'You're welcome,' I said, looking at the time.

'Can I have a kiss?' he asked, looking at me.

'Andrew please, I have to go,' I said, looking at him now.

I felt my head becoming warm, and my stomach turned.

'I think I'll go have a lie down. Thanks mom,'

'Okay, drink lots of water,' she said.

'Okay...' I hung up and put the phone back.

I lay down on the couch holding my head.

I closed my eyes to try to comfort this disturbing feeling I had.

I drifted off into a light sleep.

I sat up startled, breathing heavily.

A shadow moved across my wall, and I blinked rapidly to see if I was dreaming or not.

The shadow was gone, but my heart was pounding.

Guess the sleep didn't really help... Now I'm seeing things...

I looked over to the clock and it read 5:00. I work in an hour.

I sat up slowly, as my head felt like a rock.

I began walking over to my kitchen to grab a glass of water. My throat felt like sandpaper.

I poured the picture of water into my cup, dropping it the second I felt a hand appear on my shoulder.

I screamed, only to be met with an embracing hug from behind.

'I...I... Who are you? Get out of my house right now before I call the...'

That voice... It sounds so strangely familiar.

I was breathing so fast, I could hardly keep up with myself.

Those are the eyes... The very eyes I looked into years ago.. The deep, dark brown eyes with a hint of mint green stormed into them as well.

She looked at me with a face of sadness but relief.

'I loved you too Daniel, and I still do... It's not your fault you had to go... I have missed you for all these years.. Please... Please don't leave me again... Please Daniel...' she cried into my chest, and I held her head.

'I won't leave you again... I promise you...' I said, placing a kiss to her head.

'Daniel... How did you come into my house? How did you find me?...' she asked, looking up at me.

I took in a deep breath.

'Early this morning Kate... I was killed in a car crash... I'm still the Daniel you knew, this is my presence of him though... God sent me down to see you and my family... One last time...'

I shockingly got off my counter, and resumed to regular schedule.
