The Arrival Ch. 02

"Well look who it is, how did you get back after we helped you find a nice place to lay down under the stars?" Harriet said kindly, with a heavy undertone of sarcasm and spite.

"Oh I just got up and walked back thanks again for showing me that spot. It really is good, I'm just glad that the mosquitoes didn't drain me dry." Alissa said, heavily hitting at the fact she nearly bled to death from the head wound.

Janice stutters out, "but that much, no way you could have come back alive," she said just loud enough for Alice and Aliandra to hear, they both looked at me shocked and Harriet grabbed Janice's hand and roughly squeezed it, "shut up." Harriet commanded quietly.

"Your welcome and I hope we see each other later, I'll look forward to getting the whole story." Harriet said and stalked away, the other two followed her looking back at Alissa in shock.

Aliandra grabbed Alissa's hand and asked, "What the hell was that about?"

Alissa looked at them both and sigh, "I'll explain everything at lunch, go to the nurse's office," Alissa said as she got up and asked one of the caterers about getting three medium lunch boxes. He smiled and handed her three, Alissa walked to the buffet table and filled all three with various breakfast foods and waved at her roommates as she headed out to class early.

As Alissa entered history class she looked at the professor and wave good morning, She sat down and pulled out her books as more students arrived.

As Alissa attended all her classes, She learned and felt Syll grew somehow. Not in size but in presences, *Syll what's going on, my head is starting to feel a bit heavy.* Alissa asked.

Syll replied quickly, *I'm sorry Alissa, it will disperse soon. I am just allocating this information throughout my cells within your body, it is painless and will help you for these tests that you dislike so much.*

Alissa look surprised and asked to her, *Wait so you're telling me that I am becoming smarter? Or that you're keeping this information saved within me to use freely?*

Syll thought and answered Alissa. *Yes and no, once there's too much information I will create a small dense container that will hold it all and keep it safe, every so often I'll increase its size as I put more information in it. I can however dedicate some cells to keep relevant information that you will need.*

Alissa did her best not to jump and shout with glee. *Thank you so much I'll be able to pass much easier and even find a good job. I'll still help you ok don't worry about that you've done too much for me not to help you.* Alissa said to Syll as the bell chimed, Alissa quickly stood and headed to the nurses officer.

Once She walked through the halls and around the girls going to lunch or their rooms, she turned into the large infirmary and saw that two out of 6 beds are occupied, Alissa spotted Amadia coming out of the last one with a mask and throwing a needle into a sharps container. Alissa walked into Amadias office and sat down on Amadias guest couch and pull out one of her lunch containers.

Amadia came in a few minutes later and kissed Alissa hard and said, "you won't believe what I discovered!"
