was shaking his head. "That's to be expected, you are the first to ever be healed of the disease. It used to be called the clinging cell disease, though now that we can defeat it, that no longer applies."

Sam was nodding not really having any idea what the male was saying. "Excuse me for saying this but, just who in the hell are you?"

"Ah, I apologize I am Tynco, Mellos's father. The first long term sufferer, to be almost completely cured of the disease. Though, if you have time, my body needs the rest destroyed, if I am to survive with no relapse." Tynco explained.

Suddenly, it seemed as if a switch had been turned on as Sam's eyes cleared. "Yes I agree, though it appears that you have more knowledge about this healing than I possess. You also seem to know just how much I can do."

Tynco nodded, "As with the rest of your power the more you use it, the stronger you'll become. I believe this, was the most intense healing you have done." When Sam nodded Tynco continued. "We have always suspected that there were osmosis healers that could cure this malady. We always found though, that none were strong enough 'til you."

Tynco was about to say more when there was another soft pneumatic hiss behind him and Sam.

Both males turned to see another tall, raven haired, female in the newly opened reconstruction chamber. She was looking around a moment then her eyes locked on Tynco.

"Tynco?" She stated in a soft, almost whispering, trembling voice.

"Cyan!" Came Tynco's shocked voice, he then slowly made his way to the female.

"How have you accomplished this?" The female said, then ran her hands over Tynco's face. She was finding that almost all the disease was gone.

Tynco turned toward Sam, "He healed me, over eighty percent, damn near killed himself in the process. This was the first intense healing he has done; it won't be the last though, it should be easier each time."

Cyan could only stare at the male that, she had a few days ago called a freak of nature. Bowing her head to Sam, she stated, "I wish to apologize to you Sam. You risked your life for my husband. I can never thank you enough."

Sam started to blush; praise was something that he still had difficulty accepting.

"I am still adjusting to the fact that I am this savior of our people. Almost as difficult as to the fact that, I am not from earth." Sam said as a small smile crossed his lips. Looking at Drivas and Thellus, he turned back to Cyan. "Though I am finding certain benefits."

Cyan looked at Triann, whose face held a grin, then to Drivas and Thellus. Finally she turned back to Sam. "It appears that you are adjusting quite well." She finally said a small grin also on her face.

Sam, sat a little longer feeling his strength rapidly building. Looking at his father and Tynco he sighed. He could really use some help with the coming battle.

Sam slid off the table he was on, he almost kept going to the ground. Sam, was finding that his strength wasn't completely back yet.

He quickly felt two set of arms helping him to remain standing. Looking at the arms, then up to the owners he was surprised to see Drivas and Thellus. What was more confusing, was the look of concern plus, something else he saw in their eyes.

"Thank you both, it appears that I am not completely recovered." Sam confessed.

"That should become less and less. I mean look at how fast you recovered this time." Sam's mother told him.

Sam nodded, as he was finally able to walk more steadily to the other two males. "So, can you estimate, just how long will it be before any of you can render any aid?"

Both males looked at Sam, both seemed to be in deep thought. "From the readings your mother got, plus what I remember from before this happened, it could vary." Sam's father stated.

"Vary, how so? I am strong, I have power, I am still an infant using most of it. I could really use some help here. That attack that we witnessed, I am sure won't be their last. As I remember weren't our people and theirs sworn enemies," Sam asked, growing a little perplexed.

Both males heads snapped up hearing the exasperation in Sam's voice.

"I'm sorry son," Sam's father stated. "I am afraid that 'til such time as we can control our bodies and power." Here Fino's head lowered, "We will be of little help to actually fight."

Sam let out a sigh, then nodded. "I had forgotten about having to get used to the power. It came easy for me, a product of being an osmosis healer, I guess." Turning toward Tynco he said, "I suggest we get this over with. If as you say, you could relapse, I think we need to finish."

Tynco's head nodded slowly as Sam walked to him. Laying a hand on Tynco's shoulder, all there were amazed when Tynco's body straightened, then all the malady was gone. Cyan, ran to her husband throwing her arms around him holding him tight. Not finding any evidence of the disease, she grabbed Sam bringing him into the hug.

"You don't realize what you have truly done. You not only saved his life; you've given me back mine; for that I can never thank you enough." Cyan told Sam.

Sam nodded to her as she went back to holding her husband. Walking back to his father, he needed to discuss with him more before he left again.

"Father, you have dealt with these Tetricons before. I need as much information as I can get, before I face them again." Sam said.

Fino thought a moment, then launched into all he could remember about the last days of Owt Los. Sam listened with rapt attention. True there wasn't much his father knew that he didn't already know, though he did have a few things that Sam didn't know or realize. Thanking his father, Sam made sure to shake his hand before he left to implement his new plan.

He then walked to his mother, gently grasping her hand. Thanking all of them again, he took flight promising to return when they called.

It wasn't more than a few minutes later that both Fino and Triann's eyes flew wide as they felt the healing adjustment. Looking at her husband, Triann, could only shake her head. "Apparently, Sam has learned far more than we thought."

"I concur, at this rate we might be able to help sooner than we thought. I have to hand it to him; he is as crafty as his mother." Fino stated.

Sam was about to open a portal when he 'heard' Drivas.

{Sam we managed to gather all the information that you required. I am afraid that most of what you suspected, was true.} Drivas's thoughts said.

{What of those that I wanted you to check on?} Sam replied.

{Only four possessed any of the traits you had us checking for. Anything else we can do? I am afraid if we stay here, that Triot may trace us to here.} Drivas stated.

Sam thought of that a moment, it might be better if they are still not connected to what he was doing. {Follow as if you are still keeping an eye on me for him. Neither one of you have enough power to withstand him or Thantas.}

{Alright we're leaving as soon as we can,}| Drivas replied.

It was obvious to Sam that he couldn't go in as a frontal attack, no. He had to come up with something else, some diversion. Snapping his fingers he altered his course, of course she would do quite nicely!

Sam reached out hoping that he could find her. After their last encounter and the doubt he'd felt, he wasn't so sure. A smile slowly grew on Sam's lips as after a few minutes he started to get a feel for where she was. Shit this wasn't going to be easy, she was just on the edge of the last triad he'd restored.

With his head shaking, Sam opened a worm hole slipping in. Well, here goes he thought, as the portal closed after him.

Back on the IP home world, in the council chambers, seven bodies were jerking. A myriad of Techs were running from one to another body trying to stabilize it. A moment later the Lord Doctor walked in shaking his head.

The Doctor looked at the readout next to the door, then groaned a moment. He then started to rapidly type on the keypad. Only a few moments passed, then all the alarms shut down.

A hologram of one face appeared before the Lord Doctor, bowing slightly. "It appears that the Cliveastone has indeed grown very powerful."

"Yes, it is as I feared, this one's far different than any we have ever faced. I had heard rumors of osmosis healers before we attacked their planet. We had no physical proof 'til now. It has been long suspected that the female that we extract the serum from, might also be one. It also appears that we might have another problem rearing its head." The Doctor stated.

"We take it you are referring to sub-commander Triot. We felt him as we passed by the sector. Shall we take him or should we continue the destruction of this Cliveastone?" The collective asked.

The Lord Doctor was in thought for a few moments, "That is a difficult decision. We face imminent danger from both, though, I think that the Cliveastone being as strong as he is? Constitutes a greater danger."

The hologram nodded bowing again slightly. "Then we shall continue with the standard destruction plan."

The Doctor shook his head, "No, I think that with the amount of power we are dealing with, we need to change our plans. This I think, is going to require more secrecy and subterfuge than ever before."

"We believe you are correct Lord Doctor. What of the claim that there are three others than us? Surely the Cliveastone was lying." The Hologram stated.

"I know for a fact that there is at least one more. Therefore, I have reason to believe that he was speaking the truth. I also believe that the last two are elite, if so then it is understandable why I cannot sense them." The Doctor said.

"That would be a great boon in our favor. Have you tried the standard channels to contact them?" The collective asked.

"Yes, so far to no avail. The Doctor replied.

With all the recent activity here, one would think that they would have more than noticed." The collective said.

The Lord Doctor's eyes narrowed a moment as he thought about it. "Yes, one would think that."

Back on Queen Triada's world, it appeared that Triann and Fino were starting to have a few problems of their own. It seemed that Sam, had accelerated his mother and father's powers manifesting themselves within them. This in turn, had the both of them slowly floating off the surface.

As soon as Raydy and Mellos had the both of them back on the ground, Triann was grabbing a few pieces of equipment. Passing it over both herself then Fino, she took several readings before she nodded her head.

"There, I think that I have us adjust enough for now. I am surprised, it is obvious that Sam has progressed farther and faster than we ever thought he would. Then again, it might have been born out of the necessity for it. When he was gifted with it, we were so unsure that it would take, let alone how it would affect him." Triann explained.

Fino nodded as he flexed his power. "It's sad to think that we only have half our power. Plus the fact that we can hardly access it."

"You knew as well as the others did, there was a chance of this happening. There's one thing that I am confused about. According to star movements and positions, it appears as if over five hundred, standard planetary, solar revolutions have occurred." Triann informed Fino.

"What?! Have you checked the calculations? Surely something is wrong in the computations." A now confused Fino stated.

"I thought that myself, when I first came to my conclusion. No, I did them a total of four times, coming to the same answer all four times." Triann said.

"I know we had them set to open when the planet could support them, though five hundred cycles? How could we have miscalculated like that?" Fino nearly shouted.

"Obviously, you all had set more parameters than you at first thought. I just hope that we can rescue enough to actually restart our world. Sam has a monumental task ahead of him. " Triann said, a sad look on her face.

Fino let out a sigh as he nodded agreement. "If there were only more time, only able to offer mental power won't help much with these creatures. Even with what he did to the two of us, we are still little to no physical help." Fino stated.

Both Drivas and Thellus left a few minutes after Sam. Drivas shook her head when she saw Sam enter the worm hole. By all she knew, Sam was by far hundreds of times faster than he was when they first met him.

Already having set the course, Drivas was shocked when she saw Sam head off in a completely different direction. She was about to shut down the worm hole drive then thought better of that. The last that she heard that had done that, had hardly left much to find as the forces ripped the ship to pieces, small pieces.

With a shrug she'd have to correct after they were in the worm hole.

She'd just shut down the drive, programmed new coordinates when Triot found them. Rapidly, she activated the next worm hole as Triot came screaming into her and Thellus's head.

"So, you two useless, pieces of wasted space are still alive. Still following him I see. I think that the both of you have come to the end of your usefulness. Good riddance to my most useless agents." Triot's thoughts screamed at them.

Thellus began to scream, then Drivas followed close behind her. The last thing they both heard was Triot's sadistic laugh.

Barely able to stand, Triot was still laughing at the sound of both females screaming. 'Ah,' he thought, 'that had been most satisfying!'

Now to turn my attention to an even more annoying pest! Triot thought as he started to reach out for Thantas. I have had to deal with her blight upon this station long enough.

Thantas felt Triot as he was reaching for her. She knew that, it would only be a matter of time before he did. Well, she thought, he was in for a slight surprise if he thought he would defeat her that easily. Her mental powers were more than before. In the last few weeks she had been in her body enough to increase them at least another five percent.

Laughing with sadistic glee Triot's smile rapidly faded when he hit a wall. Growling he again reached for the Cliveastone bitch only to be blocked.

Cursing he reached for the keyboard as he sat with a heavy thud in a seat. His smile starting to return Triot started to type in a number of commands. To his utter surprise, he found that almost all the pain, punishment commands that they used to control her were disconnected.

Damn it he thought, they basically were only holding her out of her body not much else. Shaking his head he also knew that he was the only one that could reconnect them.

Looking over the readings he saw that the last time that Sam had attacked he had come very close to releasing her.

Triot reached over to the side grabbing several packs of nutrients to consume. After the first three, he felt more control of his body returning.

Triot slowly stood making his way out of the room. He needed to implement his escape plans now while they were all preoccupied with each other. A small smile crossed his lips as he started to arm the self-destruct of the station.

He might not be able to overpower her now, though the self-destruct, once activated, nothing would be able to save the Cliveastone bitch.

Several IP officers were running to him to ask orders. With a sadistic smile, Triot swept his arm in front of him. More than a few of the officers flew hard into the bulkheads, Triot smiled wider, hearing the satisfying cracks of their skulls and bones.

With a grin at his handy work, Triot nodded his head, he could feel his body struggling to catch up with his abilities. At least now he knew that his strength was increasing. Flexing his hands, he could feel his power just at the tip of his control. Soon, he would have his revenge on the pitiful council.

Triot walked to his ship, he was glad to see that the rest of the crew got the message when he killed the last group. No one approached him nor were there any in sight, good now to leave this blackhole of boredom.

Triot stopped at the opening of the space dock, started to enter the final sequence of the self-destruct.

{Now bitch survive that! Without your body you are helpless, I may not be able to destroy you mentally, you can't me either. Good bye!} Triot's thoughts stated as he entered the ship then was gone.

Thantas tried all she could to no avail, to re-enter her body, finally she reached out to Sam.

Sam had almost reached where he was going when he heard Thantas's call for help. He was already out, then in another worm hole when she started to explain.

The thing that they both failed to notice was that Sam was there in a mere five minutes.

{I'm coming Thantas,} Sam thought as he headed to the station at full speed. Then he was shocked when, he met no shield or resistance.

{You haven't much time Sam.} Thantas warned him.

Sam nodded as he went straight to the tank that held her body. Again he was surprised when there was nothing to stop him. Reaching out he began to snap all the electrical connections that he could.

Less than a minute later he saw the body start to move, then he saw her open her eyes. Sam was about to break the huge vat when she shook her head no.

{I am almost completely back. I need a little more time.} Thantas said.

{Where in the hell is Triot?} Sam asked.

{I am afraid that he left the station, he was afraid that he might die if I got free,} here Thantas smiled. {He was right. I feel my strength returning, stand back.} Thantas stated. There was a loud crash, then Thantas was stumbling forward. "Hello Sam, good to finally see you." With that she crumpled in Sam's arms.

Shit Sam thought, as he laid his hand on her shoulder. I hope that this healing that I have, can help her. Not sure I can... Sam smiled as he remembered what he had done with Raydy. Nodding with Thantas in his arms, he took off back the same way he'd come in.

Events and dialogs

Not a single description. Only events and dialogs. Those made me read until chapter 21.so that's not too bad. I would like to know what sam looks like, how many tentacles is he growing since he left earth? That sort of stuff.

Great storyline but could have been more.
