"She ah, she said.... she said she wasn't sure what she would be doing this week. She told me she'd get back to me after she talked to her dad." The 19 year old said. It was a nearly identical story from the rest of her friends. They had known about the trip for almost a month, and Jennifer's dad had no idea about it. Nor did her mother.

"Thank you. I'm sorry for intruding, Mr and Mrs Brown." The detective excused himself, and left the house. He drove back to the station. He didn't know how he was going to do it, but he had to convince his boss that this was not what he should be doing.

Mark Tesslaff had known Steven and his family since Steven was 13, when he first started running away. Steven was a smart kid. Although he hung around with some of the bad crowd, Steven had nothing but runaway complaints and one shoplifting charge in the file. If Steven had figured out a way to disappear, the kid was gone, never to be found.

The protective side of Mark appeared. He did like that kid. That wasn't the way it was at first though. It had taken quite a scene in the detention area before Mark realized what that poor Blitzen kid had been through.

A Manitowoc County Sheriff's deputy had brought in a 14 year old Steven Blitzen. Steven was armed with a hunting knife. There was talk of the kid's 12 gauge shotgun, but it wasn't on his person and was supposed to be hidden under a van near Steven's girlfriend's cousins house. Mark stood up when he overheard the conversation.

"Deputy? Is that the Blitzen kid in holding?" Mark walked over to the slightly overweight man.

"Yeah, found him on Dairyland drive, said he was headed to his girlfriends house in....." The deputy looked at his notes. Mark filled in the blank

"In Cleveland. Yeah, I know this kid. You say the gun is over at the girlfriends cousins house?" Mark asked.

"Yeah that's what the boy said." The deputy read it off his notes. Mark looked at his Lieutenant.

"L-T, I know right where that is, and what van he's talking about. I caught Steven over there before." The lieutenant looked up from his desk and waved Mark off.

"Go and get it Tesslaff!"

Mark found a large duffel under the rusted out van behind Melinda Hofstadter's house. Inside were clothes, pictures, notebooks and a Savage 12 gauge pump. He found 10 rounds rolling at the bottom of the duffel and the gun was not loaded.

He returned to the station to see the Blitzen kid's parents in the room next to the interview rooms. The step-father was asking questions at a fever pitch and Marks colleagues were deflecting them. Mark walked up to the Sargent and said he had the gun and duffel. Paul Talbot, the step-dad, over heard this, and it sent him into a rampage.

"I'm gonna kill that little shit. You don't have to lock him up, cause he'll be DEAD!" Mark turned to look at the enraged man, who was now being restrained by his fellow officers. He was clearly a violent person with a trigger temper. Mark helped subdue the large man and handcuff him to the chair he had been sitting on.

Mark made a decision right then. If he ever saw Steven on the street again, he wasn't going to report it, he wasn't going to haul him back to his parents. From now on he, and a few of his friends were going to help keep Steven OUT of the Blitzen household. Three weeks later he had seen Steven on the street near the local roller rink. He stopped Steven. Steven halted upon his name being called and seeing Mark's patrol car.

"Steven, you eat today?" Mark asked. Mark noticed his clothes were dirty, his hair was a mess.

"Just some pastries at Lynn's house this morning." Lynn was the girlfriend that lived in Cleveland. The kid had biked out there everyday to see her. Sometimes that was a 50 mile round trip, depending on where he started from. Mark reached into his wallet and pulled out a $10 bill.

"Here, take this. Go down to the Burger King and get a whopper and some fries. Use the change to get smokes, or whatever. BUT! I don't want to see you out after midnight tonight...." Mark watched his reaction to see if Steven had plans for a place to sleep. Steven nodded and agreed quickly, which meant he was either biking back to Cleveland that evening or would be staying at his best friend's house.

".....If I see you out here, I'll have to take you to the station. Okay?" Mark was confident that Steven knew how to take care of himself, yet there were always a couple weirdos that liked skinny under aged boys. Steven nodded.

"Thank you officer...." The boy looked at his name badge. "Tesslaff. I won't forget this, I'll be off the streets by 11pm sir!" Mark drove away. He knew that Steven would keep his word.

Mark sat at his desk. If Steven took his sister with him, it must mean that the abuse had started with her too. He thought. He wanted to put Paul Talbot behind bars, but without seeing the beating himself he was powerless. Mark decided the best thing he could do, was nothing. He had confidence in the cunning kid. Yet...the protective side of him wanted to make sure Steven and Jenny were safe. If I run into them I'll ask, and see if they need help. No reason to drag them in for petty theft. They were adults now after all. Mark closed the folder and filed it. He moved on to the next case, a bungled weed buy where someone had left behind half of the 200 lbs of weed.

July 10th 2019

Steven measured the log for a third time. He had missed the mark by more then two inches. He sat on top of the middle of the 6 inch wide log and used the hatchet to re-carve the nook. It was only the third mistake they had made. Steven hummed to himself. The entire inner wall was nearly finished. The mud was drying well on the lower sections. Steven set the log in place and climbed the 10 feet down to the ground.

Jenny was preparing dinner, she had trapped a rabbit and was skinning it. as he approached her. She looked angelic in the slight glow of the firelight in the dusk of the day, even with rabbit blood spatter on her face. He smiled.

"Last one up?" Jenny asked as she looked up.

"Yup. Now we do the easy part. The outside walls. Do you think my chimney idea will work?"

"Baby, just like everything else, we will find out the hard way. Clay and stones might make for a good chimney." Jenny looked back down as she gutted the rabbit.

The pet names came natural to them now. They were in love. What once was the savage sibling rivalry, was now a whirling, heavenly romance.

"Then I'm glad we left a spot for it. Any veggies tonight?" Steven asked, Jenny frowned.

"I found a bunch of chives growing next to the mound by the oaks. I was going to cook them inside the rabbit for flavor. Other than pussy willow roots, I couldn't think of anything else to do."

"Yuck, those are nasty. I guess we'll have to have some needle tea for vitamin C then." Steven sighed. He couldn't wait for the garden to start producing vegetables. They had four cases of mason jars, and would can most, but the fresh veggies would taste amazing at this point. The berries around them had been extinguished a week ago.

"Tea it is then love. Oh! I nearly forgot! There is a fresh deer trail nearby. It will come in handy when we can actually keep the meat." Jenny ripped out the last of the guts and placed the headless rodent on a forked stick over the fire.

"Excellent! You find a good tree stand?" Steven asked as he washed his hands in the bucket of stream water.

"Oh yeah, easy to climb with a great sitting spot. I did the climb myself today." Jenny washed her hands as well when Steven was finished. Steven noticed she was distracted, way too business like.

"What's wrong Jenny?" He looked into her eyes as she rinsed her hands off. She acted surprised at the question at first, but she knew there was no hiding anything from her older brother and lover.

"I should have had a period two weeks ago." She looked back in his eyes. Upon completion of the sentence she saw fear in his eyes, then slowly.....it turned to joy. He didn't speak. He reached out and grabbed both of her hands in his own. Finally he said one word.

"March." Was all he said.

They lay next to the fire sipping beer. Steven had finally spoken after a long period of deep thought while they ate. He glowed with confidence about having a family. It reassured Jenny that he was excited and thought that they had a good chance raising a child.

The following morning they began to erect the outer walls and finish the sealing of the inner wall. It took almost four weeks to get the walls, roof, and fireplace finished. It would have been much easier if Steven had harvested trees near them, but he insisted on keeping their cover intact. They took another week to piece together river rocks for flooring. By the end of August they were making furniture. The first thing they made was a bed off of the ground, followed by a couple of chairs and a table. The first attempts, and in many cases the second, and third, failed miserably. Rope and nails were the only things they had to use as fasteners. When a build failed, the rope and nails would have to be reused. Jenny was not very good at nailing, so many of the nails were ruined.

Planing wood was a task that drove Steven crazy, but to make furniture it was needed. While Steven made chairs and tables, Jenny kept up the garden which was finally producing vegetables. It was now time to can food for the long winter. Jenny battled morning sickness as she harvested and canned food. Steven hunted and fished, drying much of the meat and canning the rest.

September 9th 2019

The heat hadn't abated. It had to be in the upper 80's yet again. Steven sat in the shade across the river from the house. He quietly used green wood branches to weave and built a cradle for his child. It was going to be a surprise for Jenny, so he had to sneak off everyday for an hour or two to add to it.

He took as much time away from her as he could. She was sick almost everyday, and was always cranky. He tried to make her happy with small gestures, but it seemed to only make it worse. He had learned about the hormone imbalances that happen during pregnancy when he had health class. He knew that her moods could turn around at anytime.

Jenny was irritated. There was way too much work to be done in the sun drenched garden. Her brother had, yet again, disappeared. It seemed that whenever she began to work in the garden he would find something else that "needed" to be done either on the other side of the valley or...god knows where.

As she pulled weeds with endless nausea, she grumbled to herself.

"Good enough to fuck, good enough for babies, not good enough to help when I feel miserable...fucking dick!" She dug out a deep cluster of dandelions. Jenny was feeling a gambit of emotions. She made love to her brother every morning and night because she was head over heels in love with him. Yet all day she cursed his existence. Maybe it was the heat.

Some of the carrots were ready, as were the beets and potatoes. A smile crept across her face. She ran and grabbed a hand woven basket.

"Steven will be so pleased when he smells these beets!" She giggled.

Steven carried the finished cradle across the river. Jenny heard him crossing, and ran to him.

"We have vegetables!" Jenny started. "What is that?"

"It's our babies bed!" Steven sloshed to the bank and was hugged by Jenny.

October 13th, 2019

The leaves were falling. The crops were harvested and canned. What mason jars they had left they used to can rabbit, squirrel and choice cuts of venison. Steven figured that if he could keep sections of the river free of ice, the fish traps might work year round.

It was about this time that their battery operated radio reported strange news. As the pair listened, Steven was reminded of a play he did in eighth grade. "The War of the Worlds" it had been. It talked of bombed out cities, and entire populations of people disappearing. Before they could find out exactly what was happening, the radio began to lose reception. It would come back during commercials sometimes, but then would go out again. Eventually it stopped getting reception altogether. Steven cursed because he liked to listen to the Green Bay Packer games. They tried switching out batteries, but still no stations came in. They put the radio in storage after trying for a couple days to get it to work.

The roof turned out to hold up rather well during a wind storm and other than one minor leak, was water proof. Steven fixed it before the snow began to fall. The fireplace stayed solid even after heavy rains. The house was ready for the next summers thunderstorms. What Steven wondered was how well it would hold up to hundreds of pounds of snow.

A few nights later Steven and Jenny laid in the bed near the fireplace. Steven admired how Jenny's belly had begun to protrude. They had been discussing baby names when something above them seemed to tear the sky in half. It was the loudest thing they had ever heard. The sound repeated as they scrambled to the door. They looked up as a third fiery blur raced past their valley.

Jenny looked confused until Steven spoke.

"F-22's...In a big fucking hurry." He said

"What kind of planes are those." Jenny had no military or even aviation knowledge.

"Warplanes. Interceptors actually. Strange they would be in this area. Judging from the angle, I'd say they are headed to Chicago. Must be an important college game. They have jets fly over in the beginning of games." Steven thought of another possibility, but let the idea stay in his head. No reason to worry an already emotional pregnant teenager.

Steven was nearly certain that the North Koreans had finally made good on their threat and talked the Chinese or Russians into invading. Yet he was confused, it should have been put down quickly. How could they have gotten this deep into the U.S.?? The Navy alone could have squashed their crossing via plane or ship!

Being in the deep thick old growth forest protected them. The closest major city was Sheboygan to the east, or Fond Du Lac to the west. Neither were military targets. Steven began to think of other scenarios, none of which made a lot of sense. He looked at Jenny who was now in her handmade rocking chair, looking nervous. She didn't buy his "Football game" explanation after she saw his problem solving face.

"Jenny, don't worry baby, it's most likely nothing. If we heard distant explosions...then we could worry." Steven knelt next to her. She rubbed her belly with both hands and looked at him.

"Okay Daddy, if you say so." She reached out for him, and he hugged her. She had just started calling him that, and had taken a much more submissive position to him. He loved both. As they made love she cried out his new title over and over.

"Oh yes Daddy, I need it, fill me with your cum!"

January 22nd 2020

It was now clear that the garden hadn't been big enough. Jenny's calculations had been way off. They were already rationing, with another 4 months of winter to go. They found themselves on an almost solid meat diet, as the fishing was still half as fruitful as it had been, and Steven was able to track, and kill deer and rabbits. The only thing that had worked out was the stockpile of wood Steven had harvested. They were constipated, but they were warm.

Jenny was seven months along and miserable. Her 4 foot, 11 inch frame was over burdened by the rather large child in her belly. Much to Steven's pleasure, her glowing soul was constantly horny. They fucked like rabbits through the cold months, as they had little else to do. They worked on improving their furniture and even making blankets with deer hides. It was good that they had figured it out, as the temperatures had dipped below 0, and refused to come back above it.

Jenny had completely submitted to her brother. She bent to his will completely. She called him "Daddy", and recently had taken to calling him "Husband".

March 15th 2020

The ides of March. Stephanie Lynn Blitzen was born the day Julius had been stabbed to death. Steven looked at mother and daughter after the difficult birth. His heart was warm as he watched his daughter nurse for the first time.

.

Steven filled the wood bin next to the fireplace. He re-stoked the fire and crawled into bed with his sister. She was fast asleep with Stephanie asleep on her chest. He fell asleep.

He felt something wonderful. Jenny was working the head of his cock something fierce. Steven couldn't hold back, he released his jizz into the waiting mouth and felt it all disappear down the eager throat. Jenny gasped after swallowing his load.

"It's the least I can do Daddy, at least till my hole heals. Please give this girl another baby when I'm healed." She smiled up at him.

Fascinating

So very strange and odd how you told this tale of a semi normally urban teen life that then was somehow roped into a pending post apocalyptic scenario. Also I am concerned for Jennies Mental health towards the end of this chapter. I await more good sir or madam!

something tells me these two will be found and the stepfather goes to jail

Duhhhhhhhhhh..........

What the fuck is going on here? Are these two dirty commies or southern orphans?

Will they both be buggered or not? When will the deputy fist fuck old Granny from Michigan? Tits or grits?
