I would not agree to temporarily separation. I would try counciling and work it out problems. I would try to take a vacation to have alone time with wife. If sex was a one off and she hadn't had other lovers before but I had several, I would try to get past it and work it out. They didn't have nearly enough discussion in the front and he was to willing to go single makes me think he wanted out already.otherwise I think things would have been avoided or handled different.more...

Really

He should have told her that the day she moves out will be the day the divorce is instigated. Just might have brought her to her senses. If she still moved out the papers should have been served pronto. This might have stopped her before she did the deed.
Only problem with this is:- there wouldn't have been a story.
The pursuit of logical actions at all times would ruin all fiction. We just have to go with it and enjoy.more...
