Soulmates Ch. 04

Eric had quickly changed his mind about wanting those females around his mate now. He looked over to Billy and Tom and said, "This is the first and last time they come here. I don't want them telling Maria any more stories about me."

The men looked at each other and cringed, Billy answering, "No, where we go, they go. Got no choice now."

Eric growled They hadn't said no to one of his requests in years and now they decide to say no to him now when he has his mate. "And why not?" He questioned as he stalked towards them.

Tom smiled a little nervously. "Because we can't let them out of our sights for the next few months."

Eric got closer to the two men. "And why not?" he repeated.

It was Billy's turn to smile nervously. "Cause, we're having pups and you know what expected dads are like."

That made Eric stop moving towards them. "Both?"

Billy and Tom nodded quickly with big smiles across their lips. "We found out yesterday We're having pups!" Tom almost shouting.

Eric and Richard both moved towards them and shook their friends hands. "Congratulations. We're happy for you."

After a quick chat about the expecting, and taking the last measurements, the men headed back upstairs to their women.

Dee looked down then over to Kaira and Natalie with wide eyes. "Oh My God! Why didn't you tell me!" she yelled and went over to the women, giving them a hug from the side. "Congrates hunnies."

Both women laughed. "Thank you and we didn't want to tell you til the boys were ready," Natalie answered.

Maria looked a little confused and Ulisi smiled. "Their both pregnant, my dear." Looking over to the two. "Congratulations."

Maria smiled brightly. "Congratulations!"

Dee held her hands above the womens stomachs. "I guess that's one good thing about your situation When one is preg, the other is as well." Hugged them again before sitting back down in her seat.

Kaira nodded. "Yea, the hospital is gonna hate us again. They hated the last time when we forced them to have us all in the same birthing suite. It was funny as and it confused them big time."

Maria watched their joy but it was confusing her as well. Natalie noticed the look and grinned. "They knew who our partners were, but they were a little shocked when both men helped talk us thru it and then when Kaira has a pure thylacine pup and me having a cross bred of wolf and cougar, they got confused big time and couldn't understand our relationship to each other."

Maria nodded a little and had to admit. "I'm not sure if I fully understand your relationships either," she said softly.

Kaira smirked. "We just think of ourselves as one big happy orgy. We're open to our sexuality and all of us plays both sides, so to speak. So we hook up," pointing to herself and Natalie, "And the boys hook up together as well. Once Nat and Tom understood Billy and my relationship and how it works and what not, they where more into the sharing and caring. And when we told them we wanted more babies and them as the birth parents."

Natalie finished the sentence off. "We were all in for that idea. And it seems that if one of us is pregnant, the other is as well. And this will be our fourth litter together. The first ten years together, it was really hard on all of us. Either Kai or I would be pregnant but when it was born, it was a still birth. But as soon as we were pregnant together, the litter was perfect. And that's when we started to go into heat together. Their elders told us after our first that now that we're in-sync with each other, the rest will be perfect."

Half way thru the conversation, the men arrived back up on the floor and headed into the apartment Richard and Eric headed over to the Nat and Kaira and gave them both a gentle hug. "Congratulations." Before going to their mates.

Maria smiled up to Eric when he walked behind her and laced her fingers with his when he rested his hands on her shoulders.

He didn't want to change the mood of the room but knew time was getting away from them and looked over to Ulisi. "Do you have everything you need for the cycle?"

She nodded. "Everything is prepared for the trip. We'd just have to make a quick trip home to pick up the bags inside the door."

Eric nodded and kissed the top of Maria's head. "I want to do it on this cycle instead of waiting for the next."

Billy looked down at Natalie and she nodded, the two couples stood up. "We got everything we need so we'll see you in a weeks time." They headed out to the lift, leaving the brothers and their partners alone.
