Samus was born in 2055 and raised on the Earth mining colony K-2L, and when she was a child, the planet was raided by Space Pirates in 2058. After completing her training and being granted the Power Suit by the Chozo, Samus enlisted in the Galactic Federation at an unknown point after leaving the Chozo. She left over disagreements with her commanding officer, Adam Malkovich. Samus then started working as a freelance bounty hunter, and ebery once in a while she's called on by the Galactic Federation to execute missions "because of her superior skills and sense of justice." Most of her missions revolve around the galaxy. Some of these missions involve getting rid of enigmatic organisms known as the Metroids, which can drain life energy. The Metroids are frequently sought after as biological weapons due to their extreme durability.

Samus looks at the bird creature. "You're not Ridley." She lowers her weapon and steps closer to the creature. she puts her hand out as to say 'don't be scared.'

The bird creature lowers its head as it steps closer to Samus. As she goes to pet it on the head, it lunges her and lands on her. She tries to raise her weapon, but the bird's claws hold her arms down. It's claws grip her arms and the claws make their way into the ground, pinning her down.

Samus quickly turns into a ball and drops a small bomb and double jumps with her booster out of the way. The bird creature sees the bomb and tries to avoid it, but is hit. The bird creature falls to the ground and hits hard. Samus runs over and points her weapon at him. "Where's this planet's capital. It's home base."

The bird coughs in pain and turns on his back as he looks up at her weapon. "I live in a cave. I don't know what else you're talking about."

Samus looks him in the eyes and starts to charge her weapon. "I guess I don't need you anymore then," The bird creature quickly moves his wing and hits her hard off her feet. She's sent a few feet away, but lands on her feet. She shoots one energy blast at the bird creature. He moves to the side and dodges it.

The bird creature bends his wing and looks at where he was burned. He looks at Samus and lets out a loud bird noise.

"You don't scare me." Samus holds out her weapon and fires a missile at the bird creature. It starts to fly away, but can't make it far. The missile explodes on impact and bird feathers fly everywhere. Then there's a thud from what's left of the creature. It's now blackened and is smoking from the blast. "Told you." Samus walks off.

An unknown voice is heard from Samus's helmet. "Samus... Samus." The voice breaks in and out.

Samus touches the side of her helmet. "Find a better frequency." The radio signal from her helmet adjusts until the voice is clear. "Samus do you copy?"

Samus keeps a finger on the side of her helmet as she talks. "I hear you loud and clear." Samus starts to walk off.

"What's going on?"

"There's definitely life on this planet. I had to kill the first lifeform I came across. He did know English, but he wasn't going to talk."

"We need them alive Samus."

"Copy." Samus takes her finger off her helmet.

-A COUPLE HOURS LATER-

Samus walks the border of the glass and a forest. She hears monkey like noises as she walks. She stops and looks into the forest, but doesn't see anything. "Hello?" The lens to her helmet glows as it starts to scan the area. It locks onto a heat signature. A large monkey like creature swings something and throws it at her. A loud screech is heard and looks up. The monkey swings out of the forest in her direction. She rips the vine off and jumps out of the way before the monkey tackles her. The monkey rolls on the ground and quickly gets up as they face each other.
