Samantha Ch. 04

He made his way out of the lounge and went to the staircase. It was made of wrought iron and cold to the touch, it had one spiral in it and as Damian walked up the stairs a feeling of grandeur was beginning to overtake him.

The first room he came to was the Master bedroom. There was a king size brass bed in it already made up with red silk bedding, contrasting well with the dark walls and again candle sconces on the walls. Apart from a double wardrobe there was nothing else in the room. Adjoining the bedroom was a bathroom, which was practical and nondescript. The guest bedroom was similar and the other two rooms were bare. These obviously hadn’t been used before, but maybe Damian would find a use for them. Another bathroom at the end of the upstairs hallway completed his tour of the house.
