I'm afraid there's something you don't understand. "Gent: The Magazine for Wild Men and Tamed Women" is a magazine about domination, and we do accept fiction submissions; however, all three of the stories you've sent us have been about men being hypnotized into serving women. Obviously, this is exactly the sort of thing we can't publish. Might I suggest that your next story that you send in to us involve a woman being hypnotized into serving a man? While I do understand the writer's maxim, "Persistence pays off", I have to tell you that you're definitely on the wrong track. This latest story is probably the best yet (and to answer the question you posed in your cover letter, yes, I do get aroused while reading them-- your style is one of the sexiest I've read in my time as editor of this magazine.) In fact, I've been circulating a few copies around the office, and several of the guys have been praising your talent; however, we all agree that there's simply no way the story could make it into the magazine without substantial alterations. To be honest, I was actually somewhat surprised that you waited so long to send us another of your stories. After receiving one every six weeks like clockwork, I found myself missing your latest attempt to get published. Your latest story is another classic.

Unfortunately, it's another classic we still can't publish. Believe me, I've thought long and hard about how to get these into print--I believe everyone deserves to read these works.
