As the gentle rocking of the moored pleasure craft and their own exhaustion lulled them both to sleep, Jack wondered how long she would stay with him. She hadn’t even hinted and he didn’t want to break the spell of the moment. However long it would be, he was certain that they would make some memories to hold them until the next time they could be together. And he knew there would be a next time.
He also knew that it wouldn’t be soon enough.
