"Michael, it's a tiny wrapped box," she told me.

Marlene removed the paper and opened the box. "Monica, this is beautiful," she said. "Michael, it's a keychain with a dangling silver heart pendant. Monica, there is a key attached to it, what is that for?"

"It's to my daddy's house," Monica cried.

The gifts keep on pilling

I’m slowly getting the feeling you’re intentionally playing with my heart, but then again why do I complain if the story goes on! Sorry for misunderstanding it again that 7 is going to be the last, you have such way with words I was thoroughly confused. I’ll just sit here and patiently wait for more whenever it might come while stuffing myself with cookies to keep my mouth occupied.

You laid the events leading to that perfect Christmas like a symphony, each one a tad bit different yet all of them for their joint happiness.

Why am I not surprised that Margie & Dianne towed him to a sex shop? And then finally confession that those two do more than just work together, I’m happy for them to share such bond and enjoy each others company. I honestly feared for Michael when alone with those two, if it weren’t for Marlene he would be in a wheelchair by now. Thanks for including Diannes story as it gives the true perspective on her lovely persona, she came a long and proud way from abuse to torturing Michael for giggles. No wonder people at the firm love her so much. But now I’m unsure if the ever did anything with Marlene and if they really meant it with that invitation for a foursome, you can never be sure with those two.

The jewellery store was a completely new experience, not only did the prices shock him but the revelation of what he’s about to do and the fact that his family was for it almost more than him was astounding. Not to mention the fated silver gift paper. But it also reminded me of something - if his family is so loaded with money how come he only manages to come by so tightly? I know diamonds aren’t cheap but fainting for a pair of earrings and a necklace is quite harsh.

The Christmas eve showed just how much of a child is still inside them both, not just the presents ripping but also the sexy time. And yet t was an incredible being moment for them, about damn time for both of them to really enjoy the festive season. If Marlenes mom was lonely for Christmas, and some times before, why isn’t Michael ever staying over so they could enjoy the evening together? I know he has plans to get them under one roof but hose plans are far from execution at the present.

And even if the whole chapter melted my heart for various reasons, that last line turned my heart into a raging supernova! Hope those are happy tears :)

It might be the wish to put the double chapters out quicker or simply the Christmas spirit got to you a little sooner but there are a few errors here and there, mostly double letter at the start of words (“wwith” on page 5), some what I believe autocorrected words with different meaning (“brabbed” instead of “grabbed” on page 5), some swallowed letters here and there (picture without the “c” on page 4). I doesn't do anything for the quality of the story but I know how you strive to perfection so I just pointed them out for ya.

Do I have to repeat that I gave it a 5* rating? Because I did!
