Unless it's possible to change its genetics back to either male or female, it's too late to gripe. We'll deal with those consequences together. Tonight, though, we celebrate! Even though it's a work night, we're going to open wine with dinner. The embryo can't be affected by alcohol until it actually implants, so it might be your last chance to get drunk, instead."

Author's Note: I am not entirely satisfied with this chapter, so I'm really hoping for some constructive feedback on how to improve it. It was hard trying to balance the anger that Dan and Nancy would reasonably be feeling with the need to get them sexually involved with Cathy so they could conceive. As well, writing a sex scene without love and with little lust was tough. I'm not sure I struck the right tone. There's a lot more to the story, but your comments might steer it between several alternative paths.

ender2k2kover 2 years agoIt is very complicated in its inception and will probably stay that way for awhile. If you want it to stay a more manageable story you should consider having the facts a tightly held secret. Once you let it out it would be difficult to keep it from spiraling into a much bigger story.
Either way I am looking forward to what you decide to write. Thanks for sharing your story.
