Kaitlyn had been my best friend since middle school and knew me too well. "I thought so! You know he's still pining after you,"

I knew. He had been asking me out every couple of weeks but I always refused.

"You really should give him another chance. You know he hasn't dated anyone else since he got back. He wants you."

"Kaitlyn, how can I trust him anymore."

"Susie, he's not going with anyone or anything. He's barely looked at another woman since he got back. He wants you and no-one else. I worry about him."
