The lieutenant picked the card up and looked at it, he didn't know much about these things, really just enough to keep him out of trouble. Sergeant Torson, on the other hand was an expert, as a matter of fact, he was so good, that he was the only one assigned here that had the training and could repair a Cyborg. "Or it could be something else. Like the company is using substandard parts, or some kind of sabotage."

The lieutenant looked at him surprised, "Sabotage? Are you serious Sergeant?"

Lucas shook his head, "No, I'm not kidding sir. Look, I know this company that makes the cards, I had a job offer from them before I joined Space Force. The lieutenant's eyebrows went up, "Really? I didn't know they'd... mingle with us."

Lucas nodded once more, "Normally no, but I needed to find out something one day and I figured most of this tech comes from them originally, maybe they could answer my question. I found out the answer, and one thing led to another, I helped them on something, then they asked me to dinner at their section. Then the lieutenant accessed the schedules and said, "Ok, I've got it, good work. Ah, there were ten new fighters delivered here and four are out doing the workups. They should be back tomorrow I believe."
