Yes I am, though the idea for this story was sparked by another "What If" novel entitled "Bring the Jubilee" by Ward Moore. I did incorporate the single name idea from Turtledove's novel "How Few Remain." I'm a steampunk fan, so I had to have airships in here. And electrics cars being prevalent was inspired by the episode "Bad Company" in an obscure Western entitled "Peacemakers" that sadly only lasted one season.more...
