He sighed, "Lockout security controls for twenty-four hours to anyone except me. Same for portal controls."

She yelled at Serius, "You are a stubborn bastard!"

He glared back, "Set lockout of the portal for 7 days except for me."

She looked wide-eyed as he stepped out and shouted, "I have a mission for the Queen!"

He shrugged, "I will tell her you got delayed. Seal portal."

He looked at the guard, "The crystal to the Queen."

He handed it to him. He activated it, "Your Majesty are you free to talk?"

He heard her chuckle, "I am on my way to court."

He smiled, "I just locked out the controls to my home for 7 days so if you are expecting Brima for anything she will be delayed."

The Queen yelled back, "What for?"

He smiled, "Your Majesty, she was being a bitch and she needed some alone time."

He deactivated the crystal and went to hit the teleporter crystal. The guard pulled it away. Serius pulled his sword on him, "Now you can tell her I was willing to cut or fry your balls off.

If you do not release that. He moved back. Serius went back and unsealed the house with the other one and picked it up. The guard sighed as Serius walked out just as the crystal buzzed on the table. He dropped the stone and teleported just outside of the bank. He walked inside and looked at the lady, "Need to know how much I have in my account, Serius Silvertree."

She looked, "You are not old enough to access that account."

He sighed, "Balance, not a withdrawal."

She wrote it down.

He nodded," I have access to this account. I want 500,000 gold pieces. She looked it over and nodded. She gave him the money. He stepped outside to see city guards and royal guards headed for House Silvertree and the main gate. He went into the stable area and stored his saddle and bridle away in a bag of holding. He then changed to be an elf-blooded. He walked to the back gate leading north and walked right through. Once outside he teleported to the border of the shield for Quatarsia on the south end.

He walked inside and teleported out to the pasture. He looked over. "I am Serius Silvertree. My last horse fell in a battle at the palace 6 months ago. I am in need of a new stallion."

Serius heard in his mind, "We have been told not to release a horse to you. The Queen is looking for you."

He nodded and thought back, "I am the Champion of Corellon Larethian like my father before me. I have been held against my will since the attack at the palace in which I was called out as a hero. Then jailed because of my age. I will go without one of you if I must."

He looked back and saw riders approaching. He sighed, He teleported to the road border with two horses trapped in his circle. He stepped through, "You can let them know they brought this on themselves. He changed forms again as he walked away. One of them followed him. He looked at him, "You offering to help me out?"

He heard, "Yes. To a point."

He looked at him and whispered, "Regin."

He heard the stallion chuckle. He got him saddled up as the riders teleported to outside of the shield. He teleported away to the village of Moon Blade. He assumed his normal form with violet eyes as he saw him riding toward him. He looked at Serius, "The Queen is looking everywhere for you."

He nodded, "I know. I locked my mothers and siblings in the shelter for 7 days."

He chuckled, "Why did you do that?"

He thought to his horse, "Tell his horse who I am."

Mon Ray's eyes went wide with the implication. "I have been locked up too long."

Master Trainer Mon Ray shook his head, "I have been told to bring you back to the city. Serius pointed at the crystal, "Check again. Remind her I have been to fourteen other shelters used to secure our people. I can access any one of them."

He pulled out a crystal, "Your Majesty, I have located Young Silvertree. He knows you are looking for him and he is in an agitated state at the moment. He said something about access to fourteen other shelters."

He heard her groan, "Fine if he will release his mother from the shelter I will not try and have her hold him."

Serius nodded, "He signaled he would, Your Majesty."

Serius rode off and teleported to the main gate. The guards let him in. One went to put manacles on him and he teleported him a thousand feet above house Silvertree. His horse was not an elven warhorse. He slammed to the ground.

Serius went over and asked him as he laid there, "I can stop the bleeding. The question is did you get orders in the last few seconds to have manacles put on me?"

He nodded. Serius cast cure light wounds on him. "Until other clerics arrive."

Serius walked up to the house which had the doors open. He cut one off of its hinges. The guard looked annoyed that he thwarted his trap. He opened the portal and yelled inside, "Release control lockout in one hour. Release portal lockout now."

Serius picked up the crystal to the Queen and walked out, "Your Majesty, they will be released in one hour. One guard who attempted to attack me is laying in the Silvertree estates next to and under his dead horse. We came in at 1,000 feet. I ensured he would not bleed out but that violated our agreement."

She sighed, "Please tend to the guard. I will set it up so you are not hassled on the way out of the city."

He looked at the house guards, "Get that carcass off the guard."

They moved and got it off of the guard. Serius set his legs and shackled his hands. Then set his broken arm. He cast a heal into him. Serius got back on his horse and rode out. He saw a small group of city guards coming from the palace district and he rode in the other direction. They followed at a distance talking on a crystal. Serius took to the air and saw another six in the air. Serius teleported them onto the wall above the main gate.

Serius thought, "Jump I will teleport us away after that." He jumped off the wall and once they cleared the shield, Serius teleported them to shelter 7 and opened the access for it. They flew inside.

He let a smile cross his face, "Set security controls to respond only to me for the next 2 days, Security wall up."

He took the horse in the back and brushed him down. He laid out his bedroll in the doorway to block it open.

He activated the teleport blocker and room lockout. He fed the horse and ate himself.

He went to sleep, woke up later, prayed, and dressed. He packed up just as the portal opened. There were four of them. One was being cocky, "Mistake leaving the portal open." He smiled, "Seal portal!" The guy looked surprised. Serius smiled at him, "You want to tell your friend what kind of problem you are facing Dear uncle? The fact he is in a spike trap!"

He looked at them and then to Serius, "What do you want?"

Serius looked at him, "This pursuit to end before I do something drastic!"

He looked at him, "Like what?"

He shook his head, "Such as activating what you are standing in! I gave the Queen the knowledge of these 14 shelters figuring if she was not going to keep her word yet again that I would get a visit from you. She has broken her word 3 times now. You know what the Lady of Dreams told me before I started this little adventure?"

He shook his head.

Serius smiled, "Good luck. I took that as divine direction, which overrules a Queen."

He laughed, "Let us out of here."

Serius looked at him, "Your three friends can go. I need to talk with you." He nodded. "Unseal portal." They stepped out, "Seal portal set access control only openable by me for 3 years. Set security controls only to me for 3 years."

He looked at Serius, "Was that necessary?"

He nodded, "YES!"

His uncle raised his hands, "I get it, you want to be left in peace."

Serius shook his head, "Did the elven Queen relay that a Tiefling and Solar were in her court? Just 6 months back?"

He shook his head. He looked at him, "Security wall down. You know and I know if the outer-planes are getting involved in this something big is going to happen."

He nodded, "I will agree with that statement."

He sighed and roared out, "Like my father because of my age I am being dismissed! Even after saving her life, delivering her child, and getting the dragons into the palace to work those in the courtyard. I did not get so much as a scratch but I am the one in danger?! She refuses to listen to the champion on the field, you tell me who is in danger here!"

He sighed and nodded, "What do you want?"

Serius smiled, "To be left alone and not imprisoned. I will have it if leaving the kingdom is the only way."

He sighed and nodded. Serius looked at him, "They try and force web me as I go out and I will just teleport away."

He smiled and walked toward the portal. "Open portal."

He stepped out, "Remove locks for security and portal. They rode out and sure as shit Regin and Serius got hit by a force web. Serius thought, "Teleport sixty thousand feet above shelter three."

They disappeared and fell for a while and the spell wore off. He heard Regin, "You played that close."

Serius growled and thought, "Teleport Pegasus Island." They appeared over a shallow landmass. The volcano had cooled off with the Magma dragon gone for so long. He went to the location as the sword knew it.

He opened the portal and rode inside. He sighed, "Give it a few minutes."

They looked around and Serius sighed, "A lot was lost here."

He heard a voice behind him, "Yes there was."

He turned and took a knee for Corellon Larethian. He chuckled, "Stand my champion."

Serius did so.

He nodded, "You should return to Quatarsia tomorrow. Your mother and the Queen will hear from me."

Serius shook his head, "I respectfully ask that any future wielder be an adult. That way they never have to deal with this crap. It seems like all you are doing is training royalty on how to fucking listen. Until you are an adult they will not listen, that is a lesson to the Gods. I have no trust in her now. Now I question if she is under the influence of this Tiefling."

Corellon Larethian looked at Serius, "I could bring them here."

He mounted up, "Outside on the island."

He nodded. Serius made for the portal and opened it. He went outside and landed on the Black sandy beach and waited. Not long and the two ladies were 20 feet from him. Brima, his mother looked at him, "Where have you been and how did we get here?"

Serius pointed to have her look behind her. Brima and the Queen turned and they took a knee. Corellon Larethian sighed, "Rise you two. You have the best intentions but you are smothering him. He may not be an adult but he still outwitted your forces and the dragon forces you sent after him. You forced him to do it alone and he did it alone.

If not for the Stallion he named 'Regin', for obvious reasons. He spent 30 years in Quatarsia with no issues. Saved your life and delivered your son. You, my Queen, would not even know he was the champion if not for the Dragon Champion."

The Queen was about to say something and he held up a hand, "Serius has something to say."

He looked at her, "Just over 6 months ago I told you of a Tiefling and who he was talking to in your court. My assumption is you dismissed me as you did your own word to me multiple times instead. It made me wonder if you were under the influence of the Tiefling."

Serius turned to Brima, "Your mission to the Queen was so important until I took off. Why don't you just admit you have a new lover. Do not lie to me either. If I am right, I got one of Eldar's God senses and I can hear the heartbeat of the unborn child in you."

She looked over at Corellon Larethian who only nodded, "He has unlocked a couple already that he knows of and has not mentioned to you. Including the god ability on his sword."

She sighed, "I started seeing someone about 10 years ago. I was waiting for all of you to be out of the house."

He laughed, "When I am 300?"

She sighed, "Alright I have been overprotective of you but locking me in my own home."

Serius glared and shouted at her, "Our family home also called the prison for a reason, my jailer Mother! Every other child of yours has free reign to travel around the city some to other parts of the kingdom. I bring an issue to light and then pull off something heroic and I am locked up.

I provide information just like previous champions. You dismiss what I tell you and it will hurt. Not from me but what we are facing. Expect Majisa to be contacting you about the Tiefling. I mentioned it to my uncle right before the force web. I can still think.

The sword teleported me away to another location at a really high altitude to avoid crashing into the ground. You had no guarantee that the dragons would have caught me before I hit the ground, YOU put me in danger.

Those shelters are not that high to give more than a single attempt at best. He gave it a try after I let his men out of the spike trap entranceway instead of killing them and the dragon champion. I knew you would send him. I knew they would be trapped and dead if I chose to kill them.

He made sure the others knew who was trapped. Who held all the coins as it were? I was tempted to join an adventuring group to scout for the Knights. I still am tempted to move away from this Kingdom!"

She sighed.

The Queen only nodded, "I have not followed up much with the Tiefling. Gold Sword has a long and distinguished history."

Serius smiled, "So did Goldbar and Goldleaf. Maybe because they are gold houses you are less inclined to investigate until after you are attacked? That is a bias you cannot afford to have. Every champion you have had has been a Moon elf, yet you continue to hold gold-elves or high-elves to a higher standard of proof before you take action upon them. The actual bias you need to face, consider it divine direction. "

She sighed out, "I will have a closer look with a private review of their house financial records."

Serius smiled, "You wanted to know what this place or where this place was. Seventy years ago, it was a volcanic opening. It was what was left of Pegasus Island. The King, that was reluctant to listen to his god.

The god, who held on so tightly to his followers that they all died as those who followed them stopped listening in some cases. You are on what remains of a proud people. Black soot and not a bone anywhere.

Their existence would be completely forgotten if not for what is in the Silvertree Library. If I had to guess that is why Corellon Larethian brought you here is to see the future for the elven people could be like. What it would have been like if not for Eldar and then Jazzia's efforts."

Corellon Larethian nodded, "Very perceptive is he not?"

They both nodded to him. He waved a hand and sent them back. He looked at Serius, "Go back to work. You will be old enough soon enough."

Serius nodded and teleported to Dragon lands and tried for the force wall and got through. "Please let Majisa know I am here. Also, inform her teleportation is currently open."

He looked at Serius, "Who are you?"

He smiled, "The elusive elf she has had some of her dragons searching for today."

He nodded and got on a crystal and spoke in Draconic, "The child you were looking for arrived. Said teleportation was open."

Serius looked over and in draconic, "I am far from a child just shy of being an adult. I still outsmarted your best dragon assets."

He looked miffed and he heard Majisa laugh, "Those searching for him just returned, that is why it was open. I am on my way."

His uncle was the first to arrive, "Did you get bored?"

He shook his head, "No doing what Corellon Larethian told me to do. Get back to work."

He chuckled, "Does your Queen know?"

He nodded, "As does Brima after he pulled them halfway around the world, and the four of us, five if you count Regin, had a talk. I told you force web would not work."

He nodded, "You bruised a few egos."

Serius nodded, "The secret is to not get too cocky like your one friends."

He smiled, "Actually another one of your uncles."

Serius chuckled at that. Majisa showed up, "The Elven Palace went into a complete uproar when your Queen disappeared."

He nodded, "Divine power of the Gods. Did you tell her I was here?"

She nodded, "I thought I could hear her rolling her eyes. She said to leave you be. If you were here it was for a reason."

He nodded, "Yes." He opened the shelter they were standing next to and rode inside. She chuckled. He looked around, "We need an empty room."

She nodded and took them to a room at the side, "We can borrow this one." He went inside. He pulled out the three crystals and locked it down. Serius looked at her, "My uncle told you about the Tiefling?"

She shook her head and they appeared to be having a conversation. She sighed, "Thank you for letting me know. That is very concerning."

He shook his head, "Queen Goldeagle taking no action was very concerning. Now she plans to take minimal action and that is even more concerning. I came about the base for the Knights. When Corellon Larethian said to get back to work, I was wondering how the search was going. He did not tell me to go back to Quatarsia. Which is where I will be living again."

She nodded, "We found a location. Middle of nowhere. Your uncle found it. Your horse will have a tough time getting down the incline. Serius nodded, "We will manage. He survived a force web. Please remind my uncle it is one of the dragon spells that I can cast as well."

He nodded, "I will warn, I mean let him know."

Majisa giggled and shook her head. Serius unsealed the room.

They went out to a small audience. His other uncle was present. Serius nodded to him as Majisa had a mental conversation with him.

---

Majisa thought to him, "Using a force web on a child and he still escaped you. Be glad he restrained himself. He could have killed all four of you in that entrance and let you go instead. He also has that spell, you could have fallen from that height if he were spiteful. You could have killed him as well with that action."

The Uncle responded, "He has no respect for his elders."

She thought back, "He is a champion, like your brother. Stop looking at his age. It will only get you into trouble. I warned Queen Goldeagle about champions rebelling if they refused to listen to them.

I have had more experience in that realm than she has and she ignored me, her 'elder' if you would. Yet, it was her mistake to make. Work to respect him and lose the attitude before it gets you into trouble. Go with him to the Knights base location."

---

Serius rode outside and waited for his uncles to arrive. They got next to him and teleported them to a location near dwarven lands. Closer than Serius would have liked.

He watched him walk down to the bottom and Serius teleported down to him. He nodded, "That works." His other Uncle just shook his head. Serius looked at Regin who was antsy.

Regin thought, "Something is wrong with this place."

Serius got down and walked around. He focused and figured it out. "We need to get out of here! This place is not safe!"

His cocky Uncle, "What is not safe?"

Serius looked at him, "The drow about 300-400 feet below this room or that wall being on the verge of cracking and the lava exploding into this room you picked."

He pointed, "That wall?"

Serius nodded, "He went to cast Serius looked at his other uncle, "Get my horse, take it back to the shelter!" Serius ran toward his other uncle as he hit it with a disintegrate.

The wall exploded and started filling in with magma. Serius got to his unconscious form. Serius teleported him out minus one arm, the one he cast with. He sat down and started casting onto him and got the regeneration going. Serius cleared some debris and set several broken bones the uncle suffered from exploding rocks. Then Serius healed him up. His arm was still growing back slowly.
