Corrections back from readers; submitted today. Waiting to see how many errors I missed...
OMG, did you see that one?! WTF is that supposed to mean? (Just practicing.) :)
Nearly done. Work is hectic with relicensing. Heart tests took a lot out of me. I was weak as a kitten for 2 days afterward. More days when I can't sit upright for more than short periods. Hope they find something to help me function. Plugging away on the last sections of 20.
Thank you for your patience. May you have a safe, healthy, and successful holiday season, and all the joy and happiness you can stand. Slainté
Up to 150 pages, and about 3/4 of the way through all the things that are supposed to happen in chapter 20. Hoping to wrap it up in the next week or so and get it to my readers before mid-Nov. I've outlined the next seven chapters after that, and I intend to use that to keep myself from unexpected tangents. Admittedly, that works some of the time but not always.
I've been doing a little work on structurally organizing all the chapters into books based on length. Future chapters will have numbered and named sections like I have been doing with recent postings.
FWIW --
Chapters 01-10 are (122k words) Book 1 -- Janetta
Chapters 11-14 are (153k words) Book 2 -- High Guard
Chapters 15-17 are (157k words) Book 3 -- Descent
Chapters 18-19 are (144k words) Book 4 -- Command
Chapter 20 begins Book 5 -- Atlantis Rising, and its chapter title is "Paying the Devil His Due With Interest."
Thanks for sticking around. Slainté
