The Wolf was a smokescreen. For both himself, and the other crime lords on Earth. Alex and Bella were nothing more than props, just like the captives before them.
Yet, Alex couldn't help remembering the disgust he'd felt at Maureen and Zander's flagrant interest. His contempt for their soft minds, their immature outlooks. Before being taken by the Wolf, Alex had never questioned the obsession most of the people of the Moon had with the Wolf, even if he hadn't shared it. Even then, he'd at least been intrigued by it, he'd always listened to the media stories about the Wolf. Now he felt as though those memories belonged do a different man altogether. A different man, with a different life.
The man he was now, the man he was becoming, was starting to disturb him.

Wow Alex is feeling like he is becoming more and more like the Wolf as each day passes. Maybe the Wolf is grooming Alex as his replacement?

Though I hate the Wolf, I too, am beginning to understand him. Looking forward to seeing his master plan unveiled. Will Alex and Bella even want to return by the end? Perhaps they'll join the Wolf's team, undercover on the moon... like the others? Can't wait to find out!more...
