"Then I would say, to be on the safe side you need animal control alerted, check with local zoo's or even exotic pet owners see if anyone has failed to mention the loss of any species." "Of course, we have four dead people and the possibility that whatever is doing this is going to continue."

Sarah closed her little note book "I can call Ben Mears he's our local Ranger the best around here. Ben knows the hills better than anyone else he'll be more than willing to take us in." Her hand was picking up the receiver of her phone as she spoke.

"What do you mean us?" Mulder asked.

"This is my jurisdiction and you both look like the type who don't hike every week, you'll need all the help you can get and an extra gun might come in handy."
